道德經
道德經，亦稱《老子》、《道德真經》、《老子道德經》，是中國古代的一部哲學著作，屬於道家典籍之一。

全文有五千多字，共分八十一章，是由中國春秋戰國時期的道家老子所作。

原文：
道德經
道可道，非常道。

名可名，非常名。

無名天地之始；有名萬物之母。

故常無欲，以觀其妙；常有欲，以觀其徼。

此兩者同出而異名，同謂之玄。

玄之又玄，眾妙之門。

天下皆知美之為美，斯惡已。

皆知善之為善，斯不善已。

故有無相生，難易相成，長短相形，高下相傾，音聲相和，前後相隨。

是以聖人處無為之事，行不言之教。

萬物作焉而不辭，生而不有。

為而不恃，功成而弗居。

夫唯弗居，是以不去。

1. 道可道，非常道。

(Daode can be spoken, but it is not the eternal Dao.)
名可名，非常名。

(Names can be named, but they are not the eternal Name.)
無名天地之始；(The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth;)
有名萬物之母。

(The named is the mother of all things.)
故常無欲，以觀其妙；(Therefore, always desireless, you can see the mystery;)
常有欲，以觀其徼。

(Ever desiring, you can see the manifestations.)
此兩者同出而異名，(These two spring from the same source but differ in name;)
同謂之玄。

(This appears as darkness. Darkness within darkness.) 玄之又玄，(The gate to all mystery.)
眾妙之門。

(Everyone knows beauty as beauty is evil.)
皆知善之為善，斯不善已。

(Everyone knows goodness as goodness is not good.)
故有無相生，難易相成，長短相形，(Being and non-being produce each other.
Difficult and easy complete each other.
Long and short contrast each other.)
高下相傾，音聲相和，(High and low harmonize with each other. Front and back follow each other.)
前後相隨。

(Before and after follow each other.)
是以聖人處無為之事，行不言之教。

(Therefore, the sage manages affairs without action
and imparts teachings without words.)
萬物作焉而不辭，生而不有。

(All things arise and he does not
refuse them.
They give all things life but do not possess them.)
為而不恃，功成而弗居。

(They act but do not rely on their own ability.
They accomplish their task but do not dwell on it.)
夫唯弗居，是以不去。

(They have no ambition and so nothing can be taken from them.)。
