一、教材分析
本单元学习的主题是学习时间的表达法及描述不同时间进行的日常活动。
本课教学内容为 C Story time部分,故事呈现的是愚人节的早上Zip故意将钟表拨快了一个小时,提前叫醒Zoom起床,然后祝Zoom 愚人节快乐的故事。
学生除了复习巩固句型是What time is it? It’s…o’clock. It’s time to…. 以及get up,go to scool等短语外,还可以通过图片和上下文理解新短语和句子:wake up, sleep, wait, April Fool’s Day, I’m late for school。
这一故事教学的目的是让学生在阅读中进一步复习和巩固本单元的核心语言,并得以有效拓展,增加学生语言的输入。
二、教学目标
1.能力目标
(1)全体学生能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容,并朗读故事。
(2)大部分学生能够在教师的帮助下复述并表演故事。
(3)引导学生能够运用本单元所学核心语言讲述趣味故事,进一步激发学生“说”英语的欲望,提高学生英语阅读的兴趣,扩大阅读量。
2.知识目标
(1)通过对故事的学习,帮助全体学生在真实的故事情境中理解wake up, sleep,wait等词汇的含义,并能在复习巩固本单元核心句型的基础上拓展并学习新语言April Fool’s Day, I’m late for school.
(2)通过自主探究和小组合作等活动引导全体学生了解、掌握故事发生的起因、经过及结果。
3. 情感目标
通过学习帮助学生理解幽默诙谐的故事,让学生了解有趣的愚人节文化。
三、教学重、难点
1.重点:通过阅读故事,使学生在相对真实、完整的语境中接触、体验、理解语言。
难点:能够在图片和情景的帮助下,引导学生去表演故事。

五、教学过程
Before class:
1.师生打招呼
T: Hello,kids! I’m your new English teacher. You can call me Nancy. Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you, too!
2.分组, 介绍比赛方式
分为六个小组。
每组事先准备好的钟表模型,组内成员每表现好
一次,老师会说“Group1, tick tock/ One hour for you.组长就拨快一个小时,在课结束的时候,老师会问组长:What time is it? 决定哪组赢。
T: In our class, there are 6 groups: Group 1、2、3、4、5、6. If you do
well, you can get one hour for your group. ( 师重读one hour 并
亲自把钟表模型调快一个小时作为示范) Clear? Ss: Yes! T: So, come on, children!
Step1 Pre-reading
T: Now, Class begins!
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls!
Ss: Good afternoon, Cathy!
(一)Enjoy a song:《Tick tock time》
T: First, let’s enjoy a lovely song,师生跟着视频一起做动作,欣赏
歌曲。
(二)Review the sentences and words.
1.肢体语言What time is it?It’s… o’clock.
T: Fromthe song, you can see some clocks. Now I’m a clock .教师先用三个手势问What time is it? 生齐答It’s… o’clock. 再让一生台:Who can act like me? Girl, please! Come here! 模仿老师做两个手势,其余生齐答。
2. 用课件复习It’s time for/to….
T: Look! What time is it? It’s 6:25, It’s time to….Next, ….Last one….指生回答。
评价:tick tock an hour!
【课堂伊始,通过一首欢快的歌曲并与学生交流What time is it? It’s.... It’s time to/for.... 激发学生的学习兴趣,激活学生已有的
知识储备,借机引入story。

Step2 In-reading
1.故事的引入
听故事,整体感知,设置悬念
T:Today, I’ve a story for you. It’s about Zoom and Zip(贴Zoom and
Zip). Watch the video and choose: What time do you hear?学生看视频回答问题, 当生答出七点时,师说Any else?生答出八点时,师说T: Are they right?师评价Tick, tock an hour for you. 师指着两个表说7 o’clock.?8 o’clock ?Why? Why is the time different? 【通过观看视频,让学生在欣赏故事的同时,初步整体感知文本,设置悬念,为故事的进一步呈现和学习做好铺垫。
】
2.故事的学习
(1)故事起因的感知与品读.(picture 1) 学习wake up 和sleep.
师看着学生接着说 T: Let’s get into the story and find out, Ok?T: Look!What do you see? 生可能回答:两个表. 师指着图片上两个钟表问:What time is it? Ss: It 7:00. T: Oh, It’s time….? 生答: to get up, 或者回答for breakfast. 师用Good habit! 来做评价。
T: But Zoom is still sleeping. T: At that time, Zip comes here. PPT显现Zip走过来。
T: Zip says? Listen! PPT显现Zip说的话wake up, Zoom. It’s time to get up. 听完后,教学wake up,(1)出示cake词卡,T:Look! Can you read? (2)出示wake, T:Can you try? (3)a-e/ei/,wake,
(4) wake up 2遍。
Do you know wake up? 师板书wake up. 让生猜wake up 的含义T: What’s the meaning? Let’s see some pictures. (5) Zoom is still sleeping. Let’s wake him up, ok? 师生带着动作一起喊wake up,Zoom,wake up,Zoom。
T: What does Zoom say? Watch the video,学生回答问题,并学习句子MMM, I want to sleep.教读单词sleep,(1)跟读,sleep高低音读,师板书sleep(2)chant :Show me your hands, sleep, sleep,(拍手) I want to sleep.(3) 师示范Zoom的动作: MMM, I want to sleep. 【呈现第一幅图,根据情景体会wake up, sleep的含义,指导学生模仿人物的情感理解、读句子。
】
(2) 小组合作阅读课本 (picture2—picture4),学习I’m late for school.
T: Zoom wants to sleep. What will happen next? Does Zoom get up or sleep again? Take out your book, read picture2, 3, 4 in your groups, then talk about your answers. 学生可能回答get up。
师再问:Why does Zoom get up? 生答出: 因为八点了,上学迟到了。
师顺势教late for school。
(1),a-e /ei/ late, late, late,late for school. (2):让生猜late的含义T: What’s the meaning? (3) T: Look at Zoom’s face, he is surprised and worried. 师示范动作So he says “It’s eight o’clock(捂嘴),Oh,dear!(拍头),I’m late for school(捂胸),指2个学生模仿。
评价用Good actor。

【通过图片2-4内容的呈现及对新语言点的I’m late for school.理解和掌握,再次巩固了核心句型:What time is it? It’s…o’clock. It’s time to….同时引导学生逐幅通过听音、模仿、跟读、表演等方式体会Zip and Zoom的心理活动。
使语言学习变成一种实际需求,学生能在生动的情境中主动习得语言。

(3)故事结尾的感知与品读(Picture5, 6),学习wait 和April fool. T: Is Zoom really late? Watch the ending.看第五、六幅图片的视频,
然后展示第五、六幅图片。
T: Is Zoom really late? Ss: No! T: Why? 生答出才七点,师启发说T: Yes, It’s a little early to go to school. So Zip says: Wait! Wait! 师板书Wait!. 让生猜wait的含义T: What’s the meaning? 生答出“等等”。
Follow me, ok? 师示范Wait! Wait! Zoom, look at clock. It’s seven o’clock? April Fool师板书教读April Fool
(4)处理Why is the time different?
T: Just now, Zoom says it’s 7 o’clock. Zip says it’s 8 o’clock. Why is the time different? Can you answer now? 引出Zip change the time。
评价用clever。

(5)介绍愚人节文化
T: why does Zip change the time? 生答出因为是愚人节。
T: Yes, It’s April Fool’s Day.师贴板书April Fool. 贴主题April Fool’s Day.What’sAprilFool’s Day? Let’s watch.PPT 显示April Fool’

情感教育:You can play jokes on April Fool’Day, but not too much. 【呈现第五、六幅图,通过视听引导学生在真实的语境中理解西方April Fool的文化。
并通过师生配合表演,体会人物语气及情绪的前后变化。

1. Listen and imitate.
师指黑板板书:This is the whole story. Do you like the story? Let’s listen and imitate. PPT出示故事视频,学生跟读,必要时师范读。
2. Read in roles.
师先与一生示范表演,学生在小组内练习。
T: According to your Pronunciation, Fluency, Feelings, you can get Ok, good or super.
3. Act in roles.(教师提醒学生语调的变化以及对说话者情绪的体验。
) 指生分层表演,评价。
T: Are they ok? Good?Or super?
【通过让学生听录音模仿朗读,引导学生从模仿朗读到自主朗读,再到分角色朗读。
在促进学生深入理解故事文本的同时,训练学生的语音、语调和朗读技巧。

1. 猜测故事后续发展,Maybe the story hasn’t finished, what will happen next?师展示创作的故事后续
