摘要：PURPOSE:To enable the position of the gap of a magnetic core by applying a resin coating to the magnetic core composed of a magnetic alloy and formed with a gap in part of the magnetic core and clearly indicating the position of the gap on the surface of the resin coating. CONSTITUTION:Part of a magnetic core formed to a wound magnetic core or a laminated magnetic core is cut to provide a gap and an insulator, for example, a paper or the like is inserted in the gap. Then, the magnetic core is suspended while the gap of the core being held by a thread-like material (for example, cotton thread). In this case, the holding portion of the gap is enabled to be discriminated. Then, a resin is coated. When, after the resin is hardened, the excessive thread-like material is removed from the coated surface of the magnetic core, the trace of the thread-like material indicative of the position of the gap is left on the surface of the resin coating. By marking otherwise based on the trace, the position of the gap can be more definitely confirmed.
