大学生面临的主要安全威胁英语作文

大学生面临的主要安全威胁英语作文

大学生面临的主要安全威胁英语作文The Big Bad Dangers for College KidsHey there, little dudes and dudettes! Today we're gonna talk about something super important that all the big kids in college have to deal with - staying safe from bad stuff. You might be thinking, "But colleges are just schools, what could possibly go wrong?" Well, let me tell ya, when you get to be a grown-up student, there are all sorts of creepy crawlies and scary situations that can mess with your good times. One of the biggest worries for college kids is getting their bright minds all muddled up by saying "yes" to bad things like drugs, smoking, or drinking too much alcohol. These no-no substances can make you feel woozy, say silly stuff you'll regret, or even get really sick. And they're definitely not good brain food for acing those tough tests!Speaking of icky stuff, colleges can also be a playground for germs and icky bugs that cause colds, flu, and other grossness. With so many people hanging out together, sharing dorm rooms and bathrooms, it's really easy for those pesky viruses to spread like wildfire. So college students have to be super sanitizedsuperheroes, washing their hands like crazy and getting their flu shots. Now, this next one is really scary - there are some real meanies out there who might try to hurt or take advantage of college kids, especially kids who are all alone for the first time without their parents or family around. These creeps could be potential rapists, robbers, or abusers who prey on young people. It's so important for college guys and gals to always be aware of their surroundings, never walk alone at night, and learnself-defense moves to fend off any baddies.Another danger that can really mess up a college experience is getting mixed up with some shady characters. I'm talking about gangs, weird cult groups, or people involved in illegal activities like selling drugs or stealing stuff. These troublemakers can suck you into a world of big trouble that could ruin your life forever! The best thing to do is hang out with a good crowd, be a positive leader, and just say "NO" to anyone sketchy.Money problems are another huge headache that plagues lots of college students. With tuition fees, textbooks, food, housing and everything else, it's so easy to blow through your cash and end up broke as a joke. Some students get in over their heads with credit card debt or turn to cheating or stealing just toget by. But those choices can lead down a slippery slope of chaos! Budgeting, working a part-time job, and applying for scholarships and financial aid are much better ways for college kids to keep their finances in order.Phew, with all those crazy risks, you might be wondering why anyone would want to go to college at all! Well, here's the thing - college is an amazing time to learn tons of incredible things, make lifelong friends, and get prepared for an awesome future career. As long as students are smart, stay aware of the dangers, and make good choices, they can totally have an amazing, safe, and successful college experience. The most important things to remember are: Don't do drugs, don't drink too much, avoid creepy people, be careful with money, and always, always look out for your friends. With street smarts, self-confidence, and your own personal safety team of good pals, you can outsmart any of those big bad dangers and focus on learning and growing into an incredible human! So dream big, study hard, and get ready - because your college adventures are just around the corner! Stay safe, nerds!。

1.如何做⼀名优秀的学⽣英语作⽂ My first experience of life is like a journey. Everyone will go through many things: swimming for the first time, cooking for the first time, going to primary school for the first time, solving problems by myself for the first time... What impresses me most is when I scored 79 on my first political test. With the advent of junior high school, the life of seven students is very tense and relaxed. In seven, my political scores were very good, and I scored more than 90 points in each exam. I'm proud. It's seven, and I'm even more nervous about my study. I concentrated on reviewing other subjects, but ignored politics. The teacher's unit test, I only tested more than 80, I didn't take it to heart, thought it was a malfunction. As a result, the subsequent monthly exam completely broke my confidence and luck. In that exam, I only got 79 points in politics! This is my lowest score. I looked at the test paper unbelievably and counted the scores again and again to see if there was any mistake. But the facts proved that all I did was futile. This bright score was like a blow to my head, and my mood fell to the bottom. I was very upset and found that it was all because of my pride and fluke. I'm determined to change all this and don't want to go down again. After that, I listened carefully and took notes in class. Review, the back of the back, not a leak. Finally, the end of the term arrived, and I walked into the examination room with full confidence. In the end, my political score was 95. My high score is back! However, this time I understand that we should not be proud, but continue to work hard!2.如何做⼀名优秀的学⽣英语作⽂ There are many firsts in life, one by one, like a star. They decorate the monotonous night sky very beautiful. It is because of their participation that our life becomes rich and colorful, full and beautiful. That was my first speech on the stage. When I came to think about it and finally chose me, my heart almost jumped out of my chest. My God? This is both a surprise and a big challenge for me! My grades are mediocre and there is nothing worth praising. I think: instead of losing face on the stage, it's better to give the opportunity to those students with excellent results and generous behavior. Therefore, I summoned up the courage to give the opportunity to others before the speech contest had determined a good time. I came to the teacher's office, explained to the teacher that my ability was not competent for this matter, and recommended several students to the teacher. Before I finished, the teacher said to me: "It doesn't matter whether you can win the championship or not. The important thing is that you can get experience in this speech conference. I don't want good students to do what they can and blindly do such things again. It's difficult for them to make great development. In this way, it's better to give you the opportunity. I hope you can work hard to make yourself develop greatly and win honor for the class." Look at the eager eyes of the teacher. I can't refuse any more. In order to win the championship, I recite the speech over and over again. I won't tolerate it until it reaches my satisfaction, because the opportunity to show myself is coming! Every night, I have to recite it three or four times. The speech is like a part of my life, and the content has already been engraved in my mind. I believe I won't forget it in three or four years. The rest is waiting for the opportunity. The speech conference is coming! I walked onto the stage trembling. After all, it was the first time. My legs shook involuntarily like chaff. The teacher stood on the stage and looked at me with affirmation and encouragement. On the contrary, the judge's teacher's stern eyes could see through people. My courage disappeared in an instant, my hands and feet were cold, and my heart pounded like a little rabbit At the beginning, my voice was weak, and I didn't have the courage to make a speech, which made the judge teacher frown. However, the teacher always firmly believed in me. Somehow, I always felt a force pouring into my heart, and my heart was as calm as the water, as if there was nothing around, just me and the speech. My voice changed I was shocked by the strength and boldness of vision. Finally, I succeeded. Looking at the surprised eyes of my classmates and the praise of my teachers, I stepped down with honor Through this experience, I understand a truth: in fact, there is nothing you can't do in the world. As long as you dare to break through and insist, you will gain something!3.如何做⼀名优秀的学⽣英语作⽂ In a hurry, six years passed in the twinkling of an eye. Although the time of primary school is short, it is very beautiful. There are gains and lessons, joy and pain. We will leave our alma mater and enter middle school soon, but how I want to be a primary school student again. If I can be a primary school student again, I will abide by the teacher's instructions and live up to my parents'expectations. In class, I will concentrate on listening to the teacher. I won't make small moves or talk in class. I will use my limited time to learn, gain more knowledge and help more people in need. I will also be a primary school student who loves the collective, loves his classmates and is willing to help others. If I could be a primary school student again, I would love the environment. Protect every plant in the campus, don't Scribble on the wall, don't touch the clean wall with my dirty hands, don't take the lives of grass and flowers, and don't throw peel and paper scraps. I will also cherish water resources, not waste every drop of water, and make our home and school better. If I can be a primary school student again, I will get rid of the bad habit of carelessness. In the past, I always reviewed my lessons and didn't take the examination seriously, resulting in carelessness, so that the wrong questions in the examination were always loopholes, which not only made me very frustrated, but also frustrated my self-confidence. So I made up my mind to get rid of the bad habit of carelessness and be a careful person in life. How I want to be a primary school student again, cherish every minute at that time, constantly enrich and improve ourselves, our childhood will be like colorful soap bubbles, carrying our dreams farther and farther!4.如何做⼀名优秀的学⽣英语作⽂ Time flies like a shuttle. We walked into the school gate in the warm sunshine and began a new journey. Behind us are the expectations of parents and teachers. We should work harder and strive to live up to the expectations of parents and teachers. If we want to be a qualified middle school student, I would like to propose: First of all, we should abide by school rules, middle school students' rules, middle school students' etiquette and so on. To be a qualified middle school student, we should have good conduct, use reasonable learning methods and formulate reasonable work and rest time; In life, we should also pay attention to personal and collective health, and create a good learning environment for ourselves and everyone. In our daily communication with others, we should be polite and be civilized middle school students; In normal speaking, pay attention to polite language, pay attention to occasions, have a friendly attitude and speak Mandarin. Do not enter other people's rooms without permission, use other people's articles, and do not read other people's letters and diaries. Do not interrupt others at will, and do not disturb others' study and rest. Stand up to pay tribute to the teacher at the beginning and end of class. After class, please ask the teacher to go first. Salute and say hello when you see the teacher or elders, stand up when you answer the teacher's questions, and be sincere when you give advice to the teacher Shouldn't we, as a qualified middle school student, take the initiative to do these in these details?5.如何做⼀名优秀的学⽣英语作⽂ Some students may be surprised. What can we talk about how to be a student? Carrying a schoolbag to school is not a student? Yes, but it's not so easy to be a really qualified student. What I want to talk about here is to be a qualified middle school student. A qualified student should be a student of good conduct. Good conduct means that he must be a person with noble moral sentiment, positive and enterprising, a person with code of conduct and full of ideals. Hugo, a famous French writer, said: the broadest in the world is the ocean. What is broader than the ocean is the sky, and what is broader than the sky is the human mind. A loving person will never feel lonely in life. Start by loving the plants and trees around you and love all the good things in life. Knowing how to cherish is also an important sign of qualified middle school students. How often we are in the midst of happiness, that is to say, we do not cherish that happiness. Here, I will try my best to appeal to all the students with a weak voice: cherish our golden years! Don't take it easy, white young head, empty sad; Please cherish all the beautiful things we have! In this way, we will gradually become better. Students, with the rising sun in the first round of the new semester, each of us has opened a new page in the course of life. Thinking about the past, we have made too many mistakes and missed too much. Then, let the poetry of the great poet Tagore wake up our hope. I have missed the sun, but do not cry, otherwise I will miss the stars and the moon. Dear students: raise your smiling face and leave your shadow behind!6.如何做⼀名优秀的学⽣英语作⽂ If primary school life is the first step in life, secondary school is the most difficult and beautiful step in life. All the habits, whether the life is good or not, are decided in these six years. Many children swear to themselves when they enter middle school that they must be admitted to a famous university in the future. But not many succeeded in the end. If you want to get close to your dream, the first step is to think about how to be a qualified middle school student. Many successful people recalltheir school days, and most of them are learning. As the saying goes, as long as you have deep Kung Fu, an iron pestle can be ground into a needle. If we can arrange our time reasonably, we can get twice the result with half the effort. Therefore, we must first have a clear idea of the studies we will face in the future, so that we can not be arrogant and discouraged in our study and life, and pave the way for being a qualified middle school student. The second is the promotion of thought and morality. We pay little attention to details in life. In fact, many things are details that determine success or failure. Sometimes we are curious and want to see what is written in other people's diaries, so the level of quality is reflected; Sometimes, we are selfish, so we break away from the collective and act alone; Sometimes, we forget the details and give in to our habits, so the road we tread is full of broken flowers There are a lot of problems sometimes, which are caused by not paying attention to details and habits. Now that we have entered middle school and become a middle school student, we should ask ourselves higher and stricter. In life, we should work hard, strive for, let go of what we want, overcome difficulties, overcome disasters, be able to self-esteem, self love and self-improvement at any time, and drive away the haze of life with a smile. See the teacher, can also be polite, affectionately call the teacher good; If you see paper scraps, you can bend down and pick them up; If you see people who have difficulty moving, you can come forward to help These are the improvement of their own quality; All these are the foundation for being a qualified middle school student. Being a qualified middle school student includes a lot of things. I will use my most clean and beautiful youth to interpret the meaning of middle school students.7.如何做⼀名优秀的学⽣英语作⽂ The drizzling rain accompanied us to wake up. The flustered morning is the most true portrayal of middle school students. What do we want in exchange for our classes, lectures and homework day after day? Just the last good job? No, at least our efforts will get a little sense of achievement at the bottom of our hearts. At the same time, it is also the best way to repay our parents. I believe every child will be a little relieved when he sees the happy smiling face of his parents, won't he? Once we were at a loss and lost, but we all stepped into the middle school classroom step by step. We have grown up, not the childish child. We should understand the truth and distinguish right from wrong. 学生是否应该做家务的英语作文初二

学生是否应该做家务的英语作文初二

学生是否应该做家务的英语作文初二全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Should Students Do Household Chores? An Essay by a Middle SchoolerHey guys! Today I want to talk about something that's been on my mind a lot lately - whether kids like me should have to do chores around the house or not. It's kind of a big deal and I've got some thoughts to share!First off, let me just say that doing chores can be really annoying sometimes. I mean, who actually enjoys cleaning their room, taking out the trash, or washing a ton of dishes? Not me, that's for sure! Chores take up time that I could be spending on way more fun stuff like playing video games, watching YouTubers, or hanging out with friends. Life is already super busy with school, homework, extracurriculars, and all that jazz. Adding chores on top of everything else can feel like a total drag. But here's the thing - even though chores aren't exactly exciting, I actually do think it's important for kids to have certain responsibilities at home. Why? Well, for one thing, helping outteaches useful skills that'll come in handy later on. Doing laundry, cooking simple meals, cleaning up after myself - those are all abilities I'm going to need way more as I get older and maybe even live on my own someday. Chores give me a chance to practice that stuff in a lower stakes environment.Doing chores can also help build up positive character traits. When I resist the urge to slack off and instead power through folding my laundry or whatever, it's teaching me discipline and perseverance. Taking pride in a job well done around the house can give me a sense of responsibility too. Those are all good qualities that'll help me out not just at home, but at school, work, and all areas of life in the future.Plus, pitching in at home is a way to contribute to my family and show that I appreciate all the effort my parents put into making our household function. My parents work really hard, so if I can take a few chores off their plate, I'm happy to do it as a way of giving back and not just acting like a freeloader. At the end of the day, we're all part of the same family unit. Now, that's not to say kids should be expected to do everything around the house or take on responsibilities that are too advanced for their age. Parents need to be reasonable and not go overboard with piling on chores. But having a fewage-appropriate tasks to handle can go a long way. It's all about finding a balanced approach.Speaking of balance, I also think it's crucial for parents to make sure their kids still have plenty of free time, space to be kids, and opportunities to pursue their interests and just have fun. Going overboard on chores to the point where kids are overwhelmed or miss out on being able to explore activities they're passionate about defeats the whole purpose. There needs to be room for school, fun, relaxation, and chores - not an unhealthy obsession with cleaning and chores above all else.Overall, while doing chores will never be my number one favorite thing, I've come to understand how it is beneficial and even necessary. It's preparing me for adulthood, helping me build good habits, letting me contribute to my family, and preventing me from just sitting around playing video games24/7 (as amazingly fun as that would be). Chores aren't the enemy, they're a part of life that teach important lessons. So to all my fellow kids out there - yes, chores can be a total pain sometimes. But looking at the bigger picture, they're actually a pretty good thing that'll pay major dividends down the road. Do I wish I could snap my fingers and have a Clean-o-Matic robot do all my chores for me? Absolutely. But until that happens,I'll keep on keeping on with my regular tasks at home. Maybe I'll even try to have a little bit of fun with them by blasting my favorite music or seeing how fast I can get them done. Chores don't have to be miserable if you make a game of it!At the end of the day, doing chores is just part of being a responsible human being. So let's all put on our rubber gloves (because hygiene, am I right?) and get stuff done around the house. Our families and our future selves will thank us!篇2Should Students Do Chores? An Essay by a 7th GraderHey guys! Today I want to talk to you about a super important topic - whether kids our age should have to do chores around the house or not. It's something pretty much every middle schooler has opinions about, because let's be real, none of us loves taking out the trash or washing dishes. But there are actually some good reasons why our parents make us pitch in with the housework. Let me break it down for you!First off, doing chores teaches us responsibility. I know, I know, that's what all the grown-ups say. But think about it - if we don't learn how to do basic things like cleaning, laundry, and cooking when we're young, how are we gonna survive whenwe're adults and our parents aren't around to do everything for us? Wouldn't it be way harder to figure out how to be a responsible adult if we never had any practice as kids? Chores might be a drag, but they're getting us ready for the real world.Speaking of the real world, doing chores also gives us some super useful life skills. Knowing how to cook basic meals, keep a living space clean and organized, and do laundry without turning everything pink are abilities that will come in so handy when we're older. I have friends whose parents do literally everything for them, and I can't even imagine how lost they'll be when they go to college or get their own place. I might complain about vacuuming now, but I'd way rather learn how to take care of myself instead of being completely clueless. But chores aren't just about learning skills for later on - they can teach us discipline and responsibility right now too. Having regular chores gets us into good habits and makes sure we keep up with our responsibilities instead of slacking off. It's kind of like homework - nobody loves it, but it builds good study habits and keeps us from falling behind. I definitely don't love doing the dishes after dinner, but having that expectation means I don't just leave gross plates sitting around forever.Okay, I know despite all those good reasons, a lot of you are still probably thinking "But chores take up so much time! I'm too busy with homework, sports, my social life, etc." That's a fair point - our schedules are super packed already. But doingsomechores really doesn't take up that much time, especially if the whole family pitches in and splits up the work. Like if each kid in the house did one small chore a day, that's really not a huge amount of effort. And think about how much harder your parents would have to work if they had to do absolutely everything! They work hard at their jobs all day and then come home and do all the cooking, cleaning, yardwork, etc. on top of it - that's exhausting! By doing chores, we're helping to share the workload and making life easier for our families.I get that some kids have way more responsibilities than others though. If your parents both work super long hours and you're looking after younger siblings, doing tons of chores on top of that does seem pretty unfair. But even little kids can help out around the house in small ways, like picking up their toys or making their bed, to start building those skills early. The expectations should be realistic based on each kid's situation.Another counter-argument I've heard is "Well I didn't choose to be born, so why should I have to do chores? My parents decided to have me." This is a deeper philosophical question for sure, but here's my take: We're part of a family unit, and in any kind of team situation, everyone has to contribute for it to work. Your parents may have chosen to have you, but you choose every day to be part of the family by living under their roof and having them provide for you. Doing age-appropriate chores is a small way to pull your weight and contribute to the household. You'll get plenty of choices about how you want to live when you're a grown-up out on your own!At the end of the day, doing chores is just part of being a responsible member of a family. It's really not that much work, especially when divided up, and it teaches us so many valuable skills for the future. Yeah, chores can be annoying and tedious, but look at all the benefits:Developing essential life skills like cooking, cleaning, and time managementBuilding discipline, responsibility, and good habitsSharing the workload so no one gets overloadedPulling our weight and contributing to the familyPreparing to be self-sufficient adultsSo next time you're grumbling about taking out the trash or dusting the living room, think about all the ways those simple tasks are helping you become a capable, responsible, and independent person. Our childhood years are the perfect time to learn all those crucial adulting skills through chores. We've got it so much easier than our parents did at our age - a few chores really isn't too much to ask! Just my two cents. Let me know what you guys think!篇3Should Students Do Chores? Heck Yeah!Hey guys, what's up? Today I'm gonna share my thoughts on an important issue – whether students like us should do chores at home. I know, I know, the topic sounds like a total snooze-fest. But hear me out, because this is actually pretty important stuff!First off, let's get one thing straight: chores are NOT torture devices designed by evil parents to ruin our lives. Shocking, right?I know a lot of you probably think chores are just punishments for existing, but that's not true at all. Doing chores teaches us valuable life skills and helps us become more responsible individuals.Think about it – if we never learn how to do basic things like cleaning, laundry, and cooking, how are we gonna survive when we move out and live on our own? Our parents won't be there forever to do everything for us. Unless you plan on becoming a millionaire who can afford a personal chef, maid, and butler, you're gonna have to learn this stuff eventually. Wouldn't you rather start practicing now while you still have your parents around to guide you?Speaking of parents, they could definitely use a hand around the house. They work hard all day to provide for the family, so the least we can do is pitch in a little with the housework. It's not fair for them to have to come home from a long day at the office or job site only to be faced with a massive mess and a million chores. If we all took care of a few simple tasks, it would make their lives so much easier.Plus, doing chores gives you a sense of accomplishment and responsibility. There's nothing quite like the feeling of looking around at a freshly cleaned room and knowing you did that all by yourself. It's empowering! And when you have certain chores that are YOUR job, it helps build self-discipline and time management skills. No more leaving everything until the lastminute – those dishes Need to be done by dinnertime, so you learn to plan accordingly.I know what some of you are thinking: "But Matt, I'm just a kid! I have SOO much homework and activities, where am I supposed to find time for chores too??" That's a fair point, our schedules are pretty insane. But doing chores really doesn't take that much time, especially if the whole family gets involved. If everybody pitches in for 30 minutes after dinner, think how quickly those major tasks like loading the dishwasher, taking out the trash, and doing a quick vacuum could get done. Then maybe take 10-15 minutes in the morning to make your bed, tidy your room, and pack your backpack for the day. Honestly, once you get into the groove of a chores routine, you'll barely even notice the time it takes. Now, I'm not saying kids should be made into Cinderellas, scrubbing floors and doing backbreaking labor from dawn until dusk. That's going way too far in the other direction. I'm just saying we should all take on a couple of reasonable,age-appropriate chores to help out around the house. It's not that big of a deal, and the benefits way outweigh the tiny inconvenience. In fact, researchers have found that involving kids in household tasks can lead to higher self-esteem, better time management skills, and even improved academic performance. When you feel capable and in control of certain responsibilities, it breeds a positive attitude that carries over into other areas of life, including school. So in a way, doing chores could actually help us get better grades! Who knew, right? At the end of the day, doing chores is just part of being a member of a family. It's all about pitching in, working together, and sharing responsibilities. It's really no different than team sports or group projects we have to do for school – nobody likes having all the work put onto just one person. Better to share the load and tackle it together! Our families are like little teams, and we've got to do our part as teammates to make sure the household runs smoothly. Getting good at chores now will make us slam-dunk roommates later too. Nobody wants to live with a messyperson who never cleans up after themselves. So instead of griping about having to take out the trash or unload the dishwasher, we should all change our mindset. Think of chores as valuable learning opportunities to gain key life skills and experience what it's like to be a contributing member of ateam....our family team! If we all take on a couple reasonable tasks that our parents guide us through, it lightens the load for everyone and creates a happier, more balanced home environment.Getting assigned chores isn't a punishment – it's a privilege! It means our parents trust us with important responsibilities and think we're mature enough to handle them. Don't let them down, guys. Step up, take charge of your domain, and get those chores done with a smile (or at least without too many complaints). You'll be grateful for the experience once you've moved out and have to fend for yourself. Trust me!Alright, I'll quit rambling now. Thanks for hearing me out on this one. I know chores may seem like the last thing you want to add to your crazy schedule. But I promise the benefits wayoutweigh the effort of washing a couple dishes or taking out the recycling. It's all about pitching in, gaining essential life skills, and being part of a family team. We got this!篇4Doing Chores: A Big Deal or No Big Deal?Hey there, friends! It's me, your pal Johnny, here to talk about something that's been on my mind a lot lately: chores. Yep,you heard me right – those pesky little tasks that our parents are always nagging us to do, like cleaning our rooms, taking out the trash, and doing the dishes. Ugh, just thinking about it makes me want to groan! But wait, before you start rolling your eyes and tuning me out, hear me out. I know chores can be a real pain, but I've been thinking a lot about whether they're actually a good thing for us students to do or not. And you know what? I'm starting to think that maybe, just maybe, they're not so bad after all. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Johnny, have you gone totally crazy? Chores are the worst!" And trust me, I get it. Believe me, I'd much rather be playing video games or hanging out with my friends than scrubbing the bathroom or folding laundry. But here's the thing: doing chores can actually teach us some really important life skills that we'll need as we get older.Think about it – when we do chores, we're learning how to be responsible and take care of ourselves. We're learning how to manage our time and prioritize tasks, which is going to be super important when we're in high school or college and have a million different assignments and activities to juggle. And let's not forget about the practical skills we're picking up, like how tocook, clean, and do laundry – things that we'll definitely need to know how to do when we're living on our own one day.Plus, doing chores can actually be a great way to bond with our families. Sure, it might not seem like it when we're arguing over who has to take out the trash or load the dishwasher, but working together on household tasks can bring us closer and make us feel like we're part of a team. And let's be real, our parents could probably use a little help around the house every now and then, right? But wait, there's more! Believe it or not, doing chores can also be good for our mental health. Studies have shown that having regular responsibilities and feeling like we're contributing to something bigger than ourselves can actually boost ourself-esteem and sense of purpose. And let's be honest, there's a certain sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with completing a task, even if it's just making our beds or sweeping the floor. Now, I'm not saying that we should all becomechore-obsessed robots or anything. Of course, it's important to have a balance and make sure we're still leaving plenty of time for fun, relaxation, and just being kids. But what I am saying isthat maybe, just maybe, doing a few chores here and there isn't the end of the world. In fact, it might even be good for us in the long run. So the next time your parents ask you to pitch in around the house, try not to groan too loudly. Instead, think of it as an opportunity to learn some valuable life skills, bond with your family, and maybe even boost your mood a little bit.Who knows, you might even start to enjoy it (or at least tolerate it a little more). And hey, if all else fails, just remember: the sooner you get your chores done, the sooner you can get back to the really important stuff – like playing video games and hanging out with your friends! So there you have it, my two cents on the great chore debate. What do you think? Are chores a total drag or a necessary evil? Let me know your thoughts! And remember, whether you're doing dishes or taking out the trash, just try to have a little fun with it. After all, life's too short to spend all your time grumbling about chores, am I right?篇5Should Kids Have to Do Chores? An Essay by A Super Smart KidDoing chores is sooooo boring! My mom is always nagging me to clean my room, load the dishwasher, and help around the house. But I'm just a kid! Isn't that what parents are for? To do all the work while us kids have fun and play video games? I think chores are totally unfair and kids shouldn't have to do them. Here's why:First of all, being a kid is already hard work. We have to go to school for like 8 hours every day and learn all kinds of stuff like math, science, reading, and more. It's really tiring! By the time we get home, we're exhausted. The last thing we want is more work to do around the house. Kids need time to rest, play, and be kids! Forcing us to do chores is just adding more stress to our already busy kid lives. No fair!Secondly, doing chores takes away from important kid activities like watching TV, playing games, seeing friends, and just hanging out. Those things are way more fun than stupid chores like vacuuming or folding laundry. If I have to spend hours every week on chores, that's hours I can't spend doing stuff I actually enjoy as a kid. Childhood is supposed to be fun and carefree, not full of grown-up responsibilities. We have our whole lives to do boring housework as adults.Another reason kids shouldn't have chores is that we're just gonna mess things up anyway. Have you ever seen a kid's room? It's always a total disaster zone. We're just naturally messy. So what's the point in making us clean or tidy things up if we know we're just gonna trash the place again in a couple days? It's a waste of time and effort better spent on fun stuff.Plus, doing chores can actually be dangerous for kids. What if we break something or hurt ourselves lifting heavy objects? What if we accidentally start a fire while trying to cook dinner? There's all sorts of risks involved with kids doing chores. It's much safer to leave all that grown-up stuff to the adults who actually know what they're doing.Speaking of adults, don't our parents have something called "responsibilities"? Isn't taking care of the housework and chores part of being a parent? That's their job, not ours! We're just innocent little children. We shouldn't have to worry about doing laundry, washing dishes, or any of that boring stuff. Moms and dads chose to be adults and have kids, so they should be the ones handling all the household duties and chores. Not us!Instead of making us do chores, parents should focus on more important things for kids like making sure we get enough playtime, snacks, video games, and fun. Being a kid is toughenough with all the school and homework we have to do. We need time to just be carefree and enjoy our childhoods. That's what being a kid is all about! Adding a bunch of boring chores and housework into the mix is pretty much child cruelty if you ask me.So in conclusion, kids definitely should NOT have to do any chores whatsoever. We're just little kids! We have enough to deal with already like school, homework, friends, and all the other stuff that comes with being a carefree child. Having to take on household responsibilities and chores is way too much for our young, fun-loving minds and bodies. That's grown-up stuff that our parents signed up for, not us innocent kids. Let us be kids while we can by eliminating chores, finally giving us the easy, stress-free childhoods we deserve!。

学生沉迷于电脑游戏的建议英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Video Game Addiction: A Student's PerspectiveHey there, fellow students! I'm here to talk to you about something that's become a growing issue for many of us – video game addiction. Believe me, I know how easy it is to get hooked on these games. The adrenaline rush, the sense of accomplishment, and the escape from reality can be incredibly alluring. But trust me, if you're not careful, it can quickly spiral out of control and negatively impact your life in ways you never imagined. Now, let me be clear – I'm not saying that playing video games is inherently bad. In fact, they can be a great way to relieve stress, have fun with friends, and even develop certain skills like problem-solving and hand-eye coordination. The issue arises when gaming becomes an obsession that takes over your life, leaving little room for other important aspects like studying, socializing, and taking care of your physical and mental health.I speak from experience, my friends. There was a time when I was so deeply immersed in the virtual world that my grades started slipping, my friendships suffered, and I even neglected basic self-care. It was a dark period, and it took a wake-up call from my parents and a heart-to-heart with my best friend to make me realize how far down the rabbit hole I had gone. But enough about me – let's talk about some telltale signs that you might be heading down a similar path. If you find yourself constantly thinking about the next game or level you need to conquer, if you're skipping classes or neglecting homework to play, or if your sleep and eating habits have taken a hit, those are major red flags. And let's not forget the social aspect – if you're avoiding hanging out with friends or engaging in other activities you once enjoyed because gaming has become your sole focus, it's time to re-evaluate your priorities. Now, I know what you're thinking – "But it's so hard to quit!" And you're absolutely right. Breaking any addiction is a challenge, and video game addiction is no exception. But here's the thing: it's not about quitting cold turkey (unless that's what works best for you). It's about finding a healthy balance and setting boundaries for yourself. One of the first steps is to identify your triggers. What situations or emotions make you more likely to turn to gaming as an escape? For some, it might be stress or anxiety. For others, it could be boredom or a desire for social interaction. Once you know your triggers, you can develop strategies to manage them in healthier ways, like exercising, journaling, or reaching out to friends and family.Another crucial step is to set reasonable limits on your gaming time. This could mean setting a daily or weekly time cap, or designating specific times of the day when gaming isoff-limits (like during study hours or mealtimes). It might also help to physically remove yourself from the gaming environment when you've reached your limit – go for a walk, read a book, or engage in another hobby that doesn't involve a screen. And speaking of hobbies, this is a great opportunity to rediscover or cultivate new interests beyond gaming. Whether it's joining a club, taking up a sport, or exploring a creative outlet like music or art, having other passions and activities to fill your time can make it easier to step away from the virtual world. But let's be real – breaking any habit is easier said than done, and there will be times when you slip up or struggle with cravings. That's perfectly normal, and it doesn't mean you'vefailed. The key is to be kind to yourself, recognize when you're veering off track, and make a conscious effort to get back on the right path.If you're finding it particularly difficult to manage your gaming habits on your own, don't be afraid to seek help. Talk to a trusted friend or family member, or even consider seeking professional support from a counselor or therapist. There's no shame in admitting you need a little extra guidance and accountability – we all need a helping hand sometimes.Lastly, remember that you're not alone in this battle. Video game addiction is a real issue that affects people of all ages and backgrounds. By being open and honest about your struggles, you might just find that others are going through similar experiences, and you can support and encourage each other along the way.Look, I know how tempting it can be to lose yourself in the virtual world, especially when the real world feels overwhelming or unfulfilling. But trust me, as someone who's been there, it's not worth sacrificing your studies, your relationships, and your overall well-being. You have so much potential, and so many amazing experiences waiting for you beyond the screen. So take it from me, a fellow student who's been through the gaming addiction struggle – it's possible to find balance and regain control. It won't be easy, but with determination,self-awareness, and a little support, you can break free from the grip of gaming and live a more fulfilling, well-rounded life.Stay strong, my friends, and remember – the real game is out there, waiting for you to conquer it.篇2Video Game Addiction: A Student's PerspectiveAs students, we've all been there – that moment when you realize you've been playing a video game for hours on end, lost in a virtual world, and completely oblivious to the passage of time. It's a feeling that can be both exhilarating and concerning, especially when it starts to interfere with our academic performance, social lives, and overall well-being.Video game addiction is a growing problem among students, and it's important to recognize the signs and take steps to prevent it from spiraling out of control. In this essay, I'll share my personal experiences and offer some practical advice for striking a healthy balance between gaming and other aspects of our lives. The Allure of Video GamesLet's be honest – video games are incredibly captivating. They offer an escape from reality, a chance to explore new worlds, solve intricate puzzles, and engage in thrilling adventures. The graphics, storylines, and gameplay mechanics have become increasingly sophisticated, making it easy to get lost in these digital realms for hours on end. However, when gaming starts to take precedence over other important aspects of our lives, such as studying, socializing, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, it can become a cause for concern. The Signs of Video Game AddictionAs someone who has struggled with video game addiction in the past, I can attest to the numerous red flags that should raise alarm bells. Here are some common signs to watch out for:Neglecting responsibilities: If you find yourself consistently putting off homework, skipping classes, or neglecting household chores in favor of gaming, it's a clear indication that your priorities are misaligned.Social isolation: Gaming can become an isolating activity, causing you to withdraw from friends and family members who may not share your passion for virtual worlds.Mood changes: Excessive gaming can lead to mood swings, irritability, and even depression when you're unable to engage with your favorite games.Declining academic performance: As gaming takes up more and more of your time, it's not uncommon for grades to suffer as a result of decreased focus and effort on schoolwork.Prioritizing gaming over personal hygiene and health: In extreme cases, some students may neglect basic self-care tasks, such as showering, eating regular meals, and getting enough sleep, in favor of gaming marathons. If you resonate with any of these signs, it's crucial to take action before the addiction spirals out of control.Strategies for Overcoming Video Game AddictionOvercoming video game addiction is no easy feat, but with the right mindset and strategies, it's definitely achievable. Here are some tips that have helped me and others regain control over our gaming habits:Set limits and prioritize: Establish reasonable time limits for gaming and stick to them. Prioritize your studies, extracurricular activities, and social commitments over gaming.Find alternative hobbies and interests: Explore new hobbies and activities that can provide a healthy outlet for your creativity and energy. This could include sports, music, art, or volunteering.Seek support: Don't hesitate to reach out to friends, family members, or a professional counselor for support and accountability. Having a strong support system can make a significant difference in your journey to overcoming addiction.Practice mindfulness: Cultivate mindfulness practices, such as meditation or deep breathing exercises, to help you stay present and focused on the important aspects of your life.Gradually reduce gaming time: Instead of going cold turkey, try gradually reducing the amount of time you spend gaming each day or week. This can make the transition smoother and more sustainable.Remove temptations: If necessary, consider uninstalling game apps or blocking gaming websites to remove the temptation and make it more difficult to access your favorite games.Celebrate small victories: Recognize and celebrate the small wins along the way, such as completing homework assignments on time or spending quality time with friends. These positive reinforcements can motivate you to continue on your path to a healthier lifestyle. The Benefits of ModerationIt's important to note that not all gaming is inherently harmful. In moderation, video games can be a fun and engaging way to unwind, socialize with friends, and exercise your problem-solving skills. The key is to strike a balance and ensure that gaming doesn't consume your life to the detriment of other important responsibilities and relationships.By implementing the strategies outlined above and maintaining a balanced approach to gaming, you can enjoy the benefits of this popular pastime without letting it negatively impact your academic performance, social connections, and overall well-being.ConclusionVideo game addiction is a real issue that many students face, but it's not an insurmountable challenge. By recognizing the signs, setting healthy boundaries, and exploring alternativeactivities, you can regain control over your gaming habits and achieve a more balanced and fulfilling student life.Remember, the journey to overcoming addiction is not a linear path, and there may be setbacks along the way. However, by staying committed to your goals and surrounding yourself with a supportive network, you can cultivate a healthier relationship with gaming and prioritize your academic and personal growth.Embrace the challenge, celebrate your victories, and never lose sight of the incredible potential that lies within you as a student and as a human being. The virtual worlds may be enticing, but the real world holds endless opportunities for personal growth, fulfillment, and success.篇3Video Game Addiction: A Student's Struggle and AdviceIt started innocently enough - just a fun way to pass the time and blow off some steam after classes. But before I knew it, playing video games had become an all-consuming obsession that was taking over my life. I was spending every spare moment hunched over my computer, controller in hand, escaping into virtual worlds filled with quests, combat, and constant rewardsand achievements. The real world and my actual responsibilities as a student faded into the background. At first, the hours melted away as I became utterly engrossed in the games. I loved the feeling of power and accomplishment as I leveled up my characters, conquered new areas, and overcame daunting challenges and bosses. The games provided an adrenaline rush and sense of pride that real life often lacked. Plus, I got to be the hero on exciting adventures instead of just another overwhelmed kid struggling with classes, papers, and exams. But then I started falling behind on assignments, skipping classes entirely, and losing sleep as I played late into the night, unwilling to log off. My grades began plummeting as did my classroom attendance and performance. I was constantly exhausted yet completely wired from staring at screens for unhealthy stretches. My eating habits grew worse as I neglected meals or subsisted on a diet of junk food, energy drinks, and leftover pizza during my gaming marathons.Relationships also suffered as I blew off friends, snapped at family members who tried to get me to disconnect, and stopped going out or participating in any campus activities. Gaming became my entire social life as I made online friends on headsetswho were just as addicted as I was. Even showering and basic self-care became optional on some days when I was deep in the thrall of the games. The unhealthy habits and isolating lifestyle took a major toll, but the games had such a powerful hold over me that I paid no mind. When I finally hit rock bottom - flunking out of a semester and nearly getting kicked out of the dorms for excessive noise violations from my gaming setup - I realized how badly out of control things had spiraled. That was my wake up call to get help and make major changes. Speaking to a counselor, I learned that my addictive gaming habits were rooted in feeling stressed, anxious, and directionless about my future. The games provided an escapist high, a diversion from my worries, and an activity I could obsess over with measurable goals and constant gratification through leveling up. Until I addressed those underlying issues, the addictive pull of gaming would remain strong.Over time, I implemented various strategies to regain balance and break the unhealthy cycle I was stuck in. First, I took a course on time management and motivation to get better at setting priorities and schedules. Having a daily routine and blocking off unchecked gaming time helped curb my impulsivebinge playing. Next, I made my living environment less gaming-friendly by situating my gaming setup in a common area rather than my bedroom. That made it harder to isolate and lose entire days to gaming binges.I also made a concerted effort to improve my sleep habits and diet since being constantly tired and fueled by junk food only aggravated my escapist tendencies. Exercising daily through weightlifting, cardio, or sports helped a ton by getting my body moving and producing endorphins in a healthier way beyond just tapping buttons on a controller.Perhaps most importantly, I diversified my interests and social life beyond gaming. I joined a few clubs, took up new hobbies like cooking and playing the guitar, and made an effort to hang out with friends in real life instead of just gaming with online usernames. Having a variety of engaging activities and real human connections made me less reliant on games to fill a void or provide a sense of purpose. My video game addiction will always be something I have to actively manage. Even today, years later, I still have to be vigilant about my gaming habits and screen time, especially when life gets stressful. Games will always hold an appeal as a form of escapism, but I've learned healthier ways to unwind, recharge, and cope with anxiety. Having a strong support system, other hobbies and creative outlets, routines, and a balanced lifestyle makes it easier to keep gaming as just a fun hobby rather than an all-consuming obsession. For any students struggling with unhealthy gaming tendencies or addictive behavior with games, I advise taking an honest look at what needs the games are fulfilling in your life beyond just entertainment. Are you using them to procrastinate, avoid other issues, or escape from stress, sadness, or lack of direction? Once you can identify the root causes, focus on addressing those with professional help if needed. Don't let gaming become a form of self-medication or avoidance that ends up making things worse. It's also crucial to build a lifestyle with firm boundaries and alternatives to gaming. Fill your daily schedule with enriching activities, productivity, socializing, exercise, and hobbies you're passionate about besides games. Make time for proper self-care like nutrition and sleep. Cultivate real-life communities and groups beyond just gaming buddies. And be honest with yourself about when gaming habits become excessive and start crowding out everything else. An occasional gaming binge on afree weekend is one thing, but neglecting all else for days on end is a red flag.Video games can be amazing and fun diversions, but they should only be one relatively minor part of your life - not anall-encompassing obsession at the expense of everything else. Keep gaming in its proper and balanced place as a leisure hobby to enjoy during downtime rather than allowing it to become an addiction ruling your life. With discipline, variety, commitment to self-care, and keeping sight of your priorities and goals, it's entirely possible for students like me to overcome gaming burnout and regain control.。

校园安全十分重要,作为学生应该做英语作文

校园安全十分重要,作为学生应该做英语作文

校园安全十分重要,作为学生应该做英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1School Should Be a Safe Place for All StudentsHi there! My name is Emily and I'm a 4th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I want to talk to you about something that's really important – keeping our school safe for all of the students.A safe school is one where we can focus on learning, making friends, and having fun without having to worry about getting hurt or feeling scared. Unfortunately, there are some bad things that can happen at schools if we aren't careful, like bullying, fights, strangers coming onto campus, and even violence with weapons in rare cases. That's why it's so important that everyone works together to make our campus a secure and happy environment.I'll start by talking about bullying, since that's probably the biggest safety issue kids face at school. Bullying can involve physical things like hitting, shoving, or taking someone's belongings. But it can also be verbal, like teasing, name-calling,or spreading mean rumors. Cyberbullying through texting and social media is a problem too. Bullying makes victims feel terrible about themselves and can really disrupt their ability to learn and enjoy school. To prevent bullying, schools need strong anti-bullying policies that are strictly enforced. There should be clear rules about what bullying is and consequences for anyone who bullies others. Teachers and staff should watch for signs of bullying and intervene right away if they see it happening. They can also teach lessons on the harms of bullying and how to be an "upstander" instead of just standing by when bullying occurs.Schools should also focus on building a positive culture of kindness, acceptance, and respect among students. Having buddy programs and group activities that bring different kids together can help break down social barriers. Celebrating our differences and promoting empathy for others makes it harder for bullying to take root.Another thing that can help stop bullying is having anonymous reporting systems, like a bully box or online form, so victims and witnesses can speak up safely without fear of retaliation. Counselors should be available to support any students who have been bullied. And parents need to have openconversations at home about bullying, cyberbullying, and how to treat others with kindness.Students should be taught from an early age about the extreme danger of weapons and violence, as well as strategies for conflict resolution, anger management, and seeking help for problems. We must create an environment where students feel comfortable speaking up if they hear about another student struggling with thoughts of violence or self-harm.There are other safety issues at school too, like making sure playgrounds are well-maintained with soft surfaces to prevent injuries from falls. Having good supervision and rules at recess can stop accidents from happening. Some schools even have policies about foods that are allowed due to student allergies.Safety procedures for things like fires, earthquakes, and other emergencies are important as well. We have regular drills at my school to practice what to do in different situations. Teachers are trained on emergency plans, evacuation routes, and first aid. Keeping classrooms free of clutter and having clearly marked exits also helps during an emergency.Another area of safety is making sure no strangers can wander into the school unchecked. At my school, all doors stay locked during the day except for the main entrance. Visitors haveto sign in at the office, show ID, and get a visitor badge before going anywhere else on campus. School staff are trained to stop any unfamiliar people and ask for identification. So as you can see, there's a lot that goes into keeping a school safe! Of course, rules and security measures are important. But I think the most powerful thing is fostering a community of caring and respect among all students. When we look out for each other, include everyone, and are kind to one another, that goes a long way in preventing bullying, violence, and other threats. As students, we can do our part too! We should follow all school rules and safety procedures. If we ever see or hear about bullying, weapons, threats, or other safety concerns, it's crucial to report it to a teacher, counselor, or trusted adult right away. What may seem small could actually be preventing something bigger and more serious. We can also be leaders in promoting kindness, inclusion, and respect in our friend groups and classroom. Even small actions of compassion, like sitting with someone new at lunch, or standing up for someone being picked on, can make a big difference. When we value and celebrate each other's differences instead ofterrorizing others, our schools become much safer and happier places.Keeping our schools safe is something we all need to work on together – students, teachers, staff, parents, and the whole community. It allows us kids to focus on learning and growing, free from fear, harassment, or danger. While no place can be 100% risk-free, I feel very fortunate that my school takes safety so seriously.I hope I've helped explain why campus safety is so crucial and the many ways schools are striving to protect us. A safe, caring, and inclusive school environment allows every student to thrive. Let's all do our part to keep making our campuses as secure as possible!篇2Campus Safety is Super Important!Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 4th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I want to talk to you about something really important - campus safety!School should be a safe and fun place for kids to learn, play, and grow. But there are some dangers we need to watch out forto make sure everyone stays safe and sound. I'll tell you all about the different safety rules we have at my school and why they matter so much.First up, we have really clear rules about who is allowed on campus during school hours. Only students, teachers, staff members, and parents/guardians who have been approved can enter the building or playground areas. We even have a sign-in system at the front office so the school knows exactly who is on campus at all times. This is so important because it prevents any strangers or dangerous people from wandering onto school grounds. Can you imagine how scary it would be if just anyone could walk right into our classrooms or onto the playground while we're playing?I definitely wouldn't feel safe! The sign-in rule keeps bad guys out.We also have safety procedures for things like fires, severe weather, or lockdowns. Every month we practice our fire drill so we know exactly what to do and where to go if there's ever a real fire emergency. We have tornado drill practices too in case dangerously high winds or a tornado comes through our area. And for lockdown drills, we learn to stay completely quiet andhide in a secure room in case there is an intruder or other threat on campus.Knowing what to do in an emergency situation like that can literally save lives. I was pretty scared the first time we did a lockdown drill because the situation seemed so serious. But Mrs. Thompson, my teacher, explained that practicing is really important so we're prepared and not caught off guard if anything dangerous ever really happens at school. She makes me feel a lot calmer about it.Another big safety rule is that we're never allowed to leave the campus or go anywhere alone during school hours. We have to stay in the designated areas for students unless a teacher or staff member is escorting our class somewhere like the library or gym. And our parents have to come sign us out at the office if we need to leave for an appointment or something. No wandering off! That's because there could be risks out on the streets that kids wouldn't really know how to handle - like getting lost, talking to strangers, or cars not seeing us and accidentally hitting us. Grown-ups are much better at keeping us safe when we have to go places. I never want to sneak off campus because myparents would be so worried if I went missing! It's just not worth the trouble. On the playground, we have clear boundaries and aren't allowed to leave those areas either during recess. We can't go wandering into the woods past the fields or jump the fence into the parking lot or anywhere else that's off-limits. The playground area is designed to be safe for running, jumping, and playing games as long as we follow the rules about taking turns, including others, and using equipment properly. One time, I actually saw an older kid try to skip over the fence to retrieve a ball that went over. But Mr. Jacobs, the PE teacher who monitors recess, stopped him right away and gave him a firm warning. Leaving the boundaries could lead to getting lost or injured, which is why we're not allowed to do that unless a teacher says it's okay.Speaking of the playground, there are also rules we have to follow about keeping playful hands and feet to ourselves. We can't punch, kick, shove or wrestle each other because somebody could get seriously hurt, even if we didn't mean it. Respect for personal space and boundaries is really important.I actually got in a tiny bit of trouble once for playing too roughly with my friend Ella at recess. We were just joking aroundand lightly pushing each other, but it looked more aggressive than it really was. Still, we shouldn't have been making any unauthorized contact like that according to the rules. Mrs. Thompson gave us a warning, and now Ella and I are more careful to keep our hands to ourselves during playtime so we don't get others or ourselves accidentally injured. There are definitely a lot of safety guidelines to remember, but they're all in place to protect us kids and create the best possible learning environment. Following rules about checking in, staying in approved areas, knowing emergency plans, and treating others with care might not seem like fun and games. But they give me peace of mind knowing that my school is篇3School Safety is Very ImportantHi everyone! My name is Lily, and I'm a student at Sunshine Elementary School. Today, I want to talk about something very important - school safety. It's crucial for all of us to understand how important it is to keep our school safe. We can all do our part to make our school a secure place for everyone.Firstly, let me tell you why school safety is so important. Our school is like a second home, where we learn, play, and makenew friends. It's a place where we should feel safe and protected. When we have a safe environment, we can focus better on our studies and enjoy our time at school. There are many ways we can contribute to school safety. One of the most important things we can do is to be aware of our surroundings. We should always pay attention to what is happening around us. If we see something unusual or suspicious, we should immediately report it to our teachers or the school staff. It's better to be safe than sorry!Another way we can help is by following the rules and guidelines set by our school. These rules are in place to ensure our safety. We should obey them at all times. For example, when we are in the science lab, we should wear safety goggles and aprons to protect ourselves from any accidents. When we are on the playground, we should use the equipment properly and not engage in any dangerous activities. It's also important to remember that we should never talk to strangers or accept anything from them. We should only go with someone we trust, like our parents, teachers, or school staff. If a stranger approaches us, we should immediately tell a trusted adult about it.Additionally, we should always be kind and respectful to our fellow classmates. Bullying and teasing can make someone feel unsafe and unhappy. We should treat others the way we want to be treated. If we see someone being bullied, we should report it to our teacher or principal. Together, we can create a caring and safe school environment.Lastly, we should always be prepared for emergencies. We should know the emergency exit routes and listen carefully to our teachers during drills. It's important to remain calm and follow instructions during these situations. By being prepared, we can ensure our safety and the safety of others. In conclusion, school safety is extremely important. As students, we have a responsibility to contribute to a safe school environment. Let's be aware of our surroundings, follow the rules, avoid talking to strangers, be kind to others, and be prepared for emergencies. By doing so, we can make our school a better place for everyone. Remember, safety first!Word Count: 300篇4School Safety is Super Important!Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 4th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I want to talk to you about how incredibly important it is to keep our schools safe. As kids, having a secure learning environment should be our top priority!First off, feeling safe at school allows us to focus entirely on our studies without any worries or distractions. If we're constantly stressed about potential dangers, it's really hard to pay attention in class or retain what we're being taught. But when the campus is well-protected, we can dedicate all our energy to absorbing new knowledge and skills from our awesome teachers.School should be a judgement-free zone where we can explore our interests and express ourselves without fear. Whether it's joining a club, trying out for a play, or just being our authentic selves on the playground, we do our best learning and growing when we feel completely at ease. An unsafe environment really puts a damper on creativity, self-discovery, and personal growth. It's also so much easier to form meaningful friendships when you don't have to worry about bullying, harassment, or violence at school. Making friends is hard enough as it is! We shouldn't have that stress compounded by feeling threatened ormistreated. Strong anti-bullying policies and a nurturing atmosphere help us develop beautiful bonds that can last a lifetime.Speaking of bonds, fostering open communication between students and staff is key for maintaining safety. We kids need to feel comfortable raising any concerns we might have, whether it's reporting suspicious behavior or just asking for help in a tough situation. The teachers and administrators are there to support us, so we have to be able to approach them without hesitation. At the same time, school security measures shouldn't make us feel like we're in prison. Finding that sweet spot between safety and freedom is important for our mental health and overall school experience. Things like positive behavioral supports, conflict resolution programs, and inclusive school cultures can go a long way.Beyond just feeling safe on campus, we must also prioritize digital safety and cybersecurity in today's high-tech world. Protecting our personal information, privacy, and online identities from threats like hacking, cyberbullying, and predators is just as vital as physical precautions. We have to learn how to navigate the internet responsibly and shrewdly.Ultimately, school should be a refuge where we can acquire knowledge, unlock our potential, and just be kids without constant fear or anxiety about our wellbeing. Maintaining a secure environment requires diligent effort and teamwork from all of us - students, teachers, staff, administrators, parents, and community members alike. We may be little, but we have a big role to play in cultivating a safe, nurturing, and joyful school! After all, we spend most of our waking hours and formative years within these walls. By looking out for one another and taking proactive safety measures, we can ensure our educational journey is safe, healthy, and positively life-changing.So there you have it, folks - school safety is super important and it's on all of us to make it happen. Stay vigilant, speak up about concerns, and follow the rules and guidelines. We've got this! Let's make our schools a haven where everyone can thrive.篇5Title: Keeping Our School Safe and SoundHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a fourth-grader at Sunny Hills Elementary School. Today, I want to talk to you aboutsomething super important – campus safety! Keeping our school safe is a big deal, and us students have a crucial role to play.First things first, what does it mean for a school to be safe? Well, it means that everyone – students, teachers, staff, and visitors – can come to school without worrying about getting hurt or feeling scared. A safe school is a place where we can learn, play, and grow in a happy and secure environment. But why is campus safety so important? Let me tell you!A Safe School Means a Better Learning ExperienceWhen we feel safe and secure at school, it's easier for us to focus on our studies and have fun while learning. If we're constantly worried about our safety, it's harder to pay attention in class, participate in activities, or enjoy our time with friends. A safe campus helps us learn and grow without any unnecessary stress or fears.Preventing Accidents and InjuriesAccidents can happen anywhere, but a safe school helps prevent them as much as possible. Things like well-maintained playgrounds, clear walkways, and proper safety equipment (like helmets for sports) can go a long way in keeping us studentsfrom getting hurt. Plus, rules about running in the halls or being careful with scissors help us stay safe too!Feeling Comfortable and ConfidentWhen we know our school is a safe place, we feel more comfortable and confident. We don't have to worry about bullies, strangers, or anything scary happening. This helps us focus on our studies, make friends, and just be kids without any unnecessary worries.Creating a Positive EnvironmentA safe campus creates a positive and welcoming environment for everyone. When we all feel safe and secure, it's easier to be kind, respectful, and supportive of one another. This positive atmosphere makes our school an even better place to learn and grow. Now, you might be wondering, "Emma, what can I do to help keep our school safe?" Well, I'm glad you asked! As students, we play a big role in making sure our campus is secure and comfortable for everyone.First and foremost, we should always follow the school rules. These rules are in place to keep us safe, so it's important to listento our teachers and staff when they tell us what to do (or what not to do!).Speaking of teachers and staff, we should always be respectful and listen to them. They're the grown-ups in charge, and they know what's best for our safety. If they give us instructions during an emergency drill or ask us to stay away from a certain area, we should follow their directions without arguing. It's also crucial for us to be kind and respectful to our fellow students. Bullying, name-calling, and physical violence have no place in a safe school. We should treat each other with kindness and report any bullying or mean behavior to our teachers or parents right away.Another important thing is to be aware of our surroundings. If we see something or someone that looks suspicious or out of place, we should tell a teacher or staff member immediately. It's better to be safe than sorry! We should also take good care of our school property. Keeping our classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds clean and well-maintained helps prevent accidents and creates a positive environment for everyone. And finally, we should always practice good safety habits. Things like looking both ways before crossing the street, wearing our helmets when riding bikes or scooters, and being careful with sharp objects can go a long way in keeping us safe and sound.I know all of this might sound like a lot, but don't worry! As long as we work together and do our part, we can make sure our school stays a safe and wonderful place for everyone.Remember, campus safety is not just the responsibility of our teachers and staff – it's something we all have to work on together. By following the rules, being respectful, staying aware, and practicing good safety habits, we can create a secure and positive environment where we can learn, grow, and have fun without any worries. So, let's all do our part to keep our school safe and sound! It's up to us to make Sunny Hills Elementary the best and safest place it can be. Together, we can make our campus a happy, healthy, and secure home away from home. Thanks for listening, and stay safe out there!篇6The Importance of Being Safe at SchoolHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a 4th grader at Sunny Hills Elementary School. Today, I want to talk to you about something that's really important to me and all my friends at school – being safe on campus. You see, school is like our second home. We spend so many hours there every day, learning new things, playing with our friends, and having lots of fun. But just like at home, there are some rules we need to follow to make sure everyone stays safe and sound. One of the most important things we have to do is listen to our teachers and other staff members. They're not just trying to be bossy or ruin our fun; they're looking out for us and making sure we don't get hurt. When they tell us to line up quietly or not to run in the hallways, it's because they don't want any of us to trip and fall or bump into each other.Another way we can stay safe at school is by being careful on the playground. The playground is awesome – we get to swing, slide, climb, and run around like crazy! But it can also be a place where accidents happen if we're not careful. That's why we should always use the equipment the way it's supposed to beused and follow the rules. No jumping off the swings or climbing on top of the monkey bars, because that's just asking for trouble!Speaking of the playground, we also need to be mindful of strangers. Our parents and teachers have warned us about talking to people we don't know or accepting things from them. That's because there are some bad people out there who might try to trick us or even hurt us. If we ever see someone suspicious hanging around the school, we should tell a teacher or another grown-up right away. But staying safe at school isn't just about following rules and being careful. It's also about being kind and respectful to each other. Bullying, fighting, and making fun of others can really hurt people's feelings and even lead to dangerous situations. We should always treat our classmates the way we want to be treated – with kindness, patience, and understanding. And if we ever see someone being bullied or picked on, we shouldn't just stand by and watch. We should tell a teacher or a grown-up so they can stop it and make sure everyone is okay. No one should ever feel scared or unsafe at school.Oh, and let's not forget about fire drills and other emergency procedures! These might seem like a pain, but they're actually super important. They teach us what to do if there's ever a realemergency, like a fire or an earthquake. We need to take them seriously and follow the instructions carefully so that everyone can get to safety quickly and without any problems. You know, thinking about all these safety rules might make school sound like a boring, scary place. But it's really not! School is still loads of fun, and following the rules just helps make sure that everyone can enjoy themselves without getting hurt.Plus, it's not just about staying safe at school. The things we learn about safety, like being careful, following instructions, and looking out for each other, are important lessons that we can use everywhere we go. Whether we're at home, at the park, or out running errands with our parents, we can always remember to be safe and make good choices. So, there you have it! That's why campus safety is so important and what we can do to stay safe at school. It might seem like a lot of rules, but they're all there to protect us and make sure we have a great time learning and playing without any accidents or scary situations. And remember, we're not in this alone. Our teachers, principals, and other staff members are always there to help us and make sure we're safe. So, let's work together, follow the rules, and make our school the best and safest place it can be!。

关于学生心理健康的英语作文范文Mental Health is Super Important for StudentsHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 5th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I want to talk to you about something that's really important, but that a lot of people don't think about too much - mental health for kids and students like me.What is mental health? Well, it's all about how we think and feel emotionally. Just like we need to take care of our physical health by eating good foods, exercising, and going to the doctor for check-ups, we also need to take care of our mental and emotional health. Having good mental health means feeling emotionally stable, happy, confident, and able to cope with life's ups and downs in a healthy way.Unfortunately, a lot of students struggle with poor mental health. We can feel anxious, stressed, sad, angry, or overwhelmed by all the stuff we have to deal with at school and at home. Maybe you're being bullied or having trouble making friends. Perhaps you're worried about your grades or struggling with a tough class. Family issues like divorces, moves, or money problems can be really stressful too. When our mental health isn't good, it makes it hard to learn, have fun, and enjoy our lives. That's why taking care of our mental health is just as crucial as our physical health. Here are some tips that have helped me and my friends stay mentally strong and resilient:Talk about your feelings. Don't keep them bottled up inside! Find a trusted friend, family member, teacher or counselor to share what's on your mind. Getting thoughts and worries out in the open makes them feel less heavy.Ask for help when you need it. Nobody is perfect and we all need a little extra support sometimes. Don't be afraid or embarrassed to ask a parent, teacher or other trusted adult for assistance with schoolwork, personal problems, or anything else you're struggling with.Take breaks and treat yourself with kindness. If you're feeling frustrated, overwhelmed or down, walk away and take a breather. Do something you enjoy like playing outside, reading, drawing or listening to music. Be nice to yourself instead of getting angry.Find a hobby or activity you're passionate about. Pursuing interests and talents outside of school is a great way to reduce stress and build self-confidence. I love playing soccer because it helps me stay active and have fun with my friends.Spend time with positive people. Surround yourself with encouraging friends and family members who make you feel good about yourself instead of putting you down. Avoid negativity as much as possible.Get enough sleep, nutrition and exercise. Eating a balanced diet, getting plenty of physical activity, and sticking to a regular sleep schedule are all so important for mental focus, mood regulation, stress relief and overall well-being.Write in a journal. Getting thoughts and feelings out on paper can be very therapeutic. You can write about things that are bothering you, make goals for yourself, or just let your creativity flow.Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing, meditation or yoga. Learning to slow down, be mindful and regulate your thoughts/emotions takes practice but really pays off.Don't be afraid to ask for professional help. Sometimes our struggles are so big that we need a little extra assistance from a psychologist, therapist or counselor. Getting professional mental health support is nothing to be ashamed of!At the end of the day, we ALL have mental health just like we have physical health. Some days will be better than others and that's totally normal. The key is building ourselves up with positive habits and coping strategies so we're resilient when tough situations come our way. I really hope these tips have been helpful! Remember, you've got this and there's no problem too big or too small to ask for support. Let's work together to prioritize our mental well-being!。

学生应该多去阅读的观点英语作文

学生应该多去阅读的观点英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Why Reading Is Important for StudentsHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a 10-year-old student in the 5th grade. Today, I want to talk to you about something that I think is really important for all students: reading!Reading is one of the most amazing things we can do as human beings. It's like having a magical portal that can transport us to different worlds, different time periods, and different experiences, all from the comfort of our own homes or classrooms. Reading allows us to learn about new things, explore our imaginations, and even put ourselves in someone else's shoes for a little while.I love reading because it's like going on an adventure every time I open up a book. One day, I might be exploring a mystical land filled with dragons and wizards, and the next day, I could be learning about the life of a famous scientist or historical figure. Reading never gets boring because there are so many different types of books out there, just waiting to be discovered! But reading isn't just fun and exciting – it's also really important for our education and future success. Here are a few reasons why I think all students should read more:Reading helps us learn new words and improve our vocabulary.Every time we read a book, we're exposed to new words and phrases that we might not have heard or seen before. By reading regularly, we can expand our vocabulary and become better communicators, which will help us in school and in our future careers.Reading improves our comprehension and critical thinking skills. When we read, we have to pay attention to the details, understand the plot or main ideas, and think critically about what we're reading. This helps us develop important skills like comprehension, analysis, and problem-solving, which are incredibly valuable in all areas of life.Reading introduces us to new ideas, cultures, and perspectives.Books can take us to different parts of the world, teach us about different cultures and ways of life, and expose us to newideas and perspectives that we might not have encountered otherwise. This can help us become more open-minded, understanding, and accepting of others, which is so important in our increasingly diverse and interconnected world.Reading helps us develop empathy and emotional intelligence. When we read stories about characters who are going through different experiences or facing challenges, it allows us to put ourselves in their shoes and understand their thoughts, feelings, and motivations. This can help us develop empathy and emotional intelligence, which are crucial for building strong relationships and communicating effectively with others.Reading can be a relaxing and enjoyable way to unwind and de-stress.In our busy lives as students, it's important to take breaks and do things we enjoy. Reading can be a wonderful way to relax, escape from the stresses of everyday life, and simply enjoy a good story or learn something new. It's a healthy and productive way to spend our free time!As you can see, there are so many great reasons why students should read more. Reading can help us learn, grow, andsucceed in so many ways, and it's also just plain fun and enjoyable! If you're a student who doesn't read very often, I strongly encourage you to give it a try. Start by finding a book or series that interests you – it could be a fantasy adventure, a mystery novel, a biography of someone you admire, or even a comic book or graphic novel. The most important thing is that you find something you enjoy reading.Don't be discouraged if it feels a little challenging at first –reading is like exercising a muscle, and the more you do it, the easier and more enjoyable it becomes. Pretty soon, you might find yourself getting lost in the pages of a book and not wanting to put it down! So, what are you waiting for? Go explore your school or local library, ask your teachers or parents for book recommendations, and get reading! Your future self will thank you for it.Happy reading, everyone!篇2Reading is So Cool!Hi there! My name is Jamie, and I'm a 10-year-old student who loves to read. I know, I know, some of you might think reading is boring or just for nerds, but trust me, it's actually really fun and cool! Let me tell you why you should read more books.First of all, reading can take you on the most amazing adventures without even leaving your room! When you read a book, it's like you enter a new world filled with interesting characters, exciting plots, and magical places. You get to use your imagination and picture everything happening right before your eyes. It's way better than just watching a movie or TV show! One of my favorite book series is Harry Potter. Can you imagine how incredible it would be to actually go to Hogwarts, learn magic spells, play Quidditch, and battle evil wizards? Well, when I read those books, I feel like I'm right there with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, experiencing all their adventures firsthand. It's just so much fun!Reading also helps you learn new things in a really cool way. Sure, you can learn facts from textbooks or your teacher, but books can teach you about different cultures, historical events, scientific discoveries, and so much more through engaging stories. It's like you're learning without even realizing it!For example, I recently read a book called "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio, and it taught me so much about acceptance, kindness, and not judging people by their appearance. The main character, Auggie, has a facial deformity, and the book shows how he deals with bullying and tries to fit in at school. It made me realize how important it is to treat everyone with respect and kindness, no matter what they look like or what challenges they face.Reading can also help you become a better writer and improve your vocabulary. The more you read, the more you'll learn new words and see how authors use language in creative ways. This can really help you express yourself better in your own writing, whether it's for school assignments or just for fun.And let's not forget, reading is a great way to relax andde-stress after a long day at school. You can curl up with a good book, forget about any worries or problems you might have, and escape into a different world for a little while. Happy reading, everyone!篇3Why Reading Is So Important for StudentsHello everyone! My name is Emma and I'm a 5th grader. Today I want to talk to you about why reading is so important, especially for us students. Reading has always been one of my favorite things to do and I think everyone should read as much as they can!Reading is fun and exciting. Whenever I open up a book, it's like being transported to a whole new world. I get to go on adventures, meet interesting characters, and learn about different places and times in history. It never gets boring because there are so many different stories and genres to choose from - fantasy, mystery, biography, you name it!Through reading, I've visited magical realms with wizards and dragons, solved perplexing crimes with kid detectives, and traveled back to ancient civilizations. Books allow my imagination to run wild in the most creative ways. They're kind of like movies, but even better because the pictures are painted in my mind instead of on a screen. That makes the stories feel more real and personal to me.Reading isn't just fun though, it's also incredibly important for learning. It helps improve my vocabulary, writing skills, reading comprehension, and knowledge about the world. The more I read, the better I get at understanding complex ideas and expressing my own thoughts clearly. In school, strong reading abilities help me out a ton. When I have reading assignments or need to study for tests, being a good reader allows me to understand and retain all that information way easier. Reading has also sparked my curiosity to learn more about topics that really interest me, like space exploration or endangered species.Another awesome thing about reading is that it allows me to learn from the experiences and perspectives of others. The characters in books come from all sorts of different backgrounds and have diverse beliefs, struggles, and personalities. Throughtheir stories, I get a window into how other people view and experience the world, which helps me become more understanding. For instance, one of my favorite book series is about a young refugee who fled his war-torn country and has to adjust to life in a new place. Reading his story gave me a much deeper appreciation for the challenges that refugees face and the resilience it takes to overcome them. It's shown me how lucky I am and why we should be welcoming to those in need.Reading also nurtures virtues like courage, perseverance, honesty, and kindness by exposing me to characters who embody those positive traits. Whenever I read about a brave heroine facing her fears or an underdog working hard to overcome obstacles against all odds, I'm inspired to apply those same principles to my own life.Honestly, being a great reader just takes practice, practice, practice. The more I read, the easier and more enjoyable it becomes. It's like building a muscle - the more I exercise it, the stronger my reading abilities grow over time. That's why it's so important for students to read as much as possible, both for school assignments and for personal enjoyment.I really hope I've convinced you how awesome reading is and why you should make it a big part of your life. There's a book out there for everyone, whether you love fantasy worlds, real-life adventures, fascinating biographies, or anything else. All you need to do is find a story that sparks your imagination and dive right in!If you're not already an avid reader, I'd encourage you to head to your school library or local bookstore and explore all the amazing options out there. And if you are someone who loves reading already, then props to you! Keep on reading and nurturing that wonderful habit.Reading opens up entire universes and expands our minds in incredible ways. For students like you and me, being a strong reader gives us a huge advantage for learning, understanding the world, and succeeding in whatever path we choose. Why wouldn't you want all that awesomeness in your life?So go pick up a book, get cozy, and get reading! Your future self will thank you. Trust me, the magic and knowledge found between those pages? Totally worth it. Happy reading everyone!篇4Yes, certainly! Here is an argumentative essay of around 2000 words written from the perspective of an elementary school student, encouraging students to read more books:Why We Should All Read More BooksHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a 10-year-old student in the 5th grade. Today, I want to talk to you about something really important – reading books! I know, I know, some of you might be thinking, "Ugh, not another lecture about reading!" But trust me, this isn't just another boring grown-up lecture. I'm going to tell you why reading is so awesome and why we should all try to read more books.First of all, let's talk about how much fun reading can be! When you read a good book, it's like you're transported to a whole new world. You get to go on incredible adventures, meet fascinating characters, and explore exciting places – all from the comfort of your own room! It's like the ultimate virtual reality experience, but without any fancy gadgets or expensive equipment. All you need is a book and your imagination. One of my favorite things about reading is how it helps me learn new things in a really fun way. Sure, we learn stuff in school too, but sometimes it can be a bit boring and dry. But when you're reading a good book, you're learning about the world, different cultures, and new ideas without even realizing it. It's like sneaking veggies into your favorite meal – you're getting all the good stuff without even noticing!Another great thing about reading is that it helps improve our vocabulary and language skills. The more we read, the more words we learn, and the better we get at understanding and using those words. It's like giving our brains a workout, but in a really fun way. So let's grab our books, curl up in our favorite reading spots, and get lost in the magic of stories. Happy reading, my friends!篇5Why Kids Should Read More BooksHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to tell you why I think kids like me should read way more books than we do now. Reading is awesome and has so many great benefits!First off, reading is just plain fun. Books can transport you to magical worlds filled with dragons, talking animals, brave heroes, and endless adventures. When I'm reading an amazing book, I get totally lost in the story. It's like watching an awesome movie, but even better because it's all playing out vividly in my imagination. Some of my favorite books like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and The Chronicles of Narnia have given me some of the most exciting, thrilling experiences of my life...and I was just curled up reading the whole time!Reading is also an incredible way to learn new things. There are books on every subject imaginable - history, science, different cultures around the world, how to code computers, you name it. I've learned so much crazy cool information from books. Did you know that a sneeze can travel up to 100 mph? Or that the first product to have a barcode was Wrigley's gum? Books have taught me facts like these and so much more about topics I'm really interested in. Reading kicks textbook learning's butt any day!Another awesome thing about reading is that it helps make you smarter. Sounds weird, but it's true! Reading exercises your brain and builds skills like vocabulary, language, memory, focus, and creativity. The more you read, the better your brain gets at processing information. We all want to get smarter, so why not do it in a fun way through books? Reading has definitely helped me be a better student.Reading also teaches you to use your imagination in a way that video games, TV shows, and movies can't. When you're reading, your mind has to take the words on the page and create vivid pictures to go along with them. You're using your "imagination muscles" in a unique way that movies and shows don't allow since they just show you the images. Using yourimagination this way makes you more creative for writing stories, coming up with ideas, solving problems, and tons of other things. Finally, reading is a great way to learn more about yourself and relate to others. The characters in books often face challenges similar to ones we face in real life, like overcoming fears, dealing with bullies, adjusting to tough situations, and more. Reading about those experiences helps me better understand myself and not feel so alone when I'm struggling with something difficult. Books teach valuable life lessons in a fun, non-preachy way.So those are some of the biggest reasons why I think kids should read way more books. We're missing out on amazing adventures, cool knowledge, brain-boosting benefits, creativity fuel, and opportunities to learn about ourselves and the world around us. Don't get me wrong, I still love my video games, sports, and hanging with friends. But reading incredible books has opened up so many new worlds and experiences that I couldn't imagine living without now.I hope I've convinced you to pick up some more books and start your own reading adventures. Who knows...maybe you'll discover the next great magical world or piece of life-changingknowledge! Reading is a chance to explore endless amazing stories and information. So whatdya say? Time to crack open a book and see where it takes you!篇6Reading is Super Cool!Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. I love reading books and I think all kids should read way more than they do. Reading is awesome and here's why:First off, books are like portals to other worlds. When you read, you get transported to amazing places you could never visit in real life. One day you could be reading about dragons soaring over medieval castles, and the next you're in outer space having an adventure on another planet! How cool is that?Books also teach you tons of stuff in a fun way. There are books about science, history, animals, you name it. I recently read a book called "Fossil Hunters" that taught me all about dinosaurs and paleontology. I learned the names of different dinosaurs, what they ate, how they lived, and even how fossils are dug up and studied. It was like going on a real dinosaur dig without even leaving my room!Reading is also great for your imagination. When you read, you have to picture what's happening in your mind based on the words on the page. This really gets your creativity going. Maybe a character just sees a "dark shadowy figure" - well, you get to decide what that shadowy figure looks like! Do they have glowing red eyes? Razor sharp claws? A cool robotic suit? It's up to you to imagine it however you want. This builds awesome mental imagery skills.Another amazing thing about books is that they can take you to the past or the future through historical fiction and sci-fi stories. I'm obsessed with the "Journey to the Centric Empire" book series, which is about kids who find a portal to a world ruled by highly advanced aliens 1000 years in the future. Getting a glimpse of what civilization could be like in the year 3023 is so fascinating to think about. Or some books, like the "Colonial Quest" series, are set hundreds of years ago when humans were first settling North America. You get to experience what life was like way back then through the characters' eyes. It's like supernatural time travel!Reading is also a great way to learn new vocabulary words. I'm always coming across words I've never heard before when reading, and I either try to figure them out through context cluesor look them up in the dictionary. My parents are constantly impressed by my "astronomical lexicon" as my dad puts it. See, I just learned that "lexicon" means vocabulary! And here's a big one - reading helps you become a way better writer. The more you read, the more you start to understand how to put sentences together in an engaging way, how to create vivid imagery with your words, how to develop characters, build suspense, and so on. Some of the best writers in the world credit reading as much as they could from an early age as a huge factor in their success.Reading is also an amazing way to fight boredom. Like, there's nothing worse than being stuck somewhere with absolutely nothing to do, right? But if you've got a book, boom - boredom solved! You can get absorbed into an epic fantasy world while waiting at the dentist's office or tagging along on your parents' errands. Reading pretty much gives you a force field against boredom. And you know what? Reading is just straight up fun. Getting hooked on an amazing book series is incredibly exciting. You literally can't wait to find out what happens next. It keeps you in suspense, laughing, crying, feeling every emotion along with thecharacters. Getting lost in books for hours on end is my absolutely favorite thing to do.Plus, reading is a nice restful activity. Sometimes I get sick of watching TV or playing video games because they can be so stimulating and in-your-face. Reading lets you power down a bit while still being entertained and engaged. You get to go at your own pace, rereading parts if you need to. For me, reading is a relaxing way to unwind after a long, overscheduled day.And here's the best part - reading is FREE if you go to the library! You can borrow literally any book you want for no cost at all. Then when you're done, just return it and get another one. It's the cheapest entertainment around. Way better than having to rent movies or buy new video games all the time. The only downside to reading is that it can be hard to find time for it with all the other stuff kids have going on like sports, music lessons, youth groups, and hanging with friends. That's why I try to bring a book everywhere I go and read whenever I have a few spare minutes - while waiting for activities to start, during bus rides, or while eating meals. You'd be amazed how much reading you can fit in throughout the day by grabbing those little pockets of time here and there. I even read during TV commercial breaks - every few minutes adds up!I really do believe that if more kids read regularly, the world would be a smarter, more creative, more peaceful place. Reading expands your mind, increases empathy by allowing you to look through other perspectives, provides a positive escape from stress, and gives you something constructive to do with your free time. When you read, literally anything is possible. You could go on quests, talk to animals, develop superpowers, travel through time, live in the future - whatever you can imagine! So that's why I think reading is super awesome and important. If you're not a big reader yet, I really hope you'll give it a shot and keep an open mind. And if you already love reading like me, then keep it up! We need to spread the reading enthusiasm to other kids our age. Reading is fundamental for learning, imagining, focusing, relaxing, and pretty much every aspect of life. It makes you smarter, more creative, and lets you experience endless adventures. So let's all read as much as we possibly can - it's going to make the world a way cooler place!。

First of all, they play a positive role in improving st udents’ studies. Due to their heavy schedules, students are often buried in textbooks and seldom expose themselves to a colorful life. But the various activities provide opportunities for them to relax themselves and enrich their minds. In addition, the activities alsoserve students living in the “ivory tower” more chances to get in touch with society. From these activities, the participants have to leave the classroom and get to know the society. All these offer an important means for students to broaden their horizons. By .participating in campus activities, they have fulfilled university life and in turn help campus activities to .grow and flourish.参加学校活动的.英语作文篇6I’m happy that you’re curious about the Education Week held in our school recently and glad to give you a brief description of it.In order to show parents the colorful school life of their children and promote the school’s communication with parents, an Education Week was held April 17 through 21. During the week all classes were open to parents. It also included theme class meetings where students were proud to show off their talents. Besides, parents were welcomed to give advice on how to make our school better and share their experience in bringing up children. The Education Week was a great success and we as well as our parents have benefited a lot from it.参加学校活动的英语作文篇7On the morning of April 20, when I was still dreaming, my father came to call me and said, "earthquake!" I thought it was a dream. Wake up, only know is sichuan ya 'an has a 7 magnitude earthquake, terrible!Today, the school held a charity sale to help people in the earthquake-stricken areas to donate money to help them through the difficulties. All the children in the school attended, and the seniors took their books, stationery, toys and so on, andwe prepared the money to choose what we liked. All the income today will be donated to the earthquake-stricken area. I bought three things: a weapon in the armor, a pin and a very special top, which I bought for only five dollars. The weapon was originally 5 yuan, and I was bargaining for 4 yuan for it. The pin and the top were all a dime. I gave them a dollar and didn't ask for change. I think this kind of activity is very meaningful! When I got home, I told my mother about the activity, and I hope that my parents can also donate to the disaster area. We help them together, bless them!参加学校活动的英语作文篇8Our school has various activities outside class. In general ,the activity time is from ten to five o'clock to ten to six o'clock in the afternoon and the content of activities include reading, playing basketball and football and other sports. On Tuesday, we will watch English movies and listen to the broadcast. One can learn computer, drawing, singing, dancing out of interst on Thursday and Friday will be the English corner time. My suggestion about the activities at school is that our school should add more activities and reduce the homework.参加学校活动的英语作文篇9Pparently, most schools often organize sports activities, such as football games, races and etc. However, people have different views about these sports activities. Most teachers hold the opinion that sports activities are good to the health of the students and can reduce the possibility of illness. There's a saying which can express their reason-life lies in motion. And they also believe that during those activities, the students can develop the spirit of hard work and cooperation, and as a result, they will be more active in their lessons. On the contrary, most students argue that these games are completely a waste of time.参加学校活动的英语作文篇10On Monday, our school held a charity sale, which added a warm smell to the monotonous winter. The charity sale is on the playground. Before the event, I came to the school and saw a red brush hanging from the chairman's desk. The red brush said: charity sale. In the light of the sun, the "charity selling activities" these bold big words, in the sunlight shine very moving. Red brush next to, still affixed big and small propaganda photograph. Schoolmates come and go, move the table, carry the chair, even tired of wheezing, and grin, and then move. Each store is set up in a short time, and the playground is decorated with all kinds of different colors, each of which has a variety of products, which is attractive. At two o 'clock in the afternoon, when the bell rang, the birds in the cage of the students rushed out of the classroom and went to the playground to sell things. The playground suddenly became crowded and crowded. Some classmates, for the brand, place to place to go: some classmates, stand on a chair, and yelled: some classmates, also sent several classmates, distributing leaflets everywhere, attract customers, the whole playground into hypermarket, and cries ripples across the playground. Our class is one of them, and I am a small businessman in the shop. The customers who came to buy it were very generous, like a monopoly, when they saw what they wanted to buy, they asked the price and bought it. It is very different from those who haggle in the market. Therefore, the love of the students who sell the goods comes in the form of the teacher's efforts. The most lively is the auction site, the price of the price hasnot been stopped, everyone wants to offer a love, do their own responsibility. Feng zihang of our class spent 60 yuan to buy a big frog: Mr. Yang first announced the starting price of the frog: 15, and the auction began. A man raised his hand over his head and said loudly: "25 yuan!" One man took the money in his hand and said, "thirty dollars!" Feng zihang's bite price: "50 yuan!" I didn't expect people to raise the price: "55 yuan!" Feng zihang said, "60 yuan!" It was the only thing he had left, and then no one raised the price, and the frog was taken home by him. Other students who wanted the doll, though they couldn't get a frog doll, still had a smile on their faces. This reminds me of the words in the bible: giving is more pleasure than receiving. The people who sell things are not the ones who end up getting these things, but the joy of receiving them when they help people. At four o 'clock, love charity sale is over, the students were confounded, hands to buy items, heart was full of sweet, in his hand, they not only items, or a love of students.参加学校活动的英语作文篇11I feel it an honour to have the chance to tell you something about our activities at school after class. We have one hour of activities from 4:20 to 5:20 in the afternoon. Some students read books in the reading - room; some have sports on the playground; some sing songs in the theatre hall. some learn to operate computers in the lab and others take part in their group work about different subjects. The majority are most interested in sports and computers. We hope that we can have less homework and more time to join in the activities. We are also looking forward to more visits and tour trips.Thank you.Nowadays, there is a increasing number for people to join in the activities of volunteering. It’s well-known that volunteering job is making contribution to the society with nothing in return. It’s like the Leifeng spirit. However, knowing this, there are still many people would like to devote themseves in this trend. For instance, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has so many volunteers. They made lots of contribution to the success of opening the Olympics. Moreover, we can often see that there many students go to geroium to visit the old to bring warm to the lonely people. Even there are some people’s career is volunteer. They are ready to help others. Although the volunteers are much more mon, we still need to thanks them to admire them devoting themseves to the society.参加学校活动的英语作文篇13Here is my plan for the coming charity bazaar. Personally, I will open up a stall that sells plastic cups. I bought 100 plastic cups online for 40 yuan totally. I will sell each of the cups for 1 yuan so I would gain a profit of 60 yuan. However, I know that selling cups is not going to be smoothy as I though in real life. A potential problem is that there will be so many stalls and thus it's hard for buyers to actually find my stall. After think think over about this issue, I decided to hang an big outstanding poster for my stall to make my stall easier to be found. On the poster sais what I'm selling and how will I spend the money I collected. By the way, I will donate the money to Chinese Refugee Organization to help poor people. I hope this report gives you a clear view of what and how I'm going to participate in this charity bazaar. On March 5th, I attended a Charity Bazaar, which was held by the Students' Union. All revenues raised from this event were donated to poor children through the organizer.Mr.Lin was present and made a speech to thank all participants for their continuously supporting poor students. All kinds of beatiful handicrafts attracted plenty of visitors. The Students' Union also sold the Chinese fans and paper-cutting and other Chinese traditional handcrafts.I think the event this year was a huge success knowing that almost 200 students visited during the first hour only. I bought some DIY chocolates and candies, several books and greeting cards. I hope I can try my best to help the poor students to relieve them of financial burden. At the same time, I am personally touched and heartened to see the enthusiasm and selflessness displayed by our fellow classmates whose efforts collectively made this event a great success. The many happy faces of our kind classmates at the event is a wonderful reflection of the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork - working together for the underprivileged classmates' future.参加学校活动的英语作文篇15Friday,May 7th This morning our class had a charity sale on our school playground. We prepared many things which we made by hand in our spare time, such as kites, model planes and so on. They looked very beautiful. At 8:30, the activity started. Many students and teachers came to take part in it. It went well, and the results were worth the effort. We made over ¥2,000 in the end. We’ll send the money to Project Hope. I had a wonderfulex perience. I’m proud of what we have done. If everyone makes a contribution to the charity, the world will be much better.参加学校活动的英语作文篇16Baseball is the oldest pastime in American history. After years of evolution, todays baseball games are played with nine players, each serving a different role. The pitcher and the catcher are the first line of defense for the team in the field. They try to strike out the batters and prevent runners from stealing abses.Fielders and basemen work together to put runners out.In many aspects, teamwork makes the difference between winning an losing. The basball playing fields are seen in ballparks, schools, and stadiums. From youth to professional, players get organized into teams and teams into leagues to play ball.Every year, two of the best teams in the Major League come out to compete in the World Series to earn the title of the baseball champion.Much like other sports, baseball is now a multi-billion business, drawing fans from all over the world.Spectators love the excitement of watching players bat, dash, catch, and throw. The roar of the crowd gets louder as the game progresses.Every pitch seems to intensify the game, and once in a while someone would hit a home run and the fans would go crazy. In the end,no matter which team wins, everyone knows they have seen a worthwhile match.参加学校活动的英语作文篇17In the campus, college students are so excited about the new life and they want to make friends with others who are coming from different areas. So taking part in activities can help them to improve their talents and also make more friends. But some people doubt that activities will distract students' attention. Inmy opinion, activity is part of campus life.It is obvious that campus life provides students more stages to communicate and show their talents, so they need to find the chance by joining the activities. Some students make a lot of friends who share the same interest, or find the stage to show their talents. The meaning of activities is to improve students' ability to communicate, which is of great importance to their future life.Activities can't be ignored in campus life, but students must keep in their minds that study is their top priority. They are in the stage of preparing for skills, which means major knowledge and the ability to deal with relationships. So both study and activities are indispensable part of college life.参加学校活动的英语作文篇18High school is the very important stage for students, even the turning point of their lives. Once they learn well, they can enter the ideal university and fulfill their dreams. So a lot of students pay all their attention to the study and ignore joining the after-class activity. They think it is a waste of time to do it, instead they’d rather put more time to make up their lessons. It is the common misunderstanding of after-class activity. On the one hand, taking the activity can help students reduce their pressure. When students face the lessons all the time, they are nervous and easy to stuck in the difficulty. The activity brings students the happy hour and forget their worries. On the other hand, the activity can broaden students’ vision and enrich their knowledge, which are useful in their lessons. So after-class life is also the part of students’ lives, don’t refuse it.参加学校活动的英语作文篇19In China, students have to study all the time, they need totake all kinds of important exams, their parents want their kids take the first place, so students bury their heads in the books. When talking about Chinese kids and foreign kids, it has been admitted that Chinese kids are good at exams, while foreign kids are good at hand work. I think hand work is more important than the exam, students need to do some work to make themselves’ living. Chinese students need to join more activities, it can not only help them broaden their vision, but also can improve their overall quality. Besides getting high scores, students also need to learn to do some hand work, or they will become bookworms. Parents should not care so much about the exams, they should give the children more freedom, exam is not everything.参加学校活动的英语作文篇20Every day, we can see the figures of the volunteers. Actually, they have formed a kind of scenery of the city. Some people hold that volunteering is merely a waste of time, because the volunteers have no gains with pains. However, I believe that doing voluntary is quite rewarding. In the first place, we can put into practice what we have learnt before, for instance, when we were asked by a foreigner about the way to some place, we could practice our oral foreign language, it’s definitely a good opportunity to express ourselves in a foreign language correctly and clearly. In the second place, we could make a lot of new friends while we are volunteering As a proverb says, “At home one relies on one’s parents and outside on one’s friends”, so it is never a bad thing to have lots of friends. Finally, helping others is a good way to make you feel happy and when you help others solve a problem successful, you will feel fulfillment. In this sense, we reap a bountiful spiritual harvestby doing voluntary work.On the whole, we can benefit a lot by engaging ourselves in the voluntary work. Therefore, I suggest those that have abundant spare time registering as volunteers for the welfare for the public.参加学校活动的英语作文篇21High school is the very important stage for students, even the turning point of their lives. On the other hand, the activity can broaden students’ vision and enrich th eir knowledge, which are useful in their lessons. So after-class life is also the part of students’ lives, don’t refuse it.参加学校活动的英语作文篇22Apparently, most schools often organize sports activities, such as football games, races and etc. On the contrary, most students argue that these games are completely a waste of time. If they can use the time learning their subjects instead of playing football, they'll make great progress in their lessons. What's more, they feel very tired after these activities, which has a bad effect on their learning efficiency. From my perspective, sports activities should be supported. We can shorten the time of these activities so that they may not affect our lessons. Although we may feel tired after these games, we can learn to relax ourselves by listening to music or something else. And then we'll surely become energetic again. In conclusion, health is our foundation to work. And the only way to keep fit is to take exercise.参加学校活动的英语作文篇23In order to make our city cleaner and more beautiful, the young volunteers of our school went to the people's park this morning and offered our help.At eight, the head of the park met us at the gate. after being divided into groups, we set out to work at once. some tidied up the parking area and had motorbikes paiked in the right place. some took care of the flowers and bushes, and persuaded people to keep off the grass. around the tiger den, one group kept order to prevent accidents from happening. at the aquarium, another group worked as guides and advised visitors not to smoke. when some of us were doing cleaning, an old man praised us and said, "well done, young fellows!"We were all tired but happy. what a morning we had today.。

Something about students
Good afternoon, boys and girls,we have been students for tens of years. However, how much you know about youself? On the way of growth,we cried, laughted, even be confused.
For the first, let us talk about the childhood,A sweet dream,Isn’t it?It’s so wonderful.During that time,we have no need to worry about the study, the work,we just play crazly, forgetting everthing.
However,we had paid a great cost to getting here SCAU to study.that is the high middle school. It’s a painful dream with pleasure. Both teacher and parents were looking forward to our future.Despite the good intentions of many parents, the added academic pressure that the students must deal with can be debilitating. As a result, some students resort to abusing alcohol or drugs.Even some students were at the cost of their life.howere, some schools have offered psychology courses for students,At a bare minimum, paychology courses will at lease help students to deal with the common problem that students facing in study life.
Having got away the stone on the way of life. All of us were holding a brightly view to the college life. But to our disappointed,it’s not like in our mind.It just like there are so many spare time for us but none,we are confusing now.Firstly, let’s talk about the college romance. Being in a romantic ship at college life is becoming more and more common. Because students no longer have their parents around to tell them what should they do and can’t. however, relationship are not always easy.students should think carefully about what kind of commitment they are looking for in universerty.
Secondly, how can us to banlance the parttime-jobs and study, having a partime-job can be difficult,It can infer with homework, and cause students to get lower scores than they should.howere for those students who can afford the increasing tuition, having a parttime-job is the only way for them to study at all.on the other hand, students should ba careful that they are putting their priorities in the right place.
Lastly, which should we choose between being a postgraduate or an employee, some students prefer to become a postgraduage students.because they think that they would have more chance to get a job.the others hold the opinion that working in a field is a good way ta learn about what they would like to do in the future. In conclusion there are pros and cros for becoming a postgraduage or an employee after university.
That’s all. thank you。
