模仿秀英语演讲稿范文
Ladies and gentlemen,Good evening. I stand before you tonight to pay homage to an art form that has captivated audiences for centuries – the art of impersonation. Impersonation is not just about mimicking someone else; it is a form of expression, a way to connect with the audience, and a testament to the power of human creativity. Today, I want to celebrate the impersonators, the comedians, the actors, and everyone who has taken on the role of becoming someone else for the sake of entertainment.Imagine a world without impersonation. We would miss the laughter that comes from watching a skilled impersonator perfectly capture the essence of a celebrity or a public figure. We would lose the opportunity to relive iconic moments through the eyes of someone who has the gift of bringing them to life. And we would miss the sense of wonder that comes from witnessing the transformation from one person to another.Let's take a journey through time and explore the rich history of impersonation. From the ancient theaters of Greece to the vaudeville stages of the 20th century, impersonation has been a part of ourcultural heritage. The ancient Greeks, for instance, would perform mime and masquerade, where actors would wear masks to represent different characters and gods. These performances were a way to convey moral lessons and entertain the masses.Moving forward, we find ourselves in the age of the impersonator as we know it today. The rise of television and radio in the mid-20th century brought impersonation into the living rooms of millions. Characters like Buddy Hackett, who impersonated everyone from Bing Crosby to Winston Churchill, became household names. And then there was the legendary Frank Gorshin, who could turn himself into everyone from Batman's nemesis, The Riddler, to President Richard Nixon. As we delve deeper into the modern era, we find impersonation taking on new forms. The advent of YouTube and social media platforms has given birth to a new generation of impressionists. These digital artists have the power to reach a global audience with their talents. Names likeJames Corden, who impersonates everyone from politicians to celebrities on his late-night talk show, have become global icons.Impersonation is not just about humor; it is also a form of commentary. Impressionists often use their art to highlight societal issues, to poke fun at the powerful, and to bring attention to important matters. When an impressionist captures the essence of a politician, they often do so with a sense of humor that can be both entertaining and thought-provoking. It is a way to hold those in power accountable while also providing a moment of relief from the heavy topics that dominate the news. But impersonation is not without its challenges. It requires a deep understanding of the person being impersonated, their mannerisms, their voice, and their essence. It is not enough to simply mimic; one must embody. This takes skill, dedication, and a certain level of respect for the subject. Impressionists must walk a fine line between entertainment and reverence, ensuring that they pay homage to the original while also bringing their own unique twist to the act.Ladies and gentlemen, let us now celebrate some of the great impersonators of our time. We have seen actors like Robin Williams transform into characters like Mrs. Doubtfire and Aladdin, bringing joy and laughter to audiences around the world. We have watched Ellen DeGeneres, with her impeccable impersonations of celebrities, become a beloved figure in her own right. And who could forget Whoopi Goldberg, whose impersonations of different accents and characters have been a staple of her comedy for decades? But impersonation is not just the domain of actors and comedians. It is also a part of our everyday lives. We all have our own personal "characters" that we adopt in different situations. Whether it's the professional persona we present at work or the relaxed, casual self we show to our friends, we are all, in a way, impersonators. In conclusion, impersonation is a powerful tool that has the ability to unite, entertain, and provoke thought. It is an art form that has stood the test of time and continues to evolve. As we celebrate theimpersonators, let us also celebrate the audiences who appreciate their talent and the joy they bring into our lives. To all the impressionists, past and present, thank you for your dedication, your creativity, and your ability to bring us moments of joy, laughter, and connection. Your art is a testament to the human spiritand the boundless possibilities of the imagination. Here's to the impersonators! Cheers!。

Companionship of books
By Samuel Smiles
A man can be known by the books he reads as well as by the company he keeps; for there is a companionship of books as well as of men; and one should always live in the best company, whether it be of books or of men. A good book may be among the best of friends. It is the same today that it always was, and it will never change. It is the most patient and cheerful of companions. It does not turn its back upon us in times of adversity or distress. It always receives us with the same kindness, amusing and instructing in youth, and comforting and consoling us in age. Men often discover their affinity to each other by the love they each have for a book—just as two persons sometimes discover a friend by the admiration which both have for a third. There is an old proverb, “Love me, love my dog.” But there is more wisdom in this: “Love me, love my book.” The book is a truer and higher bond of union. Men can think, feel, and sympathize with each other through their favorite author. They live in him together, and he in them. “Books,” said Hazlitt, “wind into the heart; the poet’s verses slid in the current of our blood. We read them when young, we remember them when old. We feel that it has happened to ourselves. They are to be had very cheep and good. We breathe but the air of books.” A good book is often the best urn of a life enshrining the best that life could think out; for the world of a man’s life is, for the most part, but the world of his thoughts. Thus the best books are the treasuries of good words, the golden thoughts, which, when remembered and cherished, become our constant companions and comforters. “They are never alone,” said Sir Philip Sidney, “that are accompanied by noble thoughts.” The good and true thought may in times of temptation be as an angel of mercy purifying and guarding the soul. It also enshrines the germs of action, for good words almost always inspire good works. Books possess an essence of immortality. They are by far the most lasting products of human effort. Temples and statues decay, but books survive. Time is of no account of great thoughts, which are as fresh today as when they first passed through their authors’ minds ages ago. What was then said and thought still speaks to us as vividly as ever from the printed page. The only effect of time has been to sift out the bad products, for nothing in literature can long survive but what is really good. Books introduce us into the best society. They bring us into the presence of the greatest minds that have ever lived. We hear what they said and did; we see them as of they were really alive; we sympathize with them, enjoy with them, grieve with them; their experience becomes ours, and we feel as if we were in a measure actors with them in the scenes which they describe. The great and good do not die even in this world. Embalmed in books, their spirits walk abroad. The book is a living voice. It is an intellect to which one still listens. Hence we ever remain under the influence of the great men of old. The imperial intellects of the world are as much alive now as they were ages ago. (Crazy English Vol. 61)

用八年级下册英语22页模仿2b写一篇作文
用八年级下册英语22页模仿2b写一篇作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1As human beings, we are constantly learning from one another and imitating the actions and behaviors of those around us. This natural tendency to mimic others plays a crucial role in our development and growth as individuals. Just like how children learn to speak by listening to their parents and peers, we continue to learn from imitation throughout our lives. In the classroom, imitation can be a powerful tool for learning. For instance, in the eighth grade English textbook on page 22, there is a section about writing a letter to express appreciation. By imitating the format and language used in the sample letter provided, students can learn how to effectively convey their feelings of gratitude in writing. Through this exercise, students not only learn how to express appreciation but also develop their writing skills.Outside of the classroom, imitation also plays a significant role in shaping our identities and behaviors. We often look up to role models or celebrities and seek to emulate their success orstyle. By observing and imitating the actions of those we admire, we can learn valuable lessons and adopt positive habits that can lead to personal growth and success. However, it is important to remember that imitation should not be mindless or uncritical. While learning from others can be beneficial, it is essential to think critically about the behaviors we are imitating and consider whether they align with our values and goals. By being mindful of the actions we choose to imitate, we can ensure that we are growing in a direction that is authentic and true to ourselves. In conclusion, imitation is a natural and powerful tool for learning and growth. Whether in the classroom or in everyday life, we can learn valuable skills and insights by observing and emulating the actions of others. By approaching imitation with mindfulness and intention, we can harness its potential to shape our identities and become the best versions of ourselves.篇2Title: My Experience with Simulated Writing Using Eighth Grade English Book ActivityAs a student in the eighth grade, I recently had the opportunity to participate in a writing activity that involvedimitating a passage from the English textbook. The specific passage we were asked to imitate was found on page 22 of the textbook in the second part of the activity. In this passage, the author described a visit to a local market and the sights, sounds, and smells that could be experienced there. I found this exercise to be both challenging and rewarding, as it allowed me to practice my descriptive writing skills and learn more about the importance of setting and detail in creating a vivid scene. To begin with, I carefully studied the passage on page 22 of the textbook and paid close attention to the way the author had used descriptive language to bring the market to life. I noticed how the author had used specific details to paint a picture of the bustling market, from the colorful fruits and vegetables on display to the loud chatter of the vendors and customers. I also took note of the sensory details that the author had included, such as the smells of spices and the sound of a street musician playing nearby. With this in mind, I set out to create my own descriptive passage about a visit to a market. I focused on using vivid language and sensory details to create a scene that would transport the reader to the market alongside me. I described the sights of the market stalls, the sounds of the bustling crowd, andthe smells of exotic spices and ripe fruits. I also included details about the interactions between the vendors and customers, as well as the atmosphere of excitement and energy that filled the market.Overall, I found this exercise to be a valuable learning experience. It allowed me to practice my descriptive writing skills and experiment with different techniques for creating vivid scenes in my writing. I also gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of setting and detail in bringing a story to life. In the future, I plan to continue practicing my descriptive writing skills and using what I have learned from this activity to improve my writing in all areas. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this exercise and look forward to applying what I have learned in future writing assignments.篇3A Day in the Life of a Middle School StudentAs an eighth-grade student, my days are typically filled with classes, homework, extracurricular activities, and time spent with friends and family.

Do you understand?"[The room erupts in applause as Davis storms off the stage, leaving an indelible impression.]---Act 2: The Comedians' CornerScene 1: The King of Comedy – Charlie Chaplin[The stage is lit up with a spotlight, and the iconic music of "The Tramp" plays.]"Charlie Chaplin, the silent film star who spoke volumes without asingle word." [Imitates Chaplin's walk and mannerisms.][The audience watches in amazement as the "Tramp" character walks across the stage, his face full of emotion and his hands conveying a thousand words.][The music swells as Chaplin performs a classic slapstick routine, leaving the audience in stitches.]Scene 2: The King of the British Stage – Rowan Atkinson[The stage is filled with laughter as the audience prepares for the one and only Mr. Bean.]"Rowan Atkinson, the man who made us laugh with a single twitch of his face." [Imitates Bean's voice and expressions.][The audience is drawn into Bean's world as he stumbles, trips, and performs his famous pratfalls, all without saying a word.]"Mr. Bean, I think you've lost your trousers!"[The laughter is contagious, and Atkinson's Bean character leaves the stage, leaving the audience longing for more.]---Act 3: The Legends of LiteratureScene 1: The Bard of Avon – William Shakespeare[The stage is draped in velvet, and the music takes on a Shakespearean tone.]"William Shakespeare, the playwright whose words have echoed through the ages." [Imitates Shakespeare's voice.]"To be, or not to be: that is the question."[The audience is transported back to the Elizabethan era as the Bard delivers his famous soliloquy from "Hamlet."]"Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none."[The applause is thunderous as the Bard exits the stage, leaving behind a profound impression.]Scene 2: The Poet Laureate – Alfred, Lord Tennyson[The music softens as the stage is set for the romantic verses of Tennyson.]"Alfred, Lord Tennyson, the poet who painted dreams with words."
