He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.
一、教材分析:
本课的故事是大明正在举办一个生日聚会,当他吹唢呐的时候,被突然发生的一些事件给打断了。

需要学生掌握的语言功能句是:Daming is playing the suona, but the phone rings. 本课的内容贴近学生的生活实际,有利于培养学生在真实的语言情景中运用英语进行交际的能力。

二、学习目标:
1、学生能听懂、会说、会用核心句型:
(1) He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.
(2) He is playing the suona, but the bell rings.
(3) He is playing the suona, but the dog starts to bark very loudly.
2..能运用核心句型谈论正在做一件事时另外一件事同时发生。

3.通过各种活动和游戏,培养孩子运用英语的能力,并能用所学语言描述生活中的场景。

4.让学生通过前面句型的学习,输出完整的句子,在此基础上能自己尝试写出简短的故事。

5.通过多种形式的运用和练习,提高学生的听、说、读、写等综合能力。

三、学习重难点:
重点:学生对本课重点句型和句子的掌握,能运用重点句型进行简单表达。

难点:be+V-ing...but... 正在做一件事时另外一件事同时发生。

学生能够理解并运用。

四、教学过程:
Step 1: Warming-up
1.Greetings
Step 2: Review the story of Activity 2
Let’s review the story we have learned last class.
Look! What is Daming doing? What happens?
(1) He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.
(2) He is playing the suona, but the bell rings.
(3) He is playing the suona, but the dog starts to bark very loudly.
Step 3: Let’s look at Activity 3 Listen and say
Pay attention to your intonation and pronunciation.
Step 4: Practice Activity 4 Listen and complete the sentences
For example:
Picture one : what is the boy doing? He’s crossing the street.
What happens? a car comes
So we can say: He’s crossing the street, but a car comes.
Now it’s your turn. I’ll give you one minute, try to complete the rest sentences according to the pictures. Clear? Here we go.
Let’s check the answers.
Step 5: Listen and match
Let’s look at table one. What can you find? These are the things that
people are doing. What about table two? These are things that suddenly happen.
Now can you make a complete sentence?
Step 6: Share a story
Just now, we made sentences by using this structure. Also we can write stories by using the sentences.
Look ! This girl is Xiaoxiao. What is she doing? She is singing. What happens? The phone rings. So we can say:
She is singing ,but the phone rings.
She is singing again ,but the bell rings.
She is singing for the third time ,but the baby starts to cry loudly.
Step 7: Write a story
Do you like the story? I write this story by myself. You can write a story, too.
Step8: Homework
1.Write a story by using the sentences we have learnt.
2.Share your story with your parents or your friends.
3.Finish the worksheet.。
