一、教学目标:
1.知识目标:掌握单词man woman baby 和句型Who is it?
It’s_________.并复习现在进行时。
2.情感目标:激发学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣,培养他们英语学习的主动性,使他们养成大胆说英语的习惯,体会学习过程的成就感和快乐。
3.技能目标:使学生掌握一定的语言知识和基本技能,建立初步的语感,获得基本的语言运用能力。
二、教学重点、难点:
重点:掌握单词man woman baby 和句型Who is it? It’s________.难点:能用句型Who is it? It’s________.进行情景对话。
三、教学过程
1、GREETING
2、REVIEW
l Sing “The Family in Our House”复习关于家庭成员的词汇。
(brothersisterfathermothersondaughter….)
l Play “SIMON SAYS”game.
如:Simon says all boys point.
Simon says all girls go to sleep.
Simon says all boys stand .
Simon says all girls draw pictures.
3、Key Concepts.
man woman baby Who is it? It’s_________.
(1)INTRODUCE
出示图片(father mother son daughter )
学生给他们取名字,并说明年龄。
(A)T: (指第一幅图)This is Mr. Smith .Who is it?( 板书Who is it?)
S: Mr. Smith .
T: Is he a father?
S:Yes.
T: How old is he?
S: He’s thirty-eight years old.
T: Yes . Very good. He’s thirty-eight years old.He is a man. Read after me . He is a man. Man.(板书 Man)
(B)用同样的方法学习woman.让学生自己观察两个单词,发现记忆技巧,woman就是在man的前面加上mo- 。
(C)教师出示哭的婴儿图片baby
T: This is a baby . Who is it?
S: It’s a baby. (板书It’s_________.)
T: Yes.(板书 baby)
出示男孩和女孩图片boy、girl,用一般疑问句Is he/she a boy/girl?提问,使学生理解boy、girl和baby的不同.
用黑板上的图片和书中图片练习
T: Who is it?
S: It’s ______.
(D)出示问题,学生自读课文第一部分:
What is the baby doing?
Who is sitting behind Jenny?
What is the man doing ?
(2)看课文第二部分图片,回答问题:Who are they?
听录音,跟读课文第二部分:(注意say和says的读音)
Who is crying? Is the baby quiet or loud ?
Who is singing? Is she quiet?
Who is talking? Is he loud ?
学生自由读课文。
4、PRACTICE
同桌拿出带的照片,同桌或分组介绍。
教师与一名学生先示范
T: Who is the man?
S:The man is my father.
T: Who is the woman?
S:The woman is my mother.
5、Class Closing.

六、课堂教学资源:
1、sayspeaktalk 的区别
say一般作及物动词用,着重说话的内容,它的宾语可以是名词,代词或宾语从句。
say+具体的说的内容say sth to sb
speak+说的语言或单独使用。
speak强调说的动作,不强调所说的内容。
作及物动词时,常以某种语言作宾语。
此外speak还可用于在较为正式的场合了表演讲或演说。
talk 一般为不及物动词,意思是“交谈,谈话”,着重强调两者之间的相互说话。
2、baby指从出生到会说话、会走路之前的孩子。
