Step 3Language practice
1.Ask students to do Activities 1 and 2.
First introduce “definite article and indefinite article” to students. After explaining the grammar point, ask the students to repeat the usages of definite and indefinite articles.
T: Now, it's time to check how you master it? Please do Activity 1 and 2.
Then check the answers by asking some students to read the complete sentences.

Step 5Reading
In this procedure, the students are asked to read the passage and complete the table in Activity 7.
T: In Activity 7, you can read an article about the plane named Concorde. First, read it by yourself to get the main idea and then work in groups and discuss to complete the table.
Check the answers with the whole class.

Step 7Around the world
T: Read the passage “The first pilot to fly alone across the Atlantic Ocean”. First, fill in the banks to get some general information:

T: Read the passage for the second time to write down what happened in the following years:

Step 7Module task

Work in groups. Find a news story about a good deed and turn it into a short play. Decide:

● the plot
Now write the play.
Step 8Homework
1.Ask students to do the rest activities in the workbook.
2.Ask students to summarize what we have learnt in this module and preview the next.
3.Recite the new words and phrases.
