It is with great disappointment that I write this letter to express my utter dissatisfaction with the service I have received from your company. As a long-standing customer, I have always expected and received a high level of professionalism and customer care from your organization However, my most recent experience has left me feeling frustrated and let down.
The issue began when I placed an order with your online store on June 15th for a set of patio furniture. I was quoted a delivery timeframe of 7-10 business days and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new outdoor set to enjoy over the summer months. Unfortunately, when the 10-day mark passed with no sign of my order, I contacted your customer service department to inquire about the status.
The representative I spoke with was unable to provide me with any concrete information and could only tell me that there had been a delay in the shipping process. I was told that my order would be delivered as soon as possible but was not given a revised estimated
delivery date. Unsatisfied with this response, I requested to speak with a supervisor, who eventually informed me that the patio set I had ordered was currently out of stock and on backorder with the manufacturer.
I found this information unacceptable, as nowhere on your website at the time of my purchase was there any indication that the item was not readily available. Had I known this, I would have either chosen a different product or placed my order elsewhere to ensure I received it in time for the start of summer. The supervisor apologized for the lack of transparency but could not provide me with a firm delivery date, only stating that it could be several more weeks before my order was fulfilled.
Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by this turn of events. I had planned to use the new patio furniture for various gatherings and events throughout the summer, and the delay has now forced me to make alternative arrangements. This has not only inconvenienced me but has also cost me additional time and money that I should not have had to incur.
To make matters worse, when I requested a refund or the option to cancel my order entirely, I was told that neither was possible due to your company's policies. I find this unacceptable, as I believe I should have the right to receive a full refund if the product I ordered is
unavailable or if there are significant delays in the delivery process. Forcing me to wait an indefinite amount of time for an item I no longer have use for is simply unfair.
I have been a loyal customer of your company for many years, and this is the first time I have ever encountered such poor service and a complete lack of customer care. I expect that you will take immediate action to rectify this situation and provide me with a satisfactory resolution.
At the very minimum, I believe I am entitled to a full refund of the purchase price, as well as compensation for the additional costs I have incurred due to the delayed delivery. I would also appreciate a sincere apology for the lack of transparency and the unacceptable customer service I have experienced.
Furthermore, I hope that you will take this opportunity to review your policies and procedures to ensure that similar issues do not arise in the future. Providing clear and accurate information to customers, as well as offering flexible options in the event of delays or out-of-stock items, would go a long way in improving the overall customer experience.
I trust that you will address this matter with the utmost urgency and provide me with a swift and satisfactory resolution. I look forward to
hearing from you within the next 5 business days. If I do not receive a response by that time, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue further and consider pursuing legal action.
