My Autobiography
My name is Lily, and I was born on January 10th, 1995, in a small town in China. I grew up with my parents and my older brother in a loving and supportive environment.
As a child, I was very curious and had a thirst for knowledge. I loved reading books and learning about different cultures and ways of life. I was also a very outgoing and social child, always making new friends and exploring new activities.
My parents instilled in me the importance of education from a young age. They encouraged me to study hard and pursue my dreams. This shaped my work ethic and determination to succeed in everything I do.
When I entered middle school, I discovered my passion for mathematics. I found joy in solving complex problems and understanding the logic behind them. I excelled in my math classes and participated in various math competitions, earning several awards and honors.
After graduating from high school, I decided to pursue a degree in Mathematics at a prestigious university. College was a challenging but rewarding experience for me. I met many like-minded individuals who shared my love for math, and we formed study groups to help each other succeed.
During my time in college, I also had the opportunity to study
abroad for a semester. I chose to go to the United States, as I wanted to immerse myself in a different culture and improve my English skills. Living in a foreign country was a transformative experience for me, and it helped me become more independent and open-minded.
Upon graduating from university, I knew I wanted to further my education and pursue a Master's degree. I applied to several universities in the United States, and was fortunate enough to be accepted into a top program.
Studying in a foreign country has its challenges, but I believe that it is the best way to expand one's horizons and gain a global perspective. I have had the opportunity to work with professors who are experts in their fields and collaborate with fellow students from all over the world.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also been involved in various extracurricular activities. I have volunteered at local schools to teach math to underprivileged students, and I have also participated in community service projects.
In my free time, I enjoy reading novels, playing the piano, and hiking. These activities help me relax and recharge, and they allow me to explore my creative side.
Looking back on my journey so far, I am grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. I am excited for what the future holds and look forward to making a positive impact in the field of mathematics.。
