摘要：The defibrillator-pacemaker device includes a high energy pulse generator and a module which monitors the ventricular and auricular activity of the heart. An electronic processing module processes the data to identify and classify tachycardia events. A diagnostic algorithm is used to identify these events. The algorithm uses a number of criteria such as: ventricular frequency, stability of ventricular intervals (RR). The algorithm also uses an additional criterion which searches for intervals RR short and/or long which have been significantly lengthened in a given zone of stability (RRmax-RRmin). The processing module compares the number of auricular events with the number of ventricular events.
