My Travel English Composition on May Day Holiday
May Day holiday is a golden time for many people to relax and enjoy a short vacation. This year, my family and I decided to travel to the beautiful coastal city of Phuket in Thailand. It was our first time visiting this tropical paradise, and we were all excited about the upcoming adventure.
We arrived in Phuket early in the morning and checked into our hotel, which was located right on the beach. During our stay in Phuket, we visited several famous landmarks such as the Big Buddha, Wat Chalong Temple, and the Old Phuket Town. We also took a day trip to the nearby Phi Phi Islands, where we went snorkeling and explored the stunning limestone cliffs and crystal-clear waters.
One of the highlights of our trip was the elephant trekking experience we had in the lush jungles of Phuket. Riding on the back of an elephant through the dense forest was truly exhilarating, and we felt a deep connection with these majestic animals.
In the evenings, we sampled delicious Thai cuisine at the local restaurants and watched traditional Thai dance performances. We also indulged in some shopping at the night markets, where we bought handmade crafts and souvenirs to bring back home.

The May Day holiday is a wonderful time for people to relax and travel. This year, I decided to take advantage of the long weekend to go on a trip with my friends. We chose to visit a beautiful seaside town called Qingdao.
On the first day of our trip, we arrived in Qingdao and checked into our hotel. The weather was perfect, with clear blue skies and a gentle sea breeze. We immediately headed to the beach to enjoy the sunshine and dip our toes in the cool water. The beach was crowded with people, but we found a spot to lay out our towels and relax.
After spending the morning at the beach, we decided to explore the town. Qingdao is famous for its seafood, so we decided to have lunch at a local seafood restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes, including steamed crabs, grilled shrimp, and fried fish. The food was delicious, and we all enjoyed trying new and different seafood dishes.
In the afternoon, we visited the famous Qingdao Beer Museum. Qingdao is home to Tsingtao Brewery, one of the oldest breweries in China. We learned about the history of beer
making in Qingdao and even had the chance to sample some fresh Tsingtao beer. It was a fun and educational experience, and we all enjoyed trying different types of beer.
