Some people take it for granted that some numbers can bring them good luck. For instance, the so called lucky number “8”is widely preferred by most of the people. When they install a telephone, or buy a cell phone, or choose the license plate for their car, many people try to get as many “8” as possible. They think that the number “8” can bring them good luck and a great fortune.
Yet other people don’t think in this way. They argue that numbers are nothing but a kind of symbol used for counting. Numbers have nothing to do with luck. It is superstitious to connect on e’s life with the numbers. So, they laugh at those who think numbers can bring good luck.
