Starter Unit 2 What’s this in English?一、教材分析本单元的核心教学内容是“认物”。
用英语确认周围的常见事物比较符合英语初学者的实际情况。
通过本单元教学,使学生运用所学句型,去熟悉周围事物的名称;教学生学会在实际生活中如何确认事物。
通过辨认物体,学生学到一些生词,并巩固所学句型。
二、教学设计思路Starter Unit 2是Go for it! 三个预备单元中的第二个单元。
预备篇是为了使没有英语学习基础的学生更好地使用本套教材而编写的。
我们可以用手势,表情,动作等示意,帮助学生听懂课堂教学内容,但在实际操作中应尽量避免“明知故问”的倾向,应该采用应用性原则;如:遮盖物品、显露局部、图形辨认等方法。
三、教学重点1. 学习Ii --- Rr十个字母及其书写。
2. 学习身边的物品名称:map, ruler, cup, pen, orange, jacket, key, quilt3. 学习辨认物品的用语:--What’s this in English?--It’s …4. 学习拼写单词的相关句型:-- Spell it, please. / How do you spell it?/ Can you spell it?-- K-E-Y, key.5. 字母i, o在开音节和闭音节中的读音规则。

2.教师再次播放录音,学生打开书,边听边为图片编号,教师核对答案。
3.教师再次播放录音,学生根据录音内容补全3a中的单词。
4.教师与学生核对答案后,让学生朗读这八个单词。
5.教师根据活动3a的图片,与学生进行对话练习。

6.教师播放活动3c中的录音,学生跟读,教师纠正学生的发音。

9.教师呈现3e中的图片,让学生结对谈论图中的物品,然后选几组学生上台展示。
设计意图:上述活动的设计巩固了学生所学的生词及重点句型,同时也培养了学生的听力能力及口语能力。
环节3学习4a-4d
1.教师呈现字母Aa-Rr,让学生朗读,然后教师覆盖部分字母,让学生快速说出覆盖的字母。
2.让学生完成活动4a,教师核对答案。
3.教师让学生完成活动4b,然后让学生大声朗读方框中的单词。
4.教师播放活动4c的录音,学生整体感知字母A、E、I和O在不同单词中的发音。
5.教师再次播放录音,学生跟读,教师四处走动,及时帮助发音有困难的学生。
6.学生分小组合作,总结字母A、E、I和O在不同单词中不同的发音规律。
教师及时提供帮助。
7.教师复习字母A和E的发音规则,并讲解字母I和O的发音规则。
(1)A、E的发音规则
①A的发音规则:它在开音节中读/eI/。
如:cake(蛋糕)、late(迟到)、fate(命运)。
它在闭音节中读/æ/。
②E的发音规则:它在开音节中读/i/。
如:she(她)、we(我们)。
它在闭音节中读/e/。
如:egg(鸡蛋)、leg(腿)。
(2)I和O的发音规则
①I的发音规则:它在重读开音节中读/aI/。
如:like喜欢。
它在重读闭音节中读/I/。

②O的发音规则:它在重读开音节中读/əʊ/。

8.学生朗读活动4d中第一栏的字母和单词,根据字母A、E、I和O的发音规则,试着读出第二栏中的生词,教师及时提供帮助。
