Environmental pollution is one of the biggest problems in the world today. It is caused by many factors, such as industrial waste, exhaust fumes from cars, and garbage. All of these things can affect the environment and even people's health. In order to keep the environment clean and healthy, everybody should make an effort to reduce pollution. It is not only the government's responsibility to solve this problem, but every citizen’s responsibility.
Here are some things that you can do to help reduce pollution:
1. Use public transport instead of driving your own car. The more people use public transport, the fewer cars will be on the road, and less air pollution will be produced.
2. Switch off the lights when you leave a room. This will not only save electricity but also reduce the amount of pollution produced by power plants.
3. Recycle waste. This helps to save resources as well as reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills.
