Abstract:
This paper proposes a clinical study on the effects of carotid artery
stenting on cognitive function. With the high incidence of cardiovascular
disease, carotid artery stenosis and occlusion have become one of the
main causes of cerebrovascular disease. Carotid artery stenting is an effective method for the treatment of carotid artery stenosis and
occlusion. However, there is still considerable controversy over the
effects of carotid artery stenting on cognitive function.
The aim of this study is to explore the impact of carotid artery stenting on cognitive function and analyze its related factors. Patients who receive carotid artery stenting will be included in the study, and cognitive function evaluation tools will be used for cognitive function assessment. Clinical data collection and analysis will also be carried out.
Meanwhile, the relationship between carotid artery stenting and cognitive function will be further explored, including the impact of surgical methods and postoperative recovery.
This study has significant implications for further exploration of the effects of carotid artery stenting on cognitive function and can provide reference for medical research and clinical practice.
