Warm-up

To develop students’ ability to look up words in the dictionary. To improve the Students’ reading skills.

Step3 Lookupsomeheroes’photos,and then ask
Look up some heroes’ photos, and then ask some students to describe these heroes.
Hero:
a person, especially a man, who is admired by many people for doing so mething brave or good 英雄,豪杰
the main male character in a story 男主角
3)a person, especially a man, that you admire because of a particular quali ty or skill that they have 偶像
Step4Oralpractice:
Who is your hero? Why?
Step5Speaking&Listening.
Speaking:use the expressions just learnt to describe the heroes shown. Listening: Listen and finish ex. 3 in the book.
Find out more useful expressions to talk about heroes and underline them.
Step6Homework.
