1.My school is Greenwood Middle School.我的学校是格林伍德中学。
in the middle 意为“在中间”,in the middle of……“在….中间”
Eg.Jim sits in the middle of the classroom.吉姆坐在教室中间。
2.There are 400 students in my school.我校有400名学生。
there be 句型,表示某地有某人或某物。
Eg.There is a bird in the tree.
3.I play the guitar!我弹吉他!
play the guitar.
play在表示“弹奏”时为及物动词,在表示西洋乐器的名词前要加定冠词the; play在表示“踢、打(球)”时也是及物动词,表示球类的名词前不加任何冠词。
4.But sometimes we play on our own.但是有时我们独立弹奏。
on one’s own意为“独立地”,在句中做状语。
Eg.He is living on his own.
5.常见的频度副词有以下这些:always,usually,often,sometimes, seldom和never
都是用来表示时间的频度副词,但它们所表示的动作频率不同.
通常说来,always表示100%,usually表示80%,often表示60%,sometimes表示40%,seldom表示20%,never表示0%.
6.频度副词的位置:
a.放在连系动词、助动词或情态动词后面。
如:David is often late for school. 大卫上学经常迟到。
b.放在行为动词前。
如:We usually go to school at 7:10 every day. 我们每天经常在7:10去上学。
c.有些频度副词可放在句首或句尾,用来表示强调。
