中国文化英语作文篇1Traditional Chinese culture is beginning to capture the attention of the world. This is true even as popular culture that has traditionally been considered Western begins to spread throughout China. Kung Fu, especially, has had a great impact on the millions of people who first learned about China through it. From that, they may come to China and learn about other aspects of this culture, such as traditional operas like the Beijing and Sichuan ones. Asian nations have long known about the greatness of ancient Chinese culture. Their own cultures are a mix of native ones and those Chinese characteristics. Korea and Japan long ago adopted ideas such as Confucianism is something that continues today even as it is challenged by Pop Culture. This strength comes from the ideas given in the Four Books of Confucianism (The Great Learning, The Doctrine of the Mean, The Analects of Confucius, and The Book of Mencius). These books built upon the ideas of an even more ancient period codified in the Five Classics. From them, the West learns such things as Fengshui and other concepts that are uniquely Chinese. China has taken steps to further this spread of its culture by establishing Chinese Cultural Centers in such places as the United States and Europe.中国传统文化正在吸引全世界的注意,尽管在传统意义上被看成是西方文化的流行文化开始在中国广泛传播。

关于传统文化初三英语作文1Today, as the development of technology, people work with efficiency and some of the traditional handmade work have been abandoned. For example, the paper cutting, which is the classical art for Chinese culture. It has the long history and foreigners are so impressed by this amazing work. While for the young generation, most of them have no idea how this art is made, they only know it from the news and some pictures. The traditional culture is forgetting and we have duty to keep it as part of the national treasure. Though technology facilitates our life, we can’t abandon our culture. More activities should be held to let people know more about our culture.如今,随着科技的进展,人们的工作更加有效率了,一些传统的手工活就被遗弃了。

The calligrapher may play with speed, pressure, stroke order(笔画顺序) to create visual effects which may be in accordance with the emotions within the text, such is in the most revered Preface to the Orchid Pavilion(兰亭序) by Wang Xizhi.
Cursive styles and hand-written styles
Cursive styles such as Xí ngshū (semi-cursive or running script) and Cǎoshū (cursive or grass script) are less constrained(拘泥的) and faster, where more movements made by the writing implement are visible. These styles' stroke orders vary more, sometimes creating radically different forms. They are descended from Clerical script, in the same time as Regular script (Han Dynasty), but Xí ngshū and Cǎoshū were use for personal notes only, and were never used as standard. Caoshu style was highly appreciated during Emperor Wu of Han reign (140-87).

Calligraphy【kə'lɪgrəfɪ】书法;笔迹

Imperial China
In Imperial China, the graphs on old steles(石碑) — some dating from 200 BC, and in Xiaozhuan style — are still accessible. In about 220 BC, the emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first to conquer the entire Chinese basin, imposed several reforms, among them Li Si„s character unification(统一), which created a set of 3300 standardized Xiǎozhuàn characters. Despite the fact that the main writing implement(工具,手段) of the time was already the brush, little paper survives from this period, and the main examples of this style are on steles.

Calligraphy is also considered an art(艺 术 Chinese: yì shù), a relatively(相当地;相 对地,比较地)recent word meaning "art", where works are appreciated more or only for their aesthetic qualities. The English word "Calligraphy" refers to that which is "beautiful writing", thus including both aspects.

Ancient China
The oldest extant Chinese characters from ancient China are Jiǎgǔwén characters carved on ox scapulas and tortoise plastrons around 14th - 11th century BCE. Brush-written examples decay(衰减,腐烂) over time and have not survived. During the divination ceremony, after the cracks(龟裂) were made, characters were written with a brush on the shell or bone to be later carved. With the development of Jīnwén (Bronzeware 青铜器 script) and Dàzhuàn (Large Seal Script) “cursive(草书) " signs continued. Moreover, each archaic kingdom of current China had its own set of characters.
classification [klæ sɪfɪ'keɪʃ(ə)n] n. 分类;类别,等级
As a disciplined calligraphy is, at the basic level, a pursuit(书法 Chinese: shūfǎ), “the rules of writing Han characters” focused on writing well. Students aim to obtain the writing characteristics of exemplary pieces of writing. Elementary school(小学) students practice calligraphy in this way, as do elders practicing temporary calligraphy, without aspiring to artistic creation.
