一般过去时和过去进行时专项精讲练习
一般过去时
1．定义：表示在过去某一时间内发生的动作或存在的状态。

常与表示过去的时间状语连用，如：yesterday及其相关短语, last引导的短语, ago引导的短语, just now, in 1989, when I was at middle school等。

过去进行时
1，定义：主要表示过去某个时刻正在进行的动作
2，基本结构：由be动词的过去式was或were＋V-ing （动词的现在分词）构成
3，典型的时间状语：常和表示过去时间的状语如then（那时），at this（that）time（在这时/那时），from…to…yesterday，（昨天几点到几点），when引导的过去时从句。

另外while引导的从句用过去进行时的时候，主句也要用一样的过去进行时。

但在不少情况下，没有表示时间的状语，此时需通过上下文来表示。
