五、教学过程：1、复习教师做几个动作，问学生What am I doing?学生使用You are…. 来回答。
2、新授（1）整体感知课文。
告诉学生Lingling is reading a letter. Let’s look and listen.请学生看与教材配套的ＶＣＤ。
再放一遍ＶＣＤ，看完Daming写的信后暂停，教师提问：Where is this letter from?What did Daming do on Saturday?学生回答后请几名学生看书读信。
再接着放ＶＣＤ，直至放完。
请学生看书，教师放录音，听照片说明，并找出Sending , shining, singing。
教师请学生再听录音并跟读。
教师提问：What are they looking at in Picture 1?What’s the weather like in Picture 2?What are the ducks doing in Picture 3?请学生读照片说明。
请学生试着自己描述每张照片。
（2）完成活动２请学生听活动２的录音。
请学生为活动２的照片写说明。
（3）完成活动４请学生看活动４的图片，生两人一组用现在进行时描述这些图片。
学生汇报，描述每一张图片。
（4）学生描述自己带来的照片。

在情景中学习单词有利于培养学生英语思维能力。在此过程中，师生通过问答的方式，启发学生，使学生尝试使用所学的语言。教师使用抢答、“开火车”的形式帮助学生理解和记忆单词，同时纠正学生不正确的读音。
本课教学我先用了多媒体课件展示，激发学生的好奇心与求知欲，教学中综合运用了讲授式、启发式、自主学习、合作学习等各种策略，指导学生进行自主探索学习。通过质疑、小组交流等环节完成教学，培养学生综合实践能力。通过不同游戏的设计，让学生在学习语言的基础上学习并掌握运用语言的能力。
２、采用这些方法的理论根据：教学的基本原则应该把学生看作有个性的学习者，教学的设计要适合学生的身心发展，要鼓励学生大胆使用英语，激发她们主动去研究自己感兴趣的问题并予以合作解决。总之，教法的设计我遵循了“教师为主导，学生为主体”的教学原则
七、教学反思
本节课重点复习学科的单词，懂得短语be worried about的应用，知道短语帮助某人做某事如何造句。教学过程中既是上新课同时也在复习旧知识，在学习中巩固知识，积累语言点。抓住重点，要点，多操练，加强记忆，达到温故知新.
本节课以激发学生的兴趣，采用活动式的教学，在课堂上营造宽松活跃的学习氛围，使学生在获得知识的过程中提高了学习能力和合作意识，陶冶了情操。在此教学过程中如果能精简一些小环节，多留一些时间进行练习的扩展，那么这节课就更完美了。
