LIU Qin WA NG Zuo-yan Department of Nosocomial Infection, Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Jingmen City,Hubei Province, Jingmen 448000, China [Abstract] Objective To investigate the awareness of safe injection and hand hygiene of medical staff in a traditional Chinese medicine hospital, and to implement the work program of the Health Bureau, "Blocking the infection of hospi鄄 tal injection and making injection safer" (2015 -2018), so as to achieve continuous improvement of safe injection. Methods A cluster sampling survey was conducted in March 2017 to investigate 678 medical staff for their knowledge of safe injection and hand hygiene, the accuracy rate was calculated and the scores of different medical departments, professions and professional titles were compared separately. Results The correct answer rate of safety injection and hand hygiene was 93.25%, and the score was statistically significant in different departments, professions and profes鄄 sional titles (P<0.05). Nurses忆 cognition score of safety injection and hand hygiene was higher than that of doctors, and the higher the professional title, the higher the score. Conclusion Medical staffs忆 awareness of safe injection and hand hygiene is different. Hospital managers should grasp the key point of safe injection and conduct personalized and tar鄄 geted training for different groups and jobs. Continuous training is very important for medical staff to keep safe injec鄄 tion behavior.
