W: Would like to say something about your dream, Mr. Li? M: Sure, I’d like to. In my childhood, my dream was to be a policeman. W: Why? M: Because I had watched some movies about police. They were so cool. W: But you are not a policeman now. M: No. You know, when I grew up, I found I had another dream. W: So, tell me, what was that? M: I wanted to be a writer. W: Could you tell me why you changed your dream when you grew up? M: There were several reasons. I think the most important reason was that I became fat and could not be a policeman. W: OK. And I am interested in why you want to become a writer. M: Well. I was addicted to reading stories when I was only a primary school student. Then I began to write my own story when I entered middle school. I enjoyed writing from then on. W: So what is your future plan? M: I hope I can win a Nobel Prize for Literature in the future.

W: Do you have any plan tonight? M: No. Do you have any good suggestion? W: I know there is a wonderful concert. Would you like to go with me? M: Of course. I like the music. W: So you mean you like singing? M: Actually, I have learnt about singing for ten years. W: Amazing! But why do you choose medicine as you major? M: Well, I have to say that maybe not all the people can stick to their dreams. W: Could you tell me your reason? M: I drop my dream as a singer because of my parents. W: Oh… M: They want me to be a doctor. In their opinion, to be a singer is too difficult. W: Why? M: The competition is too harsh. You have to practise all day, join in countless contests and search for as many as new and good songs. My parents say that I am not fit for that. W: So do you like your major now? M: Yes. In fact, I like medicine very much, and I think I have made a right choice.
