(PEP《小学英语》五年级下册Unit3 B. Read and write)

学情分析:
本班共有69名学生,他们好奇心强、思维比较活跃,爱表现。

并且已经具备了一定的基本知识和技能,对基本的课堂用语,教师的指令已经基本掌握,在图片或多媒体课件的帮助下能听懂、读准英语单词和句子。

在教师的指导下能做一系列任务活动。

但是也有一小部分学生学习方法不当,学习信心有所不足。

在本单元的前几个课时里学生已经基本掌握了12个月份的表达以及每个月份的相应节日,能够用When is the ……?It’s in ……. 表达有关学校活动举行的月份。

这对学生理解本课时的Read and write 有很大的帮助。

教学目标:
1. 能正确听、说、认读单词和短语holiday, game, roll, look for, chocolate,
bunny, RSVP, by.
2. 能听懂、读懂和内化Read and write 的内容,并完成读后练习。

3. 能复述短文,并大胆尝试英文写作。

4. 能掌握良好的阅读策略,提高自主学习能力;能在小组活动中就阅读材料展开讨论共同处理阅读中有关信息,探索解决问题的方法,培养合作学习意识。

5. 了解西方复活节文化。

教学重难点:
重点:
1. 能听懂、读懂并内化Read and write 的内容,并掌握基本的阅读策略。

2. 能在实际语境中学会运用将来时“will”的表达方式。

难点:
能提高阅读技巧,掌握基本阅读策略,并进行大胆思考和尝试写作。

教学媒体:
多媒体课件、阅读材料、练习题纸、复活节彩蛋等实物
教学环节:
一、Warm-up and Lead-in
1.Let’s sing: 《The twelve months》
2.Brain storm
3.T: As you know, there are 12 months in a year. Can you guess which
months does Miss Huang like best? Why?
二、Assigning the tasks:
T: Bingo!I like September best because of my birthday . When is your birthday? Do you often hold a party on that day? Do you want to invite your friends to your party? Today we will talk about an invitation.
Also, I have a task for you.
Task for today: Try to write an invitation for your birthday party.
三、Pre-reading
1.Look, question and answer.
2.Know about Easter and learn some new phrases.
(eg: funny → bunny; hot, play → holiday )
四、While- reading

1. Situation:
T: Robin and Wu Yifan want to hold an Easter party. Will you come to the party?
2. Listen and answer.
When is the Easter party?
Why will they have an Easter party?
Where is the party held?
㈡由浅入深,层层阅读
1. Read quickly, and choose the right answer.
This passage is an____. ( A. email B. invitation(邀请函)
Guide students to find out the key words: When, Why, Where, What.
Check their answers.
2. Read silently and carefully, finish the following exercises.
1) Answer: What will they do at the party?
2) Read and tick or cross.
3. Underline the new words.
Maybe the new words are holiday, RSVP, by, send …
Guess the meaning in the context.
4. Read the invitation loudly and try to follow the video.
