Teaching has been a significant part of my life for the past few years. I have had the opportunity to teach students of different ages and backgrounds, and it has been a fulfilling experience. In this essay, I will share my teaching experience and how it has impacted me.Firstly, I started teaching English to young learners in a language center. It was challenging as I had to make the lessons engaging and fun for the children. I had to use props and games to keep the children interested and motivated. It was a great learning experience for me as I had to be creative and think outside the box to make the lessons effective.Later, I started teaching English to university students. It was a different experience as the students were older and had different learning needs. I had toadjust my teaching style to meet their needs. I had to use more advanced vocabulary and provide more challenging tasks. It was a rewarding experience as I saw my students improve their English skills and gain confidence in using the language. In addition, I have also taught online. It was a convenient way to teach as I could reach students from different parts of the world. Teaching Someone to Do Something。

Teaching someone to do something is a rewarding experience. Whether it's teaching a friend how to cook a new recipe, showing a family member how to ride a bike, or helping a colleague learn a new skill at work, the act of teaching can be fulfilling and enjoyable. In this essay, I will share my experience of teaching my younger brother how to play the guitar, and the valuable lessons I learned from the process. It all started when my brother expressed an interest in learning how to play the guitar. As an experienced guitar player myself, I was more than happy to teach him. I knew that teaching him would not only help him develop a new skill, but it would also strengthen our bond as siblings. I was excited to take on the role of a teacher and guide him through the process of learning how to play the guitar. The first step in teaching my brother was to create a structured plan. I knew that it was important to start with the basics, so I began by teaching him how to hold the guitar properly and how to tune it. I also taught him the names of the different parts of the guitar and how to read basic guitar tabs. I made sure to be patient and encouraging, as I understood that learning something new can be challenging and overwhelming at times. After my brother had a good grasp of the basics, we moved on to learning some simple chords. I showed him how to position his fingers on the fretboard and strum the strings to produce different sounds. I also taught him some basic strumming patterns and how to transition between chords smoothly. It was important for me to break down each step into manageable chunks and provide him with plenty of opportunities to practice. As we progressed, I realized the importance of providing constructive feedback. I made sure to point out his strengths and gently correct his mistakes. I also encouraged him to ask questions and express anydifficulties he was facing. By creating an open and supportive learning environment, I was able to help my brother build his confidence and improve his skills.Throughout the teaching process, I also learned the value of patience and perseverance. There were times when my brother felt frustrated and wanted to give up, but I was there to remind him that learning a new skill takes time and practice. I encouraged him to stay motivated and assured him that he was making progress, even if it was gradual. I also learned to adapt my teaching methods tosuit his learning style, which helped him grasp the concepts more effectively. After several weeks of dedicated practice and guidance, my brother was able to play a few simple songs on the guitar. I was thrilled to see his progress and the joy on his face as he strummed the chords and sang along. It was a proud moment for both of us, and I felt a sense of accomplishment knowing that I had played a part in his learning journey.Teaching someone to do something is a meaningful experience that requires patience, empathy, and dedication. It is a two-way process that involves both the teacher and the learner. Through teaching my brother how to play the guitar, I not only helped him develop a new skill, but I also learned valuable lessons about the importance of patience, perseverance, and adaptability. I look forward to continuing to share my knowledge and skills with others, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a teacher and a mentor.。

A Memorable Experience in College。

College life is always full of unforgettable experiences, and one of my most memorable experiences happened during my sophomore year. It was a time when I had the opportunity to participate in a volunteer program that took me to a rural area in China to teach English to local students. The program was organized by our college's volunteer center, and I was thrilled when I was selected to be part of the team. I had always been passionate about teaching and helping others, so I knew that this experience would be meaningful and rewarding for me. Little did I know that it would turn out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my college life. When we arrived at the rural school, I was struck by the simplicity of the surroundings. The school was smalland made of mud and straw, and the classrooms were basic with only a few desks and chairs. The students, however, were full of energy and enthusiasm, and they greeted us with smiles and excitement. It was heartwarming to see how eager they were to learn and how much they valued the opportunity to improve their English skills.During the two weeks that we spent at the school, I was assigned to teach a group of 20 students who were in their early teens. At first, I was nervous about whether I would be able to effectively communicate with them, but I soon realized that the language barrier was not as big of an obstacle as I had initially thought. The students were eager to learn, and they were quick to pick up new words and phrases. I was impressed by their dedication and determination, and it inspired me to give my best in teaching them.As the days went by, I found myself forming a strong bond with the students. We laughed together, struggled through difficult grammar rules together, and celebrated every small achievement together. I was touched by theirsincerity and their eagerness to learn, and I was grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their educational journey. One particular moment that I will never forget was when one of my students, a shy and reserved girl named Lily, came up to me after class one day. She handed me a small, handmade card and said, "Thank you for teaching us. You are the best teacher we've ever had." I was deeply moved by her words, and I realized the impact that I had on these students' lives. It was a humbling and gratifying experience, and it made me appreciate the power of education and the joy of giving back to others. When it was time to leave the school, I was overwhelmed with mixed emotions. I was sad to say goodbye to the students and the teachers, but I was also filled with a sense of pride and fulfillment. I knew that I had made a difference in the lives of these students, and that was a feeling that I would always cherish.Looking back on this experience, I am grateful for theopportunity to have been part of the volunteer program. It not only allowed me to share my knowledge and skills with others, but it also taught me valuable lessons about empathy, compassion, and the importance of giving back to the community. This experience has had a lasting impact on me, and it has inspired me to continue seekingopportunities to make a positive difference in the world. In conclusion, my experience of teaching English torural students during my college years will always hold a special place in my heart. It was a time of personal growth, cultural exchange, and meaningful connections, and it hasleft me with lasting memories that I will always treasure.I am grateful for the lessons I learned and the friendships I made, and I am eager to continue using my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on the world.。

My Teaching Experience

My Teaching Experience ——Some Tips For Being An English TeacherWritten byGuan LingJinan Yongchang Road Primary SchoolMy Teaching Experience——Some Tips For Being An English TeacherAbstractI’ve been a primary English teacher for more than 3 years. My own experience of teaching English tells me that not every kid in your classes is very interested in learning English, and someone may consider it the least important of his many subjects that he needs to study in order to graduate. It’s very common in school and we must admit it. But we can’t lose hope and give up your students, or think they are unprosperous. We should try our best to enable the students to be interested in English or other subjects.Key WordsRespect, love, patience, attitude and improvement..IntroductionIn modern times, it seems to be a teacher more difficult than before. Why? Are the students becoming more complicated? Is the society changing so rapidly? I think it’s hard to answer this question. But I’m sure we all want to be a good teacher for the students.I. Respecting your students is the base of being a good teacher.Respecting all the students is one of the modern educational views , Consider them as independent persons, because they have different characters and personalities. They have different hobbies and habits. Asa teacher, you should understand these and respect each student. And thus you’ll be respected, too. And then you’ll have the first essential condition of being a good teacher.II. Love will find a way.You can’t imagine a teacher without love. In my view, love is essential to a good teacher, especially in the primary school. The kids are young, they need to be loved. They need to feel respected and trusted. As a teacher, I always look them as my good friends, not only teach them knowledge, but also care of their souls. Once, I taught a boy named Yang Zhen, whose parents were divorced. So his temper is very strange, he can’t keep quiet and concentrate on study and sometimes he bothered the other students in the class. What could I do? One day, I found that he was very interested in painting, so I called him to my office and asked him to help me with my teaching cards. He and I drew the pictures together and used them in the English class, when I told the class they’re made by Yang Zhen, all the students were surprised and admired him, and I saw him smiling proudly. After that, he worked harder and harder, and help the others with English.III. Patience is the key.You simply have to be flexible at all times. Kids have bad days, holidays come unexpectedly, teachers get sick and you'll have to sub, teaching can be like being the ringleader of a circus. You never knowwhat to expect, and hours of planning and hard work can become useless when the class doesn't respond. There are two or three students in the class, they may not understand what you teach in time, you must spend much more time teaching them again and again after class, so you should be patient, and never let anyone to fall behind. And your aim is to enable your students to be more self-confident. They believe themselves will be successful one day.IV. You’d better to think of everything as you standing at your students’ position, that’s a good attitude.English is easy for you; it's not easy for your students. That's much harder to remember than you think. Again, think back to learning English in school. Do you remember the beginning? If you could say: "My name is Joe. What is your name?" or "I have a brown sweater," well, you felt like a king!Later, an entire month might be taken up into learning how to simply understand how to make a sentence into a question, and vice-versa. Or how to understand a simple sentence like: "I took my grandmother to the shop to buy some milk," as it was spoken to you by a fellow student. Over time, perhaps six months or more, you began to actually understand the words that your teacher babbled to you every morning, and to make them into coherent thoughts. Then came learning all the rules of prepositions, (to, with, at, on, etc.),gender, tenses, and everything else in order to construct simple sentences like "where's the bathroom?" and have them make sense. It may be all you can do one day to teach your class the simplest of words or sentences. Or you may be struggling to explain complex grammar, which you discover you don't understand either, to a class of intermediate speakers who want to know the difference between "see" and "look at" and why.Speak slooooowly and clearly at all times. Never assume that your class understands even the simplest terms, even if they speak it back to you. They may not even understand what they are saying, only how to say it. Trust me, this will play some tricks on your brain!V. Besides teaching, improve your English continuously. It really pays to pick up a few books, not on teaching English, but on English itself! For example, pick up a solid, easy to understand book on English grammar. Make sure it has a rock-solid Table of Contents and an Index so you can look up things like "modal verbs," "past perfect," "if as conditional," and "definite and indefinite articles."Can you explain those terms right now? I thought so. Get a book, because you will have to explain them when you teach, and more than that, you will be expected to know them by your school! Also, an essential book you simply must read is: The Mother Tongue, by Bill Bryson. In a fascinating and funny way, Bryson explains theorigins of the English language, and why it simply doesn't make a lot of sense. For example, why does "burn up" and "burn down" mean the same thing? I bet you never thought of that, but your students will! While you're answering a slew of questions which you never thought to imagine about the complexities of the English language for your class, you will find yourself stumped again and again why none of the "rules" of grammar really seem to make much sense, and that every one has several exceptions. More than any other factor, this book alone "saved" my year of teaching from being a total disaster. It gave me the perspective I needed to understand that learning English, and teaching English, requires flexibility, patience and a serious degree of nonchalance. English, unlike any other language in the world, is an imprecise science. One has to respect that in English the rules are meant to be broken, and that the language is spoken differently around the world with the same results: communication. And that is really all that matters. Bryson's book really helped me to settle in and realize that my students understanding the "rules," which are nearly impossible to teach, was a lot less important than the bottom line, which is simply that I helped them to be more comfortable and confident in speaking my language.Perhaps that is why my students thank me, because in the end, all I could really, honestly do was to simply encourage them to speak.References[1] Krashen, S.D. The Great Experience of a Teacher。

Teaching is not just a profession; it's a calling, a vocation that requires dedication, passion, and a profound commitment to shaping young minds. Through my years of experience as a teacher, I have encountered numerous moments that reaffirm the greatness of this profession. One of the most significant experiences in my journey as an educator occurred when I witnessed the transformation of a struggling student. Let's call her Sarah. When Sarah first entered my classroom, she was timid, lacking in confidence, and struggling academically. She often sat at the back, avoiding eye contact and rarely participating in class discussions. However, instead of simply dismissing Sarah as a lost cause, I saw her potential and made it my mission to help her unlock it. I spent extra time with her, providingpersonalized support and encouragement. I tailored my teaching methods to suit her learning style, incorporating interactive activities and visual aids to make the lessons more engaging.Slowly but surely, I began to see changes in Sarah. She started to ask questions, participate in group activities, and even volunteer to present her projects in front of the class. Her confidence grew with each passing day, and her academic performance began to improve significantly. The real breakthrough came when Sarah approached me one day after class, her eyes shining with excitement. She told me that she had received her first-ever A on a test, something she never thought possible. Seeing the joy and pride radiating from her face filled my heart with immense satisfaction. It was a testament to the power of dedicated teaching and the impact it can have on a student's life.Another memorable experience that highlighted the greatness of teaching occurred during a school charity event. As part of our school's outreach program, weorganized a fundraising campaign to support underprivileged children in our community. Seeing my students enthusiastically participate in various activities, from bake sales to talent shows, was incredibly heartwarming. But what touched me the most was witnessing the empathy and compassion they displayed towards those in need. They didn't just see it as another school event; they genuinely cared about making a difference in the lives of others. As their teacher, I felt immensely proud to have played a part in nurturing such kindness and altruism in my students.Teaching is not without its challenges, of course. There are days when exhaustion sets in, when paperworkpiles up, and when it feels like the weight of the world rests on your shoulders. But amidst the challenges, it's the moments of triumph, the small victories, and thelasting impact on students' lives that make it all worthwhile. In conclusion, the greatness of teaching lies not in the recognition or accolades it brings, but in the lives ittouches and the futures it shapes. Every day presents new opportunities to inspire, to guide, and to make a difference. And for me, there is no greater privilege than being a teacher.(Word count: 518)。

Teaching English has been a rewarding experience for me.I have learned that every student has their own unique wayof learning, and it's important to be patient and understanding. One thing I've found helpful is to incorporate real-life situations into my lessons. For example, I might use a news article or a short story to spark discussion and help students practice their language skills in a more natural way.I've also learned the importance of providing constructive feedback. Instead of just correcting mistakes, I try to offer suggestions for improvement and praise for what the student is doing well.Another valuable lesson I've learned is the importanceof creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.I strive to make all of my students feel comfortable andsupported, regardless of their language abilities. In addition, I've discovered the power of using multimedia in my lessons. Whether it's a video clip, a song, or a podcast, incorporating different types of media can make the learning experience more engaging and dynamic. Finally, I've learned that flexibility is key. Every class is different, and it's important to be able to adapt my teaching style and lesson plans to meet the needs of my students.Overall, teaching English has given me a wealth of experience and taught me valuable lessons that I will carry with me throughout my career.。

She is quite different from my previous teachers. Firstly, she has a very casual and friendly approach towards teaching. Instead of following a strict curriculum, she encourages open discussions and debates in the classroom. This allows us to express our opinions freely and learn from each other's perspectives. In addition, she incorporates a lot of real-life examples and scenarios into our lessons. This makes the learning experience more relatable and practical. For instance, instead of just teaching grammar rules, she gives us examples of how these rules are applied in everyday conversations. This not only helps us understand the concepts better but also improves our speaking skills.Another unique aspect of her teaching style is the emphasis on self-expression. She encourages us to be creative and think outside the box when it comes to writingor speaking in English. She often assigns us open-ended tasks where we have the freedom to choose our own topics and express our thoughts in our own unique way. This has helped me become more confident in expressing myself in English. Moreover, she is very approachable and always willing to help. Whenever I have doubts or need clarification, she patiently explains the concepts to me. She also provides constructive feedback on my assignments, highlighting areas where I can improve. This personalized attention hasgreatly benefited my learning experience and has motivated me to work harder.Overall, having this new teacher has been a refreshing change. Her interactive and dynamic teaching style has made learning English more enjoyable and engaging. I appreciate her efforts in creating a positive and conducive learning environment for us. I am excited to continue learning from her and further improve my English skills.。

Title: My Experience of Teaching Assistance in Rural Areas。

Teaching in rural areas has been a transformative journey for me, both personally and professionally. The opportunity to immerse myself in a different culture while contributing to the education of children has left alasting impact on my life. In this essay, I will delve into my experience of teaching assistance and the valuable lessons I've learned along the way.First and foremost, teaching in rural areas provided me with a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by underprivileged communities. The lack of resources, infrastructure, and qualified educators posed significant obstacles to the students' learning journey. However, despite these challenges, I was inspired by the resilience and eagerness to learn displayed by my students. Their determination reaffirmed my belief in the power ofeducation to uplift individuals and communities. One of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching assistance experience was witnessing the positive impact of education on the lives of the students. Through interactive lessons and creative teaching methods, I witnessedfirsthand the growth and development of my students. Beyond academic knowledge, I also endeavored to instill values of empathy, resilience, and critical thinking in my students. Seeing them apply these values in their daily lives filled me with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Moreover, teaching in rural areas allowed me to forge meaningful connections with the local community. I was welcomed with open arms by the villagers, who embraced me as a member of their extended family. Immersing myself in the local culture, traditions, and way of life enriched my experience and broadened my perspective. It also enabled me to gain insights into the socio-economic challenges faced by rural communities, further fueling my commitment to making a difference. On a personal level, teaching in rural areas pushed me out of my comfort zone and encouraged me to embrace uncertainty. I learned to adapt to new environments, communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, and think on my feet when faced with unexpected challenges. These experiences not only strengthened my resilience but also enhanced my interpersonal skills, which are invaluable in both professional and personal settings.Furthermore, my teaching assistance experience reinforced my belief in the importance of educational equity and social justice. It highlighted the glaring disparities in access to quality education and motivated me to advocate for systemic change. Whether it was lobbyingfor increased government funding for rural schools or organizing community-driven initiatives, I became deeply invested in addressing the root causes of educational inequality. In conclusion, my experience of teaching assistance in rural areas has been a transformative journey that has shaped my perspective on education, community, and socialresponsibility. It has reaffirmed my belief in the power of education to create positive change and inspired me to continue advocating for educational equity. While the challenges were daunting, the rewards far outweighed them, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have made a meaningful difference in the lives of my students and the community at large.。

My experience of teaching
Jiu Ting Primary School Zhouqin
For some students, English is very difficult to learn.
It's true that English is different from other subjects.
Because students learn other subjects in Chinese.
We know Chinese much earlier than English. So Chinese influences [`influəns] students’ English learning.

Do you want to let students learn English well? And then I'll be very glad to share the experiences[iks`piəriəns].

The most important thing is to remember four "C". First,
"Carefulness".(仔细,慎重) You must be careful when you do anything, and also, when you teach English.

Many students make simple mistakes at times. Because they are not careful enough.

Also, many students don't regard English learning as(把什么认作)an important thing.

But we all know that English is the most widely used language in the world.

As we are growing up, English is becoming more and more important in our life.

So, when you teach English, please be careful and let them learn English careful.

Further (进一步的)more, you also let students "listen" carefully. At school, let students listen carefully when you speak in English in class. The teacher can tell students a lot.

If they have chances to speak to foreigners[`fɔrinə]from English-spoken country, they should listen to them carefully. Pay attention to their pronunciations and ways to express.

Many Chinese students are troubled by spoken English. Of course there is a reason about the language environment [in`vairnment] 勇气.

However, the more important thing is that some of students are not confident enough to "open the mouth". When they meet some foreigners, they hardly speak to them if they don't speak to us.

"Confidence" & "Courage" are what students need. They can practice their English at home. Find a mirror and then speak to themselves.

Then they may feel more relaxed and comfortable than speaking to others. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. But also be careful, don't make mistakes that you
know what is right.

The last one is "Curiosity". You need to keep curious. Interest is the best teacher. When students read an English article, see an English movie, watch some English programs or when students join in any other events about English, let students keep curious.

If you teach a new word, then let them guess the meaning before they use the dictionary.

If students find a sentence that they consider very meaningful, then let them write it down and collect all of them.

If students keep curious about English, they may find learning English is so interesting. Can't you learn English well then?
These are my suggestions of English teaching. And I hope it can be helpful for you. And thank you all for listening.
