美不自美,因人而彰-----“英语海报”在中学英语教学中的运用嘉兴市秀州中学分校张露【摘要】唐代文学家柳宗元言“美不自美,因人而彰”,说的是事物的内在美和内在功效不可能自然显现,而是因为人的发现和表现才能得以充分彰显。

笔者在英语教学实践中发现,“英语海报”在一定程度上可以发挥彰显英语教学之效。

本文详尽地阐释了如何依据新课标的目标和要求,师生协助制作海报,重构英语教学内容的设计活动,以及再充分发挥“英语海报”的彰显之功效,进一步张贴展示、评价,进而发挥“英语海报”的持续功效。

英语课堂内外如果以海报为载体,可以把时间和空间还给学生,可以把枯燥的初中英语教学变得生动有趣,这不仅体现了创新课堂理念,也培养学生综合运用英语的能力,从而进一步提高学生的英语综合素质。

笔者在教学实践中发现,英语教学发挥学生学习的内动力,师生可以协助制作海报,重构英语教学内容的设计活动。

英语教学可以是技术活,也可以是艺术境界,但我们国内的英语教学,被很多英语教师修炼成了艰苦的技术活,就是让学生由于每天背诵或者默写大量的单词、词组和句子,学生痛苦不堪,教师面对不理想的教学效果,也喜忧参半。
