⑴ The first part is the introduction of this article. It focuses on the present situation and problem of English grammar teaching in junior high school English classs and analyze these problems and the reasons for the situation.
➢ Observation:I’ll use three monthes to observe the
state of teachers and students in two classes in English grammar teaching classes in junior high school, and discuss with teachers as well as communicate with students,so I could find the key to arouse the students’ desire of learning English.
⑶ The third part is the conclusion. Through analyzing the definition of the traditional concept of grammar and teaching methods ,explaining the purpose of teaching grammar is to train students to master the language rules and the ability to use language.
The research methods
1. Questionnaires investigation method
2. Interviews 3. Observation.
Measures:
➢ Questionnaire investigation method: I will
choose 100 students at different degree in a junior high school, do questionnaire of investigating what factors influence junior high school students in English grammar learning. Therefore we could know how to improve the efficiency of English grammar teaching.
➢ Interviews:I will interview three to five teachers and
ask them how to teach English grammar lessons and what kind of difficulties they will face when they teach and how they solve these difficuties.So I can get some usefull English teaching skills to finish my study.

For that reason, I choose the thesis project to make students and teachers realize the importance of grammar and avoid teachers to separate the cultivation of students' communicative ability and grammar learning.

Reasons and Significance
As the extension and depth of English communicative method, communicative language teaching ideas has gradually been accepted by teachers. However, the grammar teaching method has been faded under the voice of cultivating students’ com municative ability in secondary school English classes. some scholars more emphasize on the importance of communicativ e language teaching method, neglecting the importance of gr ammar teaching. Besides, there is a misunderstanding of communicative language teaching for some teachers so that the teaching of English grammar can’t play its due role, which seriously affected the development of students 'English reading and writing skills and abilities of listening and speaking. It also hindered the cultivation of students selfstudy ability.
