When I grow up, I am going to move somewhere interesting . Paris sounds like a city that I could enjoy. I want to be a reporter for a fashion magazine. So how am I going to do it? First, I’m going to find a part-time job and save some money. Then, I’m going to be a student at an art school in Paris. And I am going to learn French at the same time. Next, I’m going to hold art exhibitions because I want to be famous.

Students can master sentence patterns, “ I’m going to ....”, and learn the simple future tense.

Students can talk about future by using the new sentence patterns smoothly, and improve their listening and speaking skills.

Students can learn to know their own dream,and study harder to make it come true.

4. Teaching procedures
Step 1: Lead in
At the beginning of the class, teacher will show some pictures about jobs, and and lead the students to talk about dream .
Step 2: Pre-listening
Students will to talk about their dreams, and how they are going to
do that.
Step 3: While-listening
1) Extensive listening.Students need to listen the tape for the first time and find out what the listening material is talking about. 2) Intensive listening
2) Intensive listening.Students will listen the passage intensively, and answer three questions.
3) listening and Reading.Students will listen to the tape and read after it for the last time.
Step 4: Post-listening
1) Retelling.Students will retell the whole passage in groups.
2) Brainstorming.Students will make a survey about their dream and how to make it come true.
Step 5: Summary and homework
I lead them to summarize what they have learned in this class.
Homework: read the passage for three times,and make a survey about their family’s dream.

Step 1: Leading-in
Now, look at the pictures on the screen, what can you see? Yes, so many different people, and different jobs. Jacky, please. Can you tell me you know?
