Personally, I think tipping culture can be a bit confusing, especially when traveling to different countries.
I remember when I visited Japan for the first time, I had to remind myself not to tip because it's not part of their culture. On the other hand, when I'm in the US, I always make sure to leave a tip because it's expected and it's a way to show appreciation for good service.
