The After Party by Anton DiSclafani（384Pages）Summary: The story of the complex friendship of two 1950’s Houston wealthy women: Joan Fortier, the queen of the Houst on social scene, and CeCe Buchanan, her best friend and ba bysitter.
My thoughts: The After Party is a pretty good, but not earth-shaking read about wealthy people behaving badly.
The Expatriates by Janice Y.K.Lee（336 Pages）Summary: A story about life in Hong Kong told through the ey es of three women.
My thoughts: I was expecting a light novel about wealthy, suc cessful expats（移居外国者）
living it up in Hong Kong and I was delighted to find the story also has surprising depth.
