The Birth of Jesus
The birth of Jesus is a story that has captivated the world for thousands of years. This was the birth of the baby who would grow up to become the world’s most influential figure—the man called Jesus Christ.
The story of his birth starts with Mary, a young and humble woman in a small town in Nazareth, who had been chosen by God to become the mother of his only begotten son. Mary, in her excitement and obedience, accepted at once in the humble circumstances.
God sent the angel to Mary and Joseph who, in spite of their fear of what the society may think of the relationship between them, obeyed God’s will and accepted to take caring of Mary and the baby.
The shepherds, alerted by angelic appearance, went to the stable to witness this humble birth of a special baby who would bring hope, love, and peace to mankind. That night, they kneeled down and worshipped him.
The news of Jesus’s birth spread quickly around the land, so three wise men from the East chartered their way, following the bright star that shone above Bethlehem. Respecting and praising the new-born king, they offered him gifts of gold, incense and myrrh.
The birth of Jesus was that of a regular baby in a regular family but it marked the beginning of an extraordinary lesson of humility, love and redemption to the entire world. He showed us the way to the salvation and brought the true message of God.
The story of Jesus’s birth will continue to serve as an example of pure faith, blessings,
and hope. It’s a test of true love and humble observance of the God’s will. His unquestioned faith and compliance still continue to bless us today. Amen.。
