Perhaps no issue in this world is as significance to students as education. Despite various responses people may have on the topic concerning the issue regarding which thing should the education aim at. I, given the chance, prefer to endorse that preparing for careers should have primary consideration. When people improve their living level, rest is more and more important to us, for example, going to museum, going to concert, and going to swim with friends. The government should give money to the public movement, but other people think the government should provide these money to museums and music center, but not to the rest things. I do not agree with this opinion. With the improvement of living quality of modern people, leisure activities become more and more important for them, such as go to the museum, concert, or go to swim with friends and so on. There is no doubt that government should give subsidies to support those public activities, but some people argue that it’s more important for the government to spend money to build art museums and music performance center than to build recreational facilities. I disagree with this opinion.improve our relation’s web. Join LinkedIn and Plaxo, and ask for advices from current and past partners. We should use Twitter to update your project, and connect with other partners. We must find the local internet groups, and join in them.Ramp up your networking. You can then create a professional-sounding email address that will encourage people to take a journey of your web site. Get a professional photograph taken. This is for your web site, your advertising, or anything else that you will be doing to promote your image as a serious professional. Order your own business cards in your name with your web site and business number. If you don’t want your cell phone ringing with business calls at work, consider a Skype In number, which will cost you just $60 a year.If you want to make a achievement, there are two parts you have to do: You must have time to make a dream, and you must make a movement. You should have time to make a visualization every day. You must think about it and make a note of them. You should make a rule that you should make some time every day to make your dream real. If you are an artist, you should make an artistic production. If you are a writer, you should write something. If you do not do any thing, the dream will never come ture. There are two halves to achieving a new reality: You must have time to dream, and you must take action. Give yourself time for creative visualization daily. Note ideas that come, and keep a record of these. Make a rule that you spend X amount of time daily taking action on your dreams. Artists produce artwork. Authors write. If you are not taking action, you will not achieve your dream. You should find another job. This is the key when you waiting in your position. When you get a positive life out of your job, it is easier to bear your job. Good life is good for keeping the ability of insight.Get a life outside of work. Roommates should share their experiences, and these will make their relationship closer. In this condition, humor is a very important quality. for example, a joke may break the silence, and make everyone very happy. Nevertheless, it would not work either if everybody just keep to themselves without communicating. It is also essential for roommates to share their experiences with one another and thus get close in their relationship. In this case, a good sense of humor can be a such a valuable quality as a single joke may break the silence and open up a nice conversation.First, recreational facilities are more important than art museums and music performance center. We believe art museums and music performance center values a lot. Confucius, greatest Chinese philosopher, said art may give more pleasure. Watching art in the art museums, and Listening the music in the music performance center can improve our spirit world. But it does not mean recreational facilities is less improtant than art museums and music performance center.Firstly, art museums and music performance center is no more important than(正话反说) recreational facilities. Admittedly, art museums and music performance is of great importance. Confucius, greatest Chinese philosopher, commented, “Art helps a person gets a better life.” To go to art museums to appreciate those art works and to go the music performance center to listen to symphony help people get improvement in mental life. But it does not mean that recreational facilities take the second place. However, There are many factors contributed to success, such as time, work hard, and luck. This list could be very long. Just as a book writed by by Bryan Tracy says that the success involves 21 pieces. If one want to make success, no matter what time it is, they must try their best at the right time, at the right position, but also with a little luck. If a person live in this society, he could not succeed without trying one’s best. However, success depends on many conditions, such as time, hard work and luck. The list goes on and on. As one of the books by Bryan Tracy says, the success consists of 21 secrets. No matter what era one is in, one has to tries one’s best to work at right time at right place with a little luck in order to succeed. If one lives today but does take action, one will end up no where(impossibly at all) certainly.Firstly, Swimming in the swimming pool and playing football on the playgrounds may give people healthy body. To be healthy, enjoying the art may offer the mental pleasure. Secondly, not every one like the art, but everybody need the exercising. The people who are not favorable of the art barely enter the art museums or music performance center. However, if government builds recreational facilities, they may give the average people a place to take exercise.Firstly, people need sturdy bodies by doing exercise, including swimming in the swimming pool and playing football on the playgrounds. To be healthy, people then can pursuit the enjoyment from the mental to appreciate art. Secondly, not all people enjoy art in fact, but all people need to do exercises. For those people who do not like art at all, they would seldom go to the art museums or music performance center. But if government builds recreational facilities, it will benefit all citizens by providing places to exercise.Furthermore, Students think that modern technology makes the information and real knowledge very easy to learn. The only thing that you need is hitting the mouse or watching videos. But, in fact, this is just the first step of learning useful information and making the effective learning. Because if you want to learn a knowledge, you should pay attention on the full concentration, but also thinking it through, but we can not find any of these in the popular e-learning. Furthermore, modern technology gives students an illusion that information and real knowledge is easy to learn – just by clicking mouse or watching videos. But in fact this forms only the first step towards useful information and effective learning, as learning of any kind requires full concentration and interactive thinking, which are almost absent in the process of popular e-learning experience.。

We are able to make use of many tools increasing productivity today. For instance, the computer plays an important role in our life in terms of efficiency. As I want to search material concerning the “nuclear energy”, all I have to do is to type this term on Google and a great number of sources will pop out on the screen. Given the past, I had to go to the library and bury me a couple of days looking for the information on nuclear energy without the assistance of computers. Overspecialization means narrow focus on which people can lose the larger picture. One can hope to understand the human body by only inspecting one’s own toe-nails. What we learn from a narrow focus may be internally logically coherent but may be irrelevant or fallacious within the framework of a broader perspective. Further, if we inspect only our toe-nails, we may conclude that the whole body is hard and white. Useful conclusion and thus perhaps useful inventions must come by sharing among specialists. Simply throwing out various discoveries means we have a pile of useless discoveries. It is only when one can make with them a mosaic that we can see that they may form a picture

Use specific reasons and details to explain your opinion.1. Media; Personal lives of famous people; Entertainment3. It could be said that having little or no privacy in one's personal life "comes with the territory" of being a famous personality.正: Much of the media, be it television, newspaper or magazines, is primarily motivated by sales and profits.正:A prime example of the media exploiting the personal life of public figure is that of the late Princess Dinana.范文:I think the media pays too much attention to the private lives of famous people. Television, newspaper magazines and web sites dig up all kinds of past bad actions and gossip. They say that these are true reflections of a person's character. This may be true if they occurred only a few years before, but some of these are things people did as teenagers. People in their forties are expected to explain something they did when they were fifteen, which is an impossible position, because everyone grows up and reflects on their foolish and childish actions from youth. If they killed someone, obviously that's more than a youthful mistake. Usually, though, these incidents involve experiments with drugs or being reckless in a car. They're not something that the public needs to know.

Task:Read the following text and listen to the lecture. Then, write an essay in which you explain how the lecture either supports, modifies, or contradicts the text. Use specific evidence from both the text and the lecture to support your analysis.Text:The primary goal of a university education is to prepare students for the workforce.Universities should focus on teaching students theskills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers.A liberal arts education is not as valuable as a vocational education because it does not provide students with the specific skills they need to get a job.Lecture:The primary goal of a university education is to prepare students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers.Universities should provide students with a broad education that will help them adapt to the changing needs of the workforce.A liberal arts education is valuable because it teaches students how to think critically, communicate effectively, and solve problems, which are skills that are essential for success in any career.Thesis Statement:While the text argues that the primary goal of a university education is to prepare students for the workforce and that a liberal arts education is not as valuable as a vocational education, the lecture modifies this view by emphasizing the importance of criticalthinking and problem solving and the value of a liberalarts education.Body Paragraph 1:Discuss the text's claim that the primary goal of a university education is to prepare students for the workforce.Explain how the lecture modifies this claim by arguing that the primary goal of a university education is to prepare students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers.Provide evidence from the lecture to support this claim.Body Paragraph 2:Discuss the text's claim that a liberal arts education is not as valuable as a vocational education.Explain how the lecture modifies this claim by arguing that a liberal arts education is valuable because it teaches students how to think critically, communicate effectively, and solve problems.Provide evidence from the lecture to support this claim. Conclusion:Summarize the main points of the essay.Restate the thesis statement.Sample Essay:Integrated Writing Task: Education for the Workforce orBeyond? The primary goal of a university education has long been debated, with some arguing that its purpose is solely to prepare students for the workforce, while others emphasize the importance of a broader education. In this essay, we will analyze a text that advocates for the former view and a lecture that modifies this perspective, highlighting the significance of critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as the value of a liberal arts education. The text maintains that the primary goal of auniversity education is to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for immediate employment. It argues that a vocational education is more valuable than a liberal arts education because it provides students with specific job-related skills. However, the lecture challenges this view, asserting that the primary goal of a university education is to cultivate critical thinkers and problem solvers. According to the lecturer, universities should provide students with a broad education that will enablethem to adapt to the constantly evolving demands of the workforce.Furthermore, the lecture refutes the text's claim that a liberal arts education is less valuable than a vocational education. The lecturer argues that a liberal arts education teaches students how to think critically, communicate effectively, and solve problems, which are essential skills for success in any career. By engaging with diverse disciplines, students develop analytical and cognitive abilities that are highly sought after by employers. In conclusion, while the text advocates for a narrow focus on workforce preparation, the lecture offers a more nuanced perspective. The lecture emphasizes the importance of critical thinking, problem solving, and a liberal arts education, arguing that these attributes are crucial for success not only in the workforce but also in life beyond it. Therefore, we can conclude that the lecture modifies the text's position by broadening the scope of a university education's purpose and highlighting the value of aholistic approach to learning.

If you could study a subject that you have never had the opportunity to study, what would you choose? Explain your choice, using specificreasons and details.Students graduating from colleges today are not fully prepared to deal with the "real world." It is my belief that college students need to be taught more skills and information to enable them to meet the challenges that face everyone in daily life. The areas in which student need training are playing the credit game, planning their personal financial strategy, and consumer awareness.Learning how to obtain and use credit is probably the most valuable knowledge a young person can have. Credit is a dangerous tool that can be of tremendous help if it is handled with caution. Having credit can enable people to obtain material necessities before they have the money to purchase them outright. But unfortunately, many, many young people get carried away with their handy plastic credit cards and awake one day to find they are in serious financial debt. Learning how to use credit properly can be a very difficult and painful lesson indeed.Of equal importance is learning how to plan a personal budget. People have to know how to control money, otherwise, it can control them. Students should leave college knowing how to allocate their money for living expenses, insurance, savings, and so forth in order to avoid the "Oh, no! I'm flat broke and I don't get paid again for two weeks!" anxiety syndrome.Along with learning about credit and personal financial planning, graduating college students should be trained as consumers. The consumer market today is flooded with a variety of products and services of varying quality and prices. A young person entering the "real world" is suddenly faced with difficultdecisions about which product to buy or whose services to engage. He is usually unaware of such things as return policies, guarantees, or repair procedures, information of this sort is vital knowledge to everyday living. For a newly graduated college student, the "real world" can be a scary place to be when he or she is faced with such issues as handling credit, planning a budget, or knowing what to look for, when making a purchase and whom to purchase it from. Entering this "real world" could be made less painful if persons were educated in dealing with these areas of daily life. What better place to accomplish this than in college?[380 Words]。

1, T o what extent do you agree (or disagree)2, How far do you agree (or disagree)3, What`s your opinion towards the statement?4, Discuss both opinions/statements (and give your own one)5, Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?discursive的四种写法:,1,单边同意一个观点2,单边反驳一个观点3,两个观点一起论述,支持观点可以多写一点(有倾向性)4,同时论证两个观点,表示中立(无倾向性)总体来说是两种大的写法,单边写和双边写,单边写就是同意不同意,双边写就是七三开和五五开。
Reason : Recorn = 6:4,

Why or why not? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. These days… To begin with, the extinction of a certain animal will seriously destroy the ecological balance which will definitely has a direct influence on us humans. Spiders, for instance, are so helpful for us that without them, we are even impossible to live in this world, for this kind of insect-eating animals can eat a large number of the insects that would devour all our crops and kill our flocks and herds without doing the least harm to us or our belongings. There are numerous examples. Even mice, which seem to have no good to us, play an important role in the food chain. From these cogent examples, we can clearly understand why endangered animals are so important to us.

SAT Official Guide Chapter 9:
You will be given 25 minutes to respond to an essay topic, also called prompt. The essay will be similar to the type of on-demand writing that is typically done in college classes and that is read by professors as a first draft. You are not expected to produce a polished piece of writing in the 25 minutes that you have to write the essay. Readers scoring the essays know that you did not have the topic ahead of time or the time to make significant revisions.
