【要点点击】
1. It is thoughtful of Andy to play his CDs for us.安迪考虑很周到，为我们播放了光盘。

“It is ＋adj ＋of＋…＋不定式”表示“某人做某事真是……”，其中形容词是表示某人内在品质的词。

it是形式主语，真正的主语是动词不定式短语。

如：
It is kind ___________you ____________(tell) me the way.
你能给我指路真是太好了。

It is foolish ___________ him __________(do) such things.
做出这样的事，他真太愚蠢了。

It is selfish _________them ____________ (not share) food with each other. 不分享食物，他们真是太自私了。

句中of的宾语与前面的形容词在意义上有主谓关系。

如果用介词for，意义则为“相对于……而言”。

它们之间没有主谓关系。

如：
It is useful ___________ us all __________ (learn) a foreign language.
对我们大家来说，掌握一门外语是有用处的。

It is difficult _________ him ___________ ( finish) the work in three days. 对他而言，在三天内完成这项完成这项工作是困难的。

of all colours表示“各种颜色的”，在这里作后置定语。

eg：

3. He is patient enough to wait for a long time.他耐心地等了很长时间。

(1)enough意为“足够的”，修饰形容词或副词时，enough位于形容词或副词之后。

enough 后的动词用不定式，即“to do”如：
