美不自美，因人而彰-----“英语海报”在中学英语教学中的运用嘉兴市秀州中学分校张露【摘要】唐代文学家柳宗元言“美不自美，因人而彰”，说的是事物的内在美和内在功效不可能自然显现，而是因为人的发现和表现才能得以充分彰显。

笔者在英语教学实践中发现，“英语海报”在一定程度上可以发挥彰显英语教学之效。

本文详尽地阐释了如何依据新课标的目标和要求，师生协助制作海报，重构英语教学内容的设计活动，以及再充分发挥“英语海报”的彰显之功效，进一步张贴展示、评价，进而发挥“英语海报”的持续功效。

英语课堂内外如果以海报为载体，可以把时间和空间还给学生，可以把枯燥的初中英语教学变得生动有趣，这不仅体现了创新课堂理念，也培养学生综合运用英语的能力，从而进一步提高学生的英语综合素质。
