My name is Lucy, and I am eight years old. I live in a small town with my family. I have a wonderful family that consists of my dad, my mom, and my younger brother, Tom. We
live in a cozy house with a beautiful garden where I love to play.
I enjoy many things, but my favorite hobby is reading. I love books about adventures and mysteries. My favorite book series is "Harry Potter." I love how Harry goes on exciting adventures with his friends. Reading takes me to magical places, and I can imagine being a wizard just like him. I
read every night before I go to sleep, and I often tell my brother stories from the books I read.
In school, I am in the third grade. My favorite subject
is science because I love learning about nature and the world. We have fun experiments in class, like growing plants and
making simple volcanoes. I also like math because I enjoy solving problems and playing with numbers. My teacher is very kind and encourages us to do our best.
Besides reading and studying, I love playing outside with my friends. We often play tag, ride our bikes, or play soccer in the park. I have a best friend named Emily. We have known each other since kindergarten. We share a lot of secrets and enjoy each other's company. We often have sleepovers at each other’s houses where we watch movies and eat popcorn.
I also love animals. My family has a pet dog named Max. He is a friendly golden retriever who loves to run and play fetch. Every day after school, I take him for a walk in the park. Max makes me very happy, and I take care of him by feeding him and brushing his fur.
On weekends, my family enjoys spending time together. Sometimes we go to the beach or have picnics in the park. We play games, make sandwiches, and enjoy each other’s company.
I love these moments with my family because they make me feel loved and cherished.
In the future, I want to be a veterinarian because I want to help animals. I would love to take care of pets and provide them with the love and care they need. I believe that all animals deserve to be healthy and happy.
