PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system easy to mount and capable of realizing a sufficient and uniform light distribution.
SOLUTION: This lighting system 100 is mounted to, for instance, a ceiling 1 of a room. The lighting system 100 is provided with a light source part 10 and a connection part 20. The light source part 10 and the connection part 20 can be connected and separated. In addition, the light source part 10 is equipped with a plurality of light emitting diodes 11, a sheet member 12 and a power feed cable 13. On the entire surface of the sheet member 12, the plurality of light emitting diodes 11 are discretely arranged at low density. In addition, a hole part 14 having a predetermined size is formed at a predetermined place of the sheet member 12. In mounting the lighting system 100 to the ceiling 1, a user can separately carry out work for attaching the light source part 10 to the ceiling 1, and work for mounting the connection part 20 to a ceiling block of the ceiling 1.
