第一课时:完成Section A (P53-P54)
StepⅠ: Leading in
Show students a picture of a movie and ask: “What’s this in English?”
Do you like movies? I also like movies, so I want to go to a movie.
Do you want to go to a movie?
Today let’s learn Unit 9 Do you want to go to a movie?
Step Ⅱ: New words
Show students a picture of a edy. “ I like this kind of movies, they are funny. Can you guess what kind of movies his is?” Then write edy---edies---funny/interesting on the blackboard.
Then show students other kinds of movies. Write the singular forms,plural forms and adj on the blackboard.
Step Ⅲ: Section A 1a
I know a cinema. There are many kinds of movies in it. Do you want to go there? Now open your books and turn to page 53. Match the the words with the pictures.
Step IV : Section A 1b
Look at the boy and the girl. They are my friends. What kind of movies do they want to see? Let’s listen. You are supposed to circle the kinds of movies you hear.
StepⅤ: Section A 1c
I am a teacher now, so I have a lot of time on Saturday. I want to go to a movie. Now I want to find someone who can go to a movie with me.
Ask one student: “Do you want to go to a movie?” “ What kind of movies do you like?” Then ask another one.
After they finish answering my questions. I write the 2 sentence
patterns on the blackboard.
Then I read, students follow.
After reading, I ask: “ Do you want to invite your f riends to go to a movies?” Now practise this dialogue and invite your friends. Step Ⅵ: Section A 2a
Show students a picture of a boy and say: “ This boy’s English name is Ben.”
Show students another picture of a girl and say: “ This girl’s English name is Sally.”
“ Ben wants to invite Sally to go to a movie. What kind of movies do they like? Let’s listen.”
Step VII: Section B 2b
Let’s listen again. Please put a happy face, a crying face or a question mark in the blanks.
Step VIII : Homework

第一个对话活动中,给出对话的大体格式,既是保证学生在对话过程中高频度地使用目标语,又是从学生的实际学习能力出发,恰当地设置活动难度,使学生能在语言学习中获得成功感,提高学习的激情。
第二个对话活动只提供给学生几个关键词,目的在于,让学生完全自主地运用目标语,并结合旧学的语言结构展开语言活动,强调对学生语用能力的培养。

Section B 2c的仿写一篇完整的短文属于首次出现,对学生而言有一定的
难度。
我们给出五个句子要求学生进行信息填写的目的,为学生提供写作的关键句式,降低写作难度。
有了这五个句式,学生在写时会把注意力放在以下两个方面:确理解与领悟副词really, also, often的含义,排列信息顺序;运用连词and, but连句成文。
学生的写作过程中,他的写作方式与技巧就获得了潜移默化地培养。
