C、1.自主学习：多位数的读法
要表示几千或千以上的多位数时，先从数字的右端向左端数起，每三位数加一个千分空，用逗号表示，从右向左的第一个千分空为thousand，第二个千分空为million，第三个千分空为billi on；然后每节数字依照几百几十几的方式表示。

如：
8,296,435 eight million two hundred and ninety-six thousand four hundred and thirty-five
[提示] hundred，thousand，million，billion在和具体数字连历时，不能用复数形式；如：two hundred,three thousand, four million, five billion; 表示概数时，用复数形式且与of连用，如：hundreds of成百上千，thousands of成千上万，millions of 数百万，billions of几十亿。

Father's Day has a very short history. It was started because there was a Mother's Day, and just because some American thought that if we had a Mother's Day, we should also have a Father's Day. Father's Day has become important in North America. And businesses found it was a good way to get people to buy a present for their father, a present from their shops.
