On assisting strangers
I had some experiences in which i gave hands to strangers. Although i didn't get any rewards through assisting strangers, i am still willing to help them now and then.
When you see those helpless people wearing worry , sadness, desperateness on their faces, you just cant help asking" what's wrong? " or " what can i do for you ?"
Even if sometimes i have to make sacrifice when assisting others, i will never feel regretful.
One day in last summer , i went off a part-time job. Having kept standing beside shelves as a salesgirl in a supermarket for seven hours, i was almost worn out. Finally i reached the bus station, waiting for the bus impatiently. Suddenly i noticed that there was a crying girl squatting on a corner nearby the bus station. Other passengers also found that girl , but they were just staring at her ,without saying a word. So i approached her ,then bent over and asked " what makes you so upset ?" The girl raised her head and replied me " i lost my younger brother." After comforting her , i passed my mobile phone to her , and asked her to get connection with her families. Then i called the police for help. An hour later , the police came and took the girl to the police station. However , i missed my bus home. When i returned back , it was very dark . On that evening, i got messages from the police and the girl's family , showing
thanks to me . I felt so happy and proud of myself.。
