Until now, whenever you wanted to record background sound live, yo u had to film continuously. Unlike silent f ilming, you could not let go off the release to change angle because each time you stopped filming there was a noticeable break in the sound track. That's now a thing of the past Tech nical solutions have been devised and, with the Bolex 583 and 563XL Sound Macro-Zoom cameras, this obstacle has vanished for good . These two cameras also enable you to prod uce any kind of transition between different sequences, including dissolves of bot h pioture and sound. Equipped w ith a microphone (cordless) that plugs into the camera body, they are also remarkably easy to handl e. The combination of these advantages resu lts in two cameras enabling you to shoot sou nd movies with just as much freedom of action as if you were f ilming a silent movie.

Notes on contact loadMake sure that the contact load is within the specified range; otherwise, the lifetime of the contacts will be shortened considerably. Note that the running performance shown is an example, and that it varies depending on parameters such as the type of load, switching frequency, driver circuit, and ambient temperature under the actual operating conditions. Evaluate the performance by using the actual circuit before using the relay.2. Driving relays- If the internal connection diagram of a relay shows + and – symbols on the coil, apply the rated voltage to the relay in the specified direction. If a rippled DC current source is used, abnormalities such as beat at the coil may occur.- The maximum voltage that can be applied to the coil of the relay varies depending on the ambient temperature. Generally, the higher the voltage applied to the coil, the shorter the operating time. Note, however, that a high voltage also increases the bounce of the contacts and the contact opening and closing frequency, which may shorten the lifetime of the contacts.- If the driving voltage waveform of the relay coil rises and falls gradually, the inherent performance of the relay may not be fully realized. Make sure that the voltage waveform instantaneously rises and falls as a pulse.- For a latching relay, apply a voltage to the coil according to the polarity specified in the internal connection diagram of the relay.- If a current is applied to the coil over a long period of time, the coil temperature rises, promoting generation of organic gas inside the relay, which may result in faulty contacts. In this case, use of a latching relay is recommended.- The operating time and release time indicate the time required for each contact to close after the voltage has been applied to or removed from the coil. However, because the relay has a mechanical structure, a bounce state exists at the end of the operating and release times. Furthermore, because additional time is required until the contact stabilizes after being in a high-resistance state, care must be taken when using the relay at high speeds.3. Operating environment- Make sure that the relay mounted in the application set is used within the specified temperature range. Use of a relay at a temperature outside this range may adversely affect insulation or contact performance.- If the relay is used for a long period of time in highly humid (RH 85% or higher) environment, moisture may be absorbed into the relay. This moisture may react with the NOx and SOx generated by glow discharges that occur when the contacts are opened or closed, producing nitric or sulfuric acid. If this happens, the acid produced may corrode the metallic parts of the relay, causing operational malfunction.- Because the operating temperature range varies depending on the humidity, use the relay in the temperature range illustrated in the figure below. Prevent the relay from being frozen and avoid the generation ofcondensation.Ph (707) 996-5201 Fx (707) e-mail:***************************Data Sheet ER0515EJ1V0DS104. Notes on mounting relays- When mounting a relay onto a PC board using an automatic chip mounter, if excessive force is applied to the cover of the relay when the relay is chucked or inserted, the cover may be damaged or the characteristics of the relay degraded. Keep the force applied to the relay to within 1 kg.- Avoid bending the pins to temporarily secure the relay to the PC board. Bending the pins may degrade sealability or adversely affect the internal mechanism.- It is recommended to solder the relay onto a PC board under the following conditions: <1> Reflow solderingRefer to the recommended soldering temperature profile. <2> Flow solderingSolder temperature: 250°C max., Time: 5 to 10 seconds, Preheating: 100°C max./1 minute max. <3> Manual solderingSolder temperature: 350°C, Time: 2 to 3 seconds- Ventilation immediately after soldering is recommended. Avoid immersing the relay in cleaning solvent immediately after soldering due to the danger of thermal shock being applied to the relay.- Use an alcohol-based or water-based cleaning solvent. Never use thinner and benzene because they may damage the relay housing.- Do not use ultrasonic cleaning because the vibration energy generated by the ultrasonic waves may cause the contacts to remain closed.5. Handling- Relays are packaged in magazine cases for shipment. If a space is created in the case after some relays have been removed, be sure to insert a stopper to secure the remaining relays in the case. If relays are not well secured, vibration during transportation may cause malfunctioning of the contacts.- Exercise care in handling the relay so as to avoid dropping it or allowing it to fall. Do not use a relay that has been dropped. If a relay drops from a workbench to the floor, a shock of 9,800 m/s 2 (1,000 G) or more is applied to the relay, possibly damaging its functions. Even if a light shock has been applied to the relay, thoroughly evaluate its operation before using it.- Latching relays are factory-set to the reset state for shipment. A latching relay may be set, however, by vibration or shock applied while being transported. Be sure to forcibly reset the relay before using it in the application set. Also note that the relay may be set by unexpected vibration or shock when it is used in a portable set.- The sealability of a surface-mount relay may be lost if the relay absorbs moisture and is then heated during soldering. When storing relays, therefore, observe the following points:1. The storage humidity must be no more than 70% RH. The recommended storage period is 3 months maximum.2. To store the relay for 3 months or longer, keep the storage humidity to within 50% RH. Do not store the relay for more than 6 months.- The relay maintains constant sealability under normal atmospheric pressure (810 to 1,200 hpa). Its sealability may be degraded or the relay may be deformed and malfunction if it is used under barometric conditions exceeding the specified range.- The same applies when the relay is stored or transported. Keep the upper-limit value of the temperature to which the relay is exposed after it is removed from the carton box to within 50°C.- If excessive vibration or shock is applied to the relay, it may malfunction and the contacts remain closed. Vibration or shock applied to the relay during operation may cause considerable damage to or wearing of the contacts. Note that operation of a snap switch mounted close to the relay or shock due to the operationof magnetic solenoid may also cause malfunctioning.H u m i d i t y (%R H )85806040205−60−40−2020406080100Temperature (°C)Ph (707) 996-5201 Fx (707) e-mail:***************************No part of this document may be copied or reproduced in any form or by any means without the prior written consent of NEC Corporation. Exposure to extremely high noise levels may cause permanent hearing loss. Individuals varyconsiderably in susceptibility to noise-induced hearing loss, but nearly everyone will lose some hearing if exposed to sufficiently intense noise for a period of time. The U.S. Government’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has specified the permissible noise level exposures shown in the following chart. According to OSHA, any exposure in excess of these permissible limits could result in some hearing loss. To ensure against potentially dangerous exposure to high sound pressure levels, it is recommended that all persons exposed to equipment capable of producing high sound pressure levels use hearing protectors while the equipment is in operation. Ear plugs or protectors in the ear canals or over the ears must be worn when operating the equipment in order to prevent a permanent hearing loss if exposure is in excess of the limits set forth here.18. OWI recommends that this apparatus be placed on a switched power outlet, one that switches bothsides and has contact separation of at least 3 millimeters.End of IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSMODEL IC5 / IC6 / IC6DVCSPEAKER SPECIFICATIONS:MODEL IC5 MODEL IC6 MODEL IC6DVCMODEL IC570V04 / IC570V10 / IC670V10SPEAKER SPECIFICATIONS:MODEL IC570V04 MODEL IC570V10 MODEL IC670V10INSTALLATION:Speaker PlacementBefore installing your OWI speakers, consider the placement carefully, taking into effect the location of electrical, plumbing and other fixtures.Placement in CeilingOWI speakers should be ideally located above the primary listening area.Placement in WallOptimum sound will be achieved when your OWI speakers are installed at ear level or slightly higher and the listening area is no closer to the speakers than the distance between the speakers themselves.Mounting your OWI SpeakersDetermine the best area to mount your OWI speakers. It will be necessary to run your speaker wires to that location. This location must be free of obstructions, such as electrical conduits, HVAC ducts, or water lines.Be sure the mounting surface is between 3/8 and 1 1/4 inches thick and there is at least a 3 1/2inch clearance behind the mounting surface and no wall studs or other objects block the back of the speaker.Remove the round cardboard disc from the cutout template supplied and keep it for later use as a paint mask, if you decide to paint your speakers.Use the template to mark the position for the mounting hole at the selected location. If you are not certain that no obstruction exists (electrical wiring. plumbing. etc.), you should start by cutting a small hole in the center of your penciled mounting hole with a drywall or keyhole saw, cutting at a 45 degree angle towards the inside of the hole. Cutting a small hole at this angle will make drywall repair much easier. Once you have determined there are no obstructions in your desired mounting location, start cutting the finished hole at a 900angle to the wall/ceiling surface.Route the speaker wires from your amplifier to your opening. Avoid routing the speaker wire near electrical wires. If you have to run them parallel, make certain to space the speaker wires at least 2 feet from the AC line. Do not nail or staple the speaker wire.Preparing your OWI Speakers for MountingInsert a paper clip into one of the grille openings, then pull upwards to remove the grille.Be sure to position the four Mounting Tabs on your OWI speaker inward then insert the four screws (supplied) from the front of the speaker into the screw opening.Attach the speaker wires to the speaker terminals.Insert your OWI speaker into the opening and tighten the four screws. As you tighten the screws, the tabs will automatically flip into an outward position thereby clamping the drywall between the feet and the flange of the speaker. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN, OVER TIGHTENING MAY WARP THE BAFFLE, CRACK THE WALL, CAUSE THE FLANGE TO DISTORT AND MAKE THE GRILL DIFFICULT TO INSTALL.Push the grille firmly into the slot in the speaker baffle.Painting your OWI SpeakersThe speakers' other surfaces are primed to accept ordinary latex wall paint or aerosol spray paint. The surface of the speaker behind the grille should remain black and must not be painted. It is necessary to mask this area with the center of the template that you have cut out.The grille can be painted as well, but great care must be taken not to clog the holes in the grille as this will greatly reduce the sound quality of the speakers. It is recommended that only light spray painting using 5 parts thinning agent to 1 part paint be used. Do not paint the grilles while they are attached to the speaker.Proper Wire Gauge SelectionThe gauge of wire required is determined by the distance between your amplifier/receiver and the speakers. Use the following chart as a guide:Length Minimum GaugeLess than 10 feet 18 - 20 Gauge 10 to 100 feet 16 to 18 Gauge Over 100 feet 14 GaugeOWI SPEAKER SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY REGISTRATION(Save this portion for your records)1. Micrel, Inc. MIC2777双微功耗低压监控器说明书

November 2005 1 MIC2777Dual Micro-Power Low Voltage SupervisorGeneral DescriptionThe MIC2777 is a dual power supply supervisor that provides under-voltage monitoring, manual reset capability, and power-on reset generation in a compact 5-pin SOT package. Fea-tures include two under-voltage detectors, one fixed and one adjustable, and both active-high and active-low reset outputs. One under-voltage detector compares V DD against a fixed threshold. Ten factory-programmed thresholds are available. The other under-voltage detector is user-adjustable.The reset outputs are asserted for no less than 140ms at power-on and any time V DD or the input voltage drops below the corresponding reference voltage. They remain asserted for the timeout period after the input voltage and V DD sub-sequently rise back above the threshold boundaries. A reset can be generated at any time by pulling down on the adjust-able input. Hysteresis is included to prevent chattering due to noise. Typical supply current is a low 3.5µA.Typical ApplicationTypical ApplicationFeatures• Monitors two independent power supplies for under-volt-age conditions• One fixed and one user adjustable input • 1.5% theshold accuracy• Choice of factory-programmed thresholds• User-adjustable input can monitor supplies as low as 0.3V• Generates 140ms (minimum) power-on RESET pulse • Manual reset capability• Both active-high and active-low RESET outputs • Input may be pulled above V DD (abs. max.)• /RST output valid down to 1.2V• Ultra-low supply current, 3.5µA typical • Rejects brief input transients • IttyBitty™ 5-pin SOT-23 packageApplications• Monitoring processor, ASIC, or FPGA core and I/O volt-ages• Computer systems • PDAs, hand-held PCs • Embedded controllers• Telecommunications systems • Power supplies• Wireless / Cellular systems • Networking hardwareMicrel, Inc. • 2180 Fortune Drive • San Jose, CA 95131 • USA • tel + 1 (408) 944-0800 • fax + 1 (408) 474-1000 • IttyBitty™ is a trademark of Micrel, Inc.Ordering InformationPart NumberJunction Tem. The MIC2777 ignores very brief transients.See “Applications Information” for details.MIC2777 Micrel, Inc. Functional DiagramFunctional DescriptionIN, Under-Voltage Detector InputThe voltage present at the IN pin is compared to the internal 300mV reference voltage. A reset is triggered if and when V IN falls below V REF. Typically, a resistor divider is used to scale the input voltage to be monitored such that V IN will fall below V REF as the voltage being monitored falls below the desired trip-point. Hysteresis is employed to prevent chattering due to noise. The comparator on the IN input is relatively immune to very brief negative-going transients.V DD InputThe V DD pin is both the power supply terminal and a monitored input voltage. The voltage at this pin is continually compared against the internal reference. The trip-point at which a reset occurs is factory programmed. A reset is triggered if and when V DD falls below the trip-point. Hysteresis is employed to prevent chattering due to noise. The comparator on the V DD input is relatively immune to very brief negative-going transients.RST, /RST Reset OutputTypically, the MIC2777 is used to monitor the power supplies of intelligent circuits such as microcontrollers and micropro-cessors. By connecting the appropriate reset output of a MIC2777 to the reset input of a µC or µP, the processor will be properly reset at power-on and during power-down and brown-out conditions. The reset outputs are asserted any time V DD or V IN drops below the corresponding threshold voltage. The reset outputs remain asserted for t RST(min) after V IN and/or V DD subsequent return above the threshold boundaries and/or /MR is released.A reset pulse is also generated at power-on.Manual ResetThe ability to initiate a reset via external logic or a manual switch is provided in addition to the MIC2777’s automatic supervisory functions. Typically, a momentary push-button switch is connected such that IN is shorted to ground when the switch contacts close. Assuming V DD and V IN are within tolerance when the switch is released, the reset outputs will be de-asserted no less than 140ms later. IN can also be driven by an open-drain or open-collector logic signal.November 2005 5 MIC2777MIC2777 Micrel, Inc.MIC2777 6 November 2005Application InformationProgramming the Voltage ThresholdReferring to the “Typical Application Circuit”, the voltage threshold on the IN pin is calculated as follows:V V R1R2R2TH REF =×+()where V REF = 0.300VIn order to provide the additional criteria needed to solve for the resistor values, the resistors can be selected such that the two resistors have a given total value, that is, R1 + R2 = R TOTAL . Imposing this condition on the resistor val-ues provides two equations that can be solved for the two unknown resistor values. A value such as 1MΩ for R TOTAL is a reasonable choice since it keeps quiescent current to a generally acceptable level while not causing any measurable errors due to input bias currents. The larger the resistors, the larger the potential errors due to input bias current (I IN ). The maximum recommended value of R TOTAL is 3MΩ.Applying this criteria and rearranging the V TH expression to solve for the resistor values gives:R2R V V TOTAL REF TH=()()R1 = R TOTAL – R2Application ExampleFigure 1 illustrates a hypothetical MIC2777-23 application in which the MIC2777-23 is used to monitor the core and I/O supplies of a high-performance CPU or DSP . The core supply, V CORE , in this example is 1.0V ±5%. The main power rail and I/O voltage, V I/O , is 2.5V ±5%. As shown in Figure 1, the MIC2777 is powered by V I/O . The minimum value of V I/O is 2.5V –5% = 2.375V; the maximum is 2.5V +5% = 2.625V. This is well within the MIC2777’s power supply range of 1.5V to 5.5V.Resistors R1 and R2 must be selected to correspond to the V CORE supply of 1.0V. The goal is to insure that the core supply voltage is adequate to insure proper operation, i.e., V CORE ≥ (1.0V –5%) = 0.950V. Because there is always a small degree of uncertainty due to the accuracy of the resis-tors, variations in the devices’ voltage reference, etc., the threshold will be set slightly below this value. The potential variation in the MIC2777’s input voltage reference (V REF ) is specified as ±1.5%. The resistors chosen will have their own tolerance specification. This example will assume the use of 1% accurate resistors. The potential worst-case error contri-bution due to input bias current can be calculated once the resistor values are chosen. If the guidelines above regarding the maximum total value of R1+R2 are followed, this error contribution will be very small thanks to the MIC2777’s very low input bias current. To summarize, the various potential error sources are: • Variation in V REF : specified at ±1.5%• Resistor tolerance: chosen by designer (typically ≤ ±1%)• Input bias current, I IN : calculated once resistor values are known, typically very smallTaking the various potential error sources into account, the threshold voltage will be set slightly below the minimum V CORE specification of 0.950V so that when the actual threshold voltage is at its maximum, it will not intrude into the normal operating range of V CORE . The target threshold voltage will be set as follows:Given that the total tolerance on V TH for the IN pin is [V REF tolerance] + [resistor tolerance] = ±1.5% + ±1% = ±2.5%, and V TH(max) = V CORE(min), then V CORE(min) = V TH + 2.5% V TH = 1.025 V TH ,therefore, solving for V TH results inV =V 1.025=0.9501.025=0.9268V TH CORE(min)Solving for R1 and R2 using this value for V TH and the equa-tions above yields: R1 = 676.3kΩ ≈ 673kΩ R2 = 323.7kΩ ≈ 324kΩThe resulting circuit is shown in Figure 1.Input Bias Current EffectsNow that the resistor values are known, it is possible to cal-culate the maximum potential error due to input bias current, I IN . As shown in the “Electrical Characteristics” table, the maximum value of I IN is 10nA. (Note that the typical value is a much smaller 5pA) The magnitude of the offset caused by I IN is given by: V ERROR = I IN(max) × (R1||R2) = V ERROR = ±1 × 10-8A × 2.189 ×105Ω = V ERROR = ±2.189 × 10-3V = V ERROR = ±2.189mV The typical error is about three orders of magnitude lower than this– close to one microvolt! Generally, the error due to input bias can be discounted. If it is to be taken into account, simply adjust the target threshold voltage downward by this amount and recalculate R1 and R2. The resulting value will be very close to optimum. If accuracy is more important than the quiescent current in theresistors, simply reduce the value of R TOTAL to minimize offset errors.November 2005 7 MIC2777MIC2777Micrel, Inc.Figure 1. MIC2777 Example DesignTransient responseThe MIC2777 is inherently immune to very short negative-going “glitches.” Very brief transients may exceed the voltage thresholds without tripping the output. As shown in Figure 2a and 2b, in general the narrower the transient, the deeper the threshold overdrive that will beignored by the MIC2777. The graph represents the typical allowable transient duration for a given amount of threshold overdrive that will not generate a reset.Figure 2a. Typical INPUT Transient ResponseRESET COMP. OVERDRIVE,V REF –V DD (mV)Typical VDDFigure 2b. Typical V DD Transient ResponseEnsuring Proper Operation at Low SupplyAt levels of V DD below 1.2V, the MIC2777’s /RST output cannot turn on sufficiently to produce a valid logic-low on /RST. In this situation, other circuits driven by /RST could be allowed to float, causing undesired operation. (In most cases, however, it is expected that the circuits driven by the MIC2777 will be similarly inoperative at V DD ≤ 1.2V.)If a given application requires that /RST be valid below V DD = 1.2V, this can be accomplished by adding a pull-down re-sistor to the /RST output. A value of 100kΩ is recommended as this is usually an acceptable compromise of quiescent current and pull-down current. The resistor’s value is not critical, however. See Figure 3.The statements above also apply to the MIC2777’s RST out-put. That is, to ensure valid RST signal levels at V DD <1.2V, a pull-up resistor (as opposed to a pull-down) should be added to the RST output. A value of 100kΩ is typical for thisapplication as well. See Figure 4.Figure 3. MIC2777 Valid /RST Below 1.2VFigure 4. MIC2777 Valid RST Below 1.2VMIC2777 Micrel, Inc.
