1. Class opening
Ask 1. Do you think it is easy to make new friends?
2. What interests do your new friends have?
Give the Ss a few minutes to talk about the reason in order to start the new lesson.

Step 1: Lead in
How do you get to know a new friend? Tell us something about yourself in pairs.

Step 2: Listening
T: Listen to the tape please and find the answer of this question: Who does Danny want to interview?
Then do the exercises in Let’s Do It①!

Step 4: Language points
●1. immediately adv.立即地;马上地,相当于at once
You must go there immediately. 你必须立即去那里。
immediate adj. 立即的;直接的。
●2.glad adj. 高兴的;乐意的,相当于happy, pleased.
be glad to do sth.做某事很高兴。
I’m glad to help you with your study. 帮助你学习我很高兴。
●3. interest n.可数名词
interesting adj. 令人感兴趣的
interested adj.感兴趣的,be interested in 对……感兴趣
●4. play 指“弹奏”时,后面加the再跟乐器
play the piano/violin/guitar
play 指“踢,打……球”时,后面不加the
play football/basketball/golf/volleyball
●5. hate “不喜欢,憎恨”
反义词love,近义词dislike
用法区别:hate to do/doing sth.
dislike doing sth.
e.g. I hate to do/doing my homework.
I dislike doing my homework.
●6. either, also, too
either用于否定句句尾,前面加逗号。
too用于肯定/疑问句句尾,前面加逗号。
also用于肯定句句中,be动词/助动词/情态动词之后,行为动词之前●7. go for walks = go for a walk 散步
●8. get out of bed = get up 起床
●9. one more = another “另一个”
two more = another two “另两个”
e.g.
