When people learn from a foreign language, the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are equally important. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

参考范文：
Currently, millions of people all around the world are
learning at least one foreign language so as to become well prepared if there are some relevant opportunities in their career development. However, some of them only focus on one or two skills of a language, such as reading and listening. From my perspective, listening, speaking, writing and reading are 4 equally important skills of a languge.
Listening skills are of course important, as they are used most widely in people's daily lives. For a new comer in a foreign country, the first difficulty in his/her life will be listening and understanding what the local people speak. In addition, engaging the learners in a lot of listening activities is a good way of enlargening their vocabulary, as these activities often help form a image for every word they hear in their mind.
As for speaking, it is often connected with listening. However, even if a person has a good command of listening and understanding a foreign language, they will not necessarily become a good user of
this language until they open their mouth and keep practising.
Next, Reading is an important way of gaining information in language learning and it is a basic skill for a language learner. Afterall, in everyday use of a foreign language, the ability to
understand what it says on a newspaper or in a piece of subtitle is very important.
Finally, Writing provides a learner with physical evidence of his achievements and he can measure his improvement. It helps to consolidate their grasp of vocabulary and structure, and complements the other language skills. Sentence is the base of an article. So he should begin his writing with sentences.
In conclusion, I am convinced that all four skills of a foreign language are equally important during the process of learning it, and it is wise for foreign language learners to put equal time in sharpening these 4 skills.。
