【摘要】Five issues regarding the construction of the disciplinary system of defense S & T information science are discussed, i. e. the concept and the research subject; the basic factors; the research object and major fields; the na-ture and academic position; and the function and mission. It's pointed out that strengthening the research on the theoreti-cal system of defense S & T information science and using this system to guide information practice and promote the devel-opment of defense S & T information undertakings are of great significance.
