around此处作介词，表示“在……四周；环绕……”

Mr. Chen travels around the world each year.

陈先生每年到世界各地旅行。

show vt., vi. 展示，出示；给……看。如：

He shows me his pictures.

他把他的图画给我看。

He shows me his new books.

他给我看他的新书。

n.展示；展览；（剧院、夜总会、电台或电视里的）表

演。如：

Many people went to see the flower show. 许多

人去看了花展。

These TV shows are very interesting. 这些电视

节目非常有趣。

—这是/那是什么？

—这是/那是……

这是以What开头的、询问某个物品是什么的特殊疑问

句型。其答语为“It’s a/an …”. 例如：
