⼀、重要句型或语法 1、名词的复数(2) 名词复数的变化规则: 1、以辅⾳字母加y结尾的单词,改y为i,再加es,如:flies, strawberries。

2、以辅⾳字母加o结尾的单词,加es,如:tomatoes, potatoes。

3、以-f或-fe结尾的单词,该-f或-fe为v,再加es,如:knives, housewives。

4、其他不规则变化,如:men, children, sheep, mice, feet等。

⼆、课⽂主要语⾔点 Come and meet our employees, Mr. Richards. “Come and meet ....”⼀般⽤于要向某⼈介绍其他⼈时。

其中,employer可以从词缀法⾓度给学⽣做解释,即employ(雇佣,使⽤)+-er(后缀,⼀般⽤来表“⼈”,表⽰“雇主、⽼板”。

How do you do? 相当于“How are you?”,但⼀般⽤于第⼀次见⾯,更为正式的⽤语,表⽰“您好!”。

hard-working 该词来源于work hard(努⼒⼯作),注意hard和working中间要⽤连字符。

What are their jobs? 在第7课已经学过单数的表达“What's your job?”,可前后做个对⽐。

They are keyboard operators. keyboard可从构词法⾓度进⾏解释,属合成法构成的单词。

operator可从词缀法⾓度进⾏解释,即是由operate(操作)+-or(⼀般⽤来表⼈)构成的。

busy 经常⽤于be busy doing的结构,表⽰“忙于...”。

sales reps sale表⽰销售,reps是representative的缩略形式,所以sales reps表⽰“销售代表”。

He's our office assistant. office表⽰办公室,assistant由assist(帮助)+-ant(...⼈)构成,表⽰助⼿。
