初中英语《Unit 9 Have you ever been to an amusement park?》课堂教学叙事对于将英语作为外语的中国人来说,英语阅读不仅是英语学习的目的,而且是英语学习的主要手段和途径。
英语阅读技能不仅是最重要的语言技能之一,也是学生必须掌握的学习技能之一。
英语阅读能力是发展其他语言技能的基础和前提。
因而对阅读能力的培养也提出了更高的要求。
在目前教学中学生缺乏直接听、说外语机会的情况下,通过阅读接触外语,吸收语言材料的机会也很少。
所以以往的阅读理解教学总是做的不到位,拿来一篇文章多数都是学生读读,然后老师就文章的内容提几个相关的问题,对不会的句子给解释一下。
学生练习的机会也很少,那么如何才能更好地培养学生的阅读能力呢,通过本次培训之后我决定改变以往的教学方法,采用新的方法来尝试一下阅读教学。
我选择的是八年级下第九单元的一篇文章,这篇文章的主要内容是介绍Singapore(新加坡)的。
第一,看完这篇文章后我改变了以往的做法,我先上网去查有关新加坡的简介,结合课本介绍的知识我再额外扩充一些常识性的知识,把课本里的知识再加上我扩充的知识还有新加坡的特色景点和美食都做成幻灯片,首先在视觉上给学生一个崭新的感觉,让学生在课堂里通过幻灯片的播放感觉就像在新加坡旅游一样,让学生对要学习的内容有个整体上的了解。
这要比以往拿出一篇文章就读,效果要好的多。
在这个基础上读起文章来更有助于对文章深入的理解。
当学生看完幻灯片介绍之后兴趣都很浓厚,很想快速读一下文章还介绍了哪些新加坡的内容。
我趁热打铁,给大家3分钟的时间快速阅读文章内容,告诉我这篇文章从哪几方面介绍了新加坡。
第二,当学生第一遍读完文章后,很多学生已经举手要发表自己的观点了,这在以前很少有人主动站起来回答问题,这是一个鲜明的变化。
学生们很快七嘴八舌的把这篇文章主要内容都说的很准确。
