A Rainy Day at School
It was a rainy day at school, and the clouds were dark and threatening. The raindrops splashed against the windows, making a soft tinkling sound that filled the classroom. The students were excited, as rainy days always brought a sense of adventure and fun.
During recess, we were allowed to stay indoors and play indoor games. Some students chose to read books in the library, while others played card games or board games in the classroom. I decided to join a group of friends and play a game of tag. We laughed and screamed as we chased each other around the classroom, enjoying the freedom and fun that the rainy day brought.
Lunchtime was even more exciting. The school cafeteria served hot soup and sandwiches, which were perfect for the chilly, rainy weather. As we ate, we chatted about our favorite subjects and shared stories about our families and friends.
As the day came to an end, the rain had stopped, and the sun peeked through the clouds. We all felt a sense of sadness as the rainy day came to an end, but we knew that there would be more rainy days in the future, filled with more fun and adventure.
