Module2 unit1 London is a big city教学设计
一、教材分析:
本单元是整个模块教学的第一单元。

借助地图、图片认识英国的几个城市,
练习使用big small beautiful等形容词介绍其他城市或者自己的家,自己的
学校
二、教学目标:
1、知识与能力目标::能听说读及运用新单词: ship city beautiful whose close queen
能运用This is.......It’s.......简单描述一座城市
能听说及合理应用句型London is a big city. My house is very
small,but it’s beautiful.
2、过程与方法目标:培养学生认真观察事物及发散思维的能力
3、情感态度与价值观目标:乐于接触外国文化,增强祖国意识。

三、教学重点:
1、词汇:beautiful whose queen close
2、 London is a big city.
My house is very small,but it’s beautiful.
四、教学难点:
在日常生活中运用简单的口语化句子,熟练朗诵课文。

五、教学策略:
1、情景教学、游戏、合作探究、任务型教学法
2、以小学英语新课程标准为理论依据,根据小学生心理及生理特点,利用
英语空中课堂资源制成幻灯片,通过幻灯片来呈现新课
六、教学准备:
教学卡片、录音机及磁带、多媒体
七、教学过程:
Step1 Warming up
1、Greeting : Hello boys and girls! Are you happy?
2、Sing a song <If you are happy>
设计意图:师生间简单的对话拉近了距离,为新课的开展营造了良好的氛围,歌
曲的应用,提高学生的学习积极性,消除紧张的心理。

Step2 Review and lead in
I am happy .Are you happy? Look, panda is also happy. 批Is it .....? 设计意图:通过简短的对话,自然的过度到新课的学习,让学生有个整体的感知。

Step 3 Presentation and practice
1、Words
A、ship
Is it short?
Yes, this panda is short ,but that one is tall.(出示两张熊猫的图片。

) Is this ship big? (出示一张关于两艘船的图片,让学生跟着老师读。

然后让
学生个别读。

)
(出示新单词city、beautiful、whose)
2、Sentences
Ok ,where is it? It is London,it’s very big. So,we can say London is
a big city (出示一张卡片)
Let the students read after me one by one or two by two,and then practice
it with a game(from slowly to quickly)
Show the other picture about Miss Hong’s house,and lead students to learn new sentence (my house is small,but it’s beautiful.)
Practice this sentence.
3、Text
We know London is a big city,I like London,Amy and lingling also like London,look they are talk about London, Ok now let’s have a look, boys and girls please open your book and turn to page8.
First let’s listen to the CD about this text with some questions
A、whose house is it?
B、Is Amy’s house big?
Listen and point once again.
Listen and read after the computer.
设计意图:通过游戏、比赛等一系列活动,调动学生学习积极性,让其在玩当中不知不觉的掌握了本课的新知,教师为学生提供真实的语言环境,使语言学习在生活情景中更具有生命力。
