I was sitting on the couch, scrolling through my phone when I heard the front door open. I looked up and saw my little brother walking in, his backpack slung over his shoulder and a big smile on his face. "Hey, you're home!" I exclaimed, jumping up to give him a hug.
He laughed and hugged me back, saying, "Yeah, I missed you guys so much. It feels good to be back."
We sat down and chatted for a while, catching up on everything that had happened while he was away. He told me about his new friends at school and all the fun activities they did together. I could tell he was really happy to be back home with our family.
After a while, our mom called us for dinner, and we all sat down at the table together. It felt great to have my
little brother back home with us, and I knew that he was feeling the same way too.
