HPZ420工作站主板(X79,C602)折腾笔记
HPZ420⼯作站主板(X79,C602)折腾笔记公司的电脑有点慢,然后最近运⾏了SQL Server服务之后,内存⼜不太够。
于是就在淘宝上搜索⼀些洋垃圾相关的信息。
找来找去,发现X79是不错的选择,CPU性能够⽤,内存价格便宜(16G不到200元)。
淘宝上搜索了⼀下,净是⼀⼤堆华南⾦牌主板,没⽤过,但是⼝碑似乎⼀般,⽽且华南主板⽤的都是H61芯⽚做X79主板,接⼝和功能都少的可怜。
⽹上也找不到太多相关的信息。
偶然看到惠普Z420⼯作站⽤的主板,⽤料和做⼯真的是没得说,扩展性⽐华南不知道⾼到哪⾥去了。
做了⼀下功课,提前查了⼀下这个主板要注意的⼀些东西:1.电源接⼝是18pin的,需要专⽤电源,否则要买转接线。
2.主板有很多检测机制,USB不接,风扇不是原装的,机箱风扇不接,这些都会报错,需要F1才能继续,对于想当服务器的⽤户来说,这是⽆法接受的。
3.这个板⼦BootBlock分V1和V2两个版本,V1不⽀持E5 V2的处理器,购买的时候需要注意(⽹上⼜有说,如果⽤编程器刷⼊固件,那么BootBlock会⼀起更新到V2,就可以⽀持E5 V2处理器了)。
4.当安装的是E5处理器的时候,是可以使⽤ECC REG内存的,也就是淘宝上那种特别便宜的内存。
主板不⽀持普通DDR 3内存。
5.这块板⼦CPU供电接⼝的⽅向特殊,并⾮普通的与主板垂直,⽽是横躺在主板边缘,需要主板上⽅有⾜够的空间,⽀持冷排的机箱即可,但是冷排可能就不能安装了,主板上⽅没有空间的,没法安装这款主板。
做好⾜够的功课后,就在淘宝上下单买了回来。
主板很便宜,520元,再加⼀个18pin转换线,⼤概20-30元。
都在同⼀家,⼀起买回来就可以了。
同时⼜在其他店家购买了128G DDR3 1866 ECC REG内存(8*16G)和E5 2650 V2的处理器。
回来装好,⼀次性点亮,主板,内存,CPU都没有问题。
店家发的主板,BIOS竟然是改过的,不接风扇,⼀⼤堆错误,但是不⽤按F1,就能正常开机进⼊系统。

打开机器,当显示 HP 图标画面时按 F10 按键可以进入BIOS 设置。
进入 BIOS 后先选择 English 进入 BIOS 菜单。
以下为 BIOS 菜单中各项介绍:1.File(文件),点击 System Information(系统信息),如下图:1.System Information(系统信息)可以查看系统硬件信息。
(如下图)2.About (关于)3.Set Time and Date (设置时间和日期)使用方向键调整时间,日期,TAB 键切换。
如下图:4.Flash System ROM (刷新 BIOS)可以通过 USB,CD 刷新。
如下图:5.Replicated Setup (复制设置)1.Save to Removable Media (保存到可移动介质):将包括 CMOS 在内的系统配置保存到已格式化的 1.44 MB 软盘、USB 闪存介质设备或类似软盘的设备。
(设置为模拟软盘驱动器的存储设备)2.Restore from Removable Media (从可移动介质恢复):从软盘、USB闪存介质设备或类似软盘的设备恢复系统配置。

UEFI is areplacement for BIOS that provides a 64-bit interface between system firmware and the operatingsystem.The Zx20 firmware is capable of booting in UEFI mode by enabling the storage controller’s EFI driverin Computer Setup. These instructions assume that you are starting from a blank disk drive, or single- ora multiple-drive RAID volume, or one that contains a BIOS-based operating system (OS). To simplify theinstallation, you should unplug all disk drives except for the one you intend to use to install Windows.Note that installing from an optical drive connected to the Intel C602 SCU controller is not supported.In UEFI mode, Windows requires a disk partitioning mechanism known as GUID partition table (GPT).GPT was introduced with UEFI, and allows for volumes larger than 2.2 TB. 两款产品均隶属入门级的Z200 系列,其上代产品是HP Z230 图形工作站。
HP Z200 系列工作站的特点是:提供工作站级性能的同时,具备紧凑、小巧的体型,同时又保持入门级产品的价格竞争力。
这一代的HP Z240 强化了这种特点,不仅更小巧,而且性能更强大。
这对于工作空间有限,要求较强数据运算和图形处理能力,又追求性价比的用户而言,十分难得。
众所周知,计算机的性能和体积是相悖的。

打开机器,当显示 HP 图标画面时按 F10 按键可以进入BIOS 设置。
进入 BIOS 后先选择 English 进入 BIOS 菜单。
以下为 BIOS 菜单中各项介绍:1.File(文件),点击 System Information(系统信息),如下图:1.System Information(系统信息)可以查看系统硬件信息。
