(1)look out语气最强,用于某种紧急的情况或者可能出现危险的场合,特别是当你已经看到有事发生,比如车要撞过来了,情况紧急,你可以大喊:Look out!Look out for the rock in the river.当心河里的石头。

(2)take care语气不那么强,多用于对可能出现的不测作出预测的提醒或警告;take care后还可接动词不定式(短语)或that从句,从句谓语动词用一般现在时。

(1).描述某人

(2)表示听见某人在做某事
Suddenly, he heard someone shouting“Fire! Fire! Help!”

(3)表示有时间做某事

但是我没有时间去想。
(4)推荐某人

三、语法知识点讲解
情态动词can、could、may没有人称和数的变化,虽有词义但不完整,不能单独作谓语,必须和动词原形连用,才能表达完整的意思。
(一)can 和could的用法
1.can表示能力,意思是“能,会”。
后面直接跟动词原形,用于一切人称和数。
Can的否定式为can not,缩写为can’t。
过去式为could.
如:I can sing in English now.
我现在会用英语唱歌了。
We can speak much English now, but we couldn’t one year ago.
我们现在能讲英语了,但是一年前不会。
2.表示客观可能性,意思是“可能”。
如:Millie can be well again.
米莉可能已经恢复健康了。
She can’t be in the classroom. She is in my room now.
她不可能在教室里,她现在在我的房间里。
3.表示许可,意思是“可以”
如:You can watch TV after supper.
晚饭后你可以看电视。
You can stay here for another six weeks.
你可以再在这儿呆六个星期。
4.表示请求,意思是“可以”。
在这种语境下,使用could比can语气更委婉客气。
Could此时和can没有时间上的差别,用于疑问句,不用于肯定句,回答时要改用can。
如:---Could I go shopping with you?
---Yes, I can.
5.can, could只用在现在时和过去时两种时态中,其他时态用be able to来代替。
如:Will you be able to help me with my English next year?
(2)may的用法
1.表示许可或征求对方的许可,有“可以”的意思
如:It’s already six. You may go now.
May I use your computer?
2.回答以may开头的疑问句有如下表达法:
---May I smoke here?
---Yes, you may./ Yes, please.
---No, you can’t./No, you mustn’t.
以What引导的感叹句
1. 可用句型:“ What + a/an +形容词+可数名词单数+主语+谓语!”。
如:
What a nice present it is! 它是一件多么好的礼物啊!
What an interesting book it is! 它是一本多么有趣的书啊!
2. 可用句型:“ What +形容词+可数名词复数+主语+谓语!”。
如:What beautiful flowers they are! 多么漂亮的花啊!
What good children they are! 他们是多么好的孩子啊!
3. 可用句型:“ What +形容词+不可数名词+主语+谓语!”。
如:What fine weather it is today! 今天天气多好啊!
What important news it is! 多重要的新闻啊!
由how 引导的感叹句,其句子结构也分为三种:
1. 可用句型:“ How +形容词/ 副词+主语+谓语!”。
如:
How careful she is! 她多么细心啊!
How fast he runs! 他跑得多快啊!
2. 可用句型:“ How +形容词+a/an +可数名词单数+主语+谓语!”。
如:
How beautiful a girl she is! 她是个多么漂亮的姑娘啊!
3. 可用句型:“ How +主语+谓语!”。
如:
How time flies! 光阴似箭!
由what 引导的感叹句与由how 引导的感叹句有时可以转换,但句中部分单词的顺序要有所变化。
如:
How beautiful a girl she is! =What a beautiful girl she is!
What delicious cakes these are! =How delicious these cakes are。
